DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITHI had a terrible experience with this company. They have their own interests of greed and profit in the forefront of their minds. Save your money and find a better course. No Refunds even in extreme circumstances. There is no point in speaking to the people they hire as they will not negotiate or understand that sometimes things happen that you do not have control over.

TERRIBLE - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO RIDE!A really big disappointment. I came to classes to learn how to ride a motorcycle, I have zero experience of riding a motorcycle and my expectations were that course help me to build necessary skills. That is was my big mistake. The class was full of people with some experience. The class portion of the training went fine. Coach Tim Shea is a good man, the class portion went fast and interesting. The range part was terrible. Once I lost control because of motorcyle front brake level was too far for me and I accidentally push the throttle. Well, it is OK. I was not sent to the home on the first day. At home, I realized the reason, why I have had issues with control - I dont have a comfortable position on the bike. The next day, I asked to replace the bike or adjust controls, however in response I heard that I should be sent to the home and I signed an agreement that Im OK to use what the school will give me. Later the couch dismissed me with an argument that Im not follow the instructions. Well, it is his opinion and right. However, what I would like to say in my turn. Im an immigrant and I understand English very well, yes I have an accent and it is doesnt mean that I stuped or dont want to follow the instruction, I really want to follow and I tried to hear the couch. The issue that I have zero experience of riding. I can not keep pace as people who have riding experience especially on the bike that isnt comfortable for you.For me important to understand what Im doing and why. The coach just read the exercise steps, without explaining what is the goal, why it is important.Videos from MSF classes that you can find on youtube shows that people do excises on range with good markup. Unfortunately, on the Hutto Range, it is difficult to read markup on the range I even had the idea to come with paint and help to add a markup, because Total Rider doesnt have enough money to refresh range markup. Also, the Couach never mentioned the markup at all!!! My understanding, the standard range markup should help students to navigate during excise.I was dismissed, the Total Rider policy said, that I can not expect a refund. I lost my time, my money, however, I didnt lose a hope to try other classes and coach. I just had the bad luck to meet Total Rider and coach who is good for people with experience but had a lack of will or desire to work with people without riding experience.

Havent ridden in about 15 years, Timothy was super experienced and provided a ton of good information and training. Whether your an experienced rider or just starting out, the class provides you everything you need to get licensed and learn to ride. Tim was very patient with the new riders and provided some really good feedback. After riding for over 8 years, I actually learned a lot.I would definitely recommend this company for training, but maybe take your class when its nice and cold outside.

Great class, money well spent. I havent been on a bike in over 25 years so the beginner class was perfect for me and I think itd be great for anyone for it touches on so many important safety subjects. I am glad the bikes that they provided were the small 125 Eliminators, they were easy to handle, they responded to you instead of leading you. Tim was my instructor and he was great, direct, objective, and fair. I would highly recommend this class for any rider because I know a lot of bikers and theres much here that they touch upon that they dont even know about. I took my class in the Buda location, bring water! Its hot out there!Vinny

Total Rider has an awesome class. My coach Choon was so great, he had a lot of excellent information. I didn’t feel intimidated or unsure about anything in the course. I would recommend this spot over anywhere else to get your cert.

They are not just trying to take your money. They really want you to get your license and be as safe as possible. Scot is a great instructor and kept the class light.

I had a great time during my classes, and my instructor, Luis, took the job very seriously and made sure to point you in the right direction during the driver training. Im new to riding, and I passed with no problems. Great school!

I want to begin this review by saying I took this class and passed. But I have to write this review because Chet the riding instructor was so disrespectful. While eating breakfast and reviewing notes for the test in my car, I was taken by surprise when Chet knocked on my window and yells at me “get off you phone ! We have things to do” , keep in Mind this is at 6:53 and the class starts at 7:00. A bad start but non the less I powered through his rude and discouraging comments during the class portion and passed the test.On the course Chet was very aggressive and made the the tests miserable for everyone with his yelling , and god forbid if you had “stupid question”.The course was very disorganized and Chet ran all the exercises in a haphazardly manner. The main thing is I passed but if I could give anyone advice, look elsewhere. Learning to ride a motorcycle is challenging enough and you don’t need all the discouragement from an instructor that is supposed to instill confidence. A motorcycle class should be an enjoyable experience and that is not what Chet and the staff provide over at Total Rider.Hope this helps, best of luck and look elsewhere for a motorcycle class.

Stay away. I had a family emergency which prevented me from making one of the riding days (the third part of a 3 part process) . Their policies are very harsh and reps are kinda mean. They refused to reschedule me or give me a refund or work with me at all. Which meant i had to start from the beginning all over again and pay for the whole COURSE AGAIN. wasted 6 hours.EDIT : so i come around the second time to start from step 1. I spend another 6 hours taking the classroom part again and then they dropped me from the course at THE END for recognizing me as the person who left a review. they said you left Total Rider a 1-star review due to being unsatisfied we wish you the best of luck finding a training provider. literally what?? total hours wasted. 12 hours.EDIT:I came back to edit my star review after speaking with Mindy about her miscommunication and i am now so disappointed in this businesss owners response on here.TOTAL RIDER: It was then he said he had an emergency after I told him It would be full price. - The first thing i said on the phone was: I had a family emergency and couldnt make the class and the rep rejected that immediately. mindy just said nothing could be done.this student does not have transportation so he needs to get a ride everywhere.- sorry, what does this have to do with anything? so unprofessionalTOTAL RIDER: Jeff told me this student called me a (expletives censored) in class- woah, this is just a lie, ok so this business just blatantly lies to get what it wants. its trying to make me sound irrational to invalidate my review. Ive kept every interaction with this business very professional. including this review.TOTAL RIDER: I spoke with Jorge today and I explained to him that he should have explained his situation with me before leaving a 1-star review. - Your business communicated poorly, Mindy which led me to believe that i was out of $250 even though i had a valid emergency. If youre going to put your business out there to get reviewed dont get salty when people write actual reviews about their experiences with your business. and dont you definitely dont kick them out of a program that they paid for and SPENT 12 HOURS in for being honest on a review. yall suck.
