I will never bring any of my kids to this location. My son was 18 months when I came to pick him up early and found the staff yelling in his face. She had him on the changing table screaming, you always do this, upset that he had a dirty diaper. He is only 18 months, no he is not potty trained!!! I heard screaming from a kid, and her voice raised. I immediately knew it was my son because every parent knows their kids cry. The way my son was screaming, crying, and the look on his face is hard to forget. The fact that all the kids were so comfortable with her voice raised told me this often occurs. With her back against the door, she didnt see me come in, so I witnessed it myself, this worker, IN MY SONS, FACE AS HE LAID ON THE CHANGING TABLE, YELLING AT HIM BECAUSE HE HAS A DIRTY DIAPER!!! The other worker told her, his mom his mom and that was the only thing that stopped her. Im pretty sure if I had not walked in, it wouldve continued.The director told of the situation, and her only reprimand was her moving to a different room, closer to the front desk area, so she could keep eyes on her, and she wouldnt be near my son or that room. However, a few days later, I came to pick him up early again, and when I opened the door to where he was, there she was again, NEAR MY SON, talking to the same lady who told her his mom.I brought my son here, thinking he was safe and protected. However, this was not the case. I even told the director this. In the end, I pulled my son out and placed him somewhere else.As one parent to another, always do a spontaneous check on your kids while in care, and just be warned if you bring them here.

My son absolutely loves Country Home Learning Center. We started going here during the Pandemic so we never got to see his class room or tour the building BUT the staff up front was more than supportive in explaining everything and making sure that we knew who the teachers were, how my son was doing daily and that we had all the information we needed to feel safe and secure. They ensure we know what the kids are learning each month so we can reiterate things at home and always put on special events so the kids feel involved and excited about going to school. They are extremely compliant and safe with COVID protocols which also shows us that they are thoughtful in the way that they care for the children, as well. My son is thriving and we couldnt be happier with our choice in Country Home!

Those place is great. The staff are super nice and professional. My son actually likes going to school here. He is learning so much. Everyday he comes home with a new letter or number he learned. The hours they are open work great for schedule. All around great place!

I have 3 children who attend Country Home and they all LOVE their school and their teachers. The teachers are so warm and loving, and treat my children as if they were their own. My 3 year old son talks about his teachers and the things they’ve taught him all weekend and is ready to go back to schoolevery Monday. I always feel welcome by the front office staff and teachers. Everyone I’ve engaged with are always friendly. I’m very grateful to have found Country Home as our children have learned so much from their teachers and their peers.

My two kids started here during this pandemic and the school is handling it so well!!!! My one year old would only sleep in a bouncer or swing (Which isn’t allowed) because of another daycare she was at and she is now sleeping in a pack-n-play with ease! My four year old is also being challenged mentally and has so much to talk about at the end of every day. They have the same teachers everyday as well which I love and they are very communicative about how their day went. At their other school they were sick all the time and they have been here a month with no illness at all! I love how happy my children have been here.

Country Home is one of the best daycares out there by far! My daughter grew up there, we never had a problem! The front staff was always courteous and professional every time I spoke to them. As for teachers, the staff is amazing and very loving to all of the children.

My Daughter has been at Country Home in North Austin for nearly 7 Months. Shes 3 y.o. and When I get there in order to pick her up, i find all children Playing very happy at the playground. I like the way shes learning and improving her language skills with songs and other fun activities. The facility is always clean and the Staff is nice. I hope they keep working this way

Extremely rude and disrespectful to my wife which is legally disabled. We are strongly considering switching to a child care facility that can successfully and appropriately accommodate my family respectfully to peoples needs/well-being with out intimidation or being chastised unwarranted

First off I have to say that I have had my child in many day cares and country home learning center is by far the best in quality of care. I felt my child got the individual attention he needed as well as the group activities needed for his development. I will definitely have my child enrolled until he starts school. Front desk staff very friendly as well, they show that they care about the children. Great experience 10/10 will do again.

It is a wonderful learning center, my niece is enrolled and has learned many things! There are teachers who speak Spanish which I think is very important to learn several languages. Your staff is very sweet.

I am so grateful that I found this daycare!! This was my first time putting my daughter in daycare and they made it a easy process!! The teachers didn’t judge me for crying lol and calling every 5 minutes to check on her!!I recommend this daycare to any and everyone !!!

My daughter has attended Country Home for 4 years now and my son, who is now 10 months, has been there since he was 6 weeks. Both enjoy Country Home so much that going to school is fun and exciting! The teachers and front staff are fantastic! There is a little more turn-over than what I like but thats any business. Overall, I would recommend this school to anyone who asks!

Country Home is super efficient and provides great security and teaching in children has a highly trained staff from your address to each in the teacher that all are very organized in terms of programs and activities to follow in order to contribute to the best growth Physics and motor skills of children how to keep them in an environment of happiness, peace and harmony. I am sorry but I do not recommend this school. I regret having our son there as long as we did. He learned how to wag his finger and yell No! and that is about it. He went from being well behaved and eager to learn to not wanting to read books anymore and completely disengaged with learning. Communication from the director is terrible and those ladies sit at the front and gossip on a daily basis which is super unprofessional. Our sons teachers would either just leave without the parents having any kind of heads up and the only way we knew is because I never saw them again or there were a couple times we found out about two of his teachers leaving on their last day, when we picked up our son. They have ridiculously high turnover and the favoritism for certain teachers is so obvious. I noticed a pattern with the teachers that were being hired that I will not say but I am just not convinced the majority of them even have very much child care experience. They get you with an impressive tour but youre really not getting what youre paying for. Every inch of those walls are covered with stuff that makes learning distracting and almost impossible. I will say there were a couple teachers we did appreciate but that was not enough to make us stay. Please reconsider before taking your child here.

The Place is great has multiple areas for children to enjoy durimg the day, has a friendly and qualified staff in addition to taking care of our children give him a lot of love. I recommend this place is totally safe.

This was the best daycare/school my son ever attended in Austin. He was here from 2015 to summer 2016 and he developed exceptionally here. He had great teachers.

My kids love this school. Their favorite time is summer. Water park and field trips are their favorites.

Just unprofessional people in general director no type of communication at all disrespectful unprofessional! I’ve seen teachers pull kids in a inappropriate way, I’ve told them and still nothing! don’t great at all when walking in it’s ok I guess for after school but thru out the day no. My son went all day Ms. Marsha is probably so far the best thing there in my opinion, she is awesome a strives to do her best!!!

I dont really know how there are several positive reviews. I think half of of them are fake and written by the directors. I came in and thought the rate they gave us was great considering all they had to offer, but come to find out this place looks nothing like the pictures. Its a joke. This center is FILTHY from top to bottom, every staff member looked very unprofessional and like they didnt want to be there, and the kitchen area where they prepare the food was the dirtiest. I would not recommend having your child attend this school!

I have a warm, welcoming experience every time that I go to pick up my grandson at Country Home, just like family. Talk about friendly, well from the office staff to the teachers, they helped me at first as soon as I arrived, because I wasnt sure where his classroom was located. My grandson loves this place. He has learned so much at this daycare, when he started there towards the end of his pre-K year, he did not know the numbers; after a couple of months going there he knew them all the way to 30. I think he felt very safe and happy. He no longer cried when it was time for him to go to pre-K. He actually loved going to school and told me and still tells me everything he has learned at Country Home. I am so impressed with this daycare. You can definitely tell they know about teaching the kids. If I could rate higher I would for sure. I recommend this place to everyone that wants their kids to be in a safe, learning environment.

My daughter has been at this location for a year and a half. Every teacher and staff member knows her name. She has learned so much from Country Home and wants to go to school every day. She just turned 3 and can count to 20 in English and Spanish. There are so many great things I could say about this school there isnt enough space.

My son has been going here for a year already. I decided that I must write a review about this awesome place.Being a mom of a child with a disability is hard, especially after the child gets disenrolled from 2 consecutive day cares, due to his behavior.My son was diagnosed with ADHD a year ago, and has had many behavior issues at his new elementary school in kindergarten and daycare. I was desperate looking for another daycare, because Im a single mom and need to work. Country Home has been a total blessing for us. They were sweet and understanding from the beginning.My sons pre-k teacher Ms. Donna was excellent. My family and I have an enormous amount of respect for her, and she is a fantastic person and teacher. My son learned sooooo much in her class and he had no behavior problems with her. He even got emotional, when I told him she couldnt be his teacher anymore because he was going to the big school (elementary school). He still goes there after school and gets to see his previous teachers so that makes him happy.I totally recommend this daycare to everyone. Mrs. Betsy in the office is great! She is always on top of everything, and is a great help. She welcomes you with a smile every time and understands you.In addition they have a great variety of cultures there, which I personally love. They have teachers that are native Spanish speakers. Of course, since Im half Hispanic, I loved the fact that my son had the chance to practice his Spanish with other people, and not just me. His elementary school doesnt have bilingual classes.If you want your kiddos to be in a friendly, sweet, and safe environment this is definitely the place to go.

I really like this place, my nephews are there since 2015 and he has leraned so much, much of the theachers speak two languages and that is very good. the have a lot of activities, and they are really professional. The food is healthy and the safety of the childrens is guarantee

Would never go there again! I had my daughter in two days per week at the William Cannon/Escarpment location and they were FANTASTIC! We moved up north and I transferred her. I brought her on the first day and explained that wed just moved and my daughter had been WAY off her schedule and to please call me if she was extra cranky. Im not one of those overly protective moms who wont let my kiddo cry, but she was cranky from staying with the in-laws and moving houses. Just didnt want her sitting there screaming all day. I told both the nursery and front desk staff to PLEASE call if she was cranky, etc... Well, I noticed when i got there that the security pad wasnt working, but I figured that was no big deal.The nursery employee told me they dont like to call parents unless they have to... which - I understand... however; I asked her at least three times to call me... and then asked the front desk staff - again. Well, I went to pick her up around 4:00. The entire office smelled TERRIBLE - and it was sooooo hot in there I immediately started sweating. The nursery was uncomfortably hot. My daughter had sweat running down her back and head. She was FILTHY and covered in food. Thats not even the biggest problem. They gave me an incident report and the nursery worker flippantly told me she busted her lip - KEEP IN MIND - I got NO phone call... When I asked why no one called, she said she didnt know and to talk to the front desk. When I asked the front desk, the employee said they only call if its a big deal... When I told him shed busted her lip, he couldnt locate the incident report. The director was on the phone and I just decided it was too hot and smelly to wait around. I called that evening and told the director Id talk to them in the morning, but that my daughter wasnt coming back. THIS IS THE KICKER - when I went to pick up her stuff, the nursery employee confronted me about why I was taking her out!!!! It was such an uncomfortable situation and Im super disappointed. I really loved the other location soooo much! :( I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

My daughter came here last summer and she absolutely loved it!! Ms. DeShae was her favorite summer camp teacher, all Ayanna did was talk about how much fun she had, and how fun Ms. DeShae is. Unfortunately she couldnt spend this summer here but she misses spending time with her friends. All staff is friendly and greeted my daughter with open arms. I highly recommend this school and the summer camp program.

From my experience working in this place and as I m talking my kids there and working , I would like to share my experience with other her people , I really like to work there , and my kids get more aknowledge , I advice other people to try this place

My child went to this Country home, and one day, a child bit my son in the face. However, the teachers didnt call us, and we didnt get any detailed information from the teachers about the incident. Also, we didnt get any apologies from the teachers or the front desk. My son had some incidents where he got bruises in Country Home, but I cannot accept getting bit in the face. Also, we tried to post a complaint on Country home facebook, but our postage was erased and the whole review posting section was gone. RECOMMENDED: THIS IS A VERY BAD SCHOOL AND THE TEACHERS DO NOT CARE FOR THE CHILDREN!

My child has been at Country Home Learning Center in northwest location near spicewood spring road since we moved to Austin in 2013. He has never moved anywhere before so it was pretty scary for me but the teachers, Ms. Janet, Ms. Batsy and Ms. Lilly made him feel like home. He practically grew up at CHLC. Ms. Amy in accelerated preK program teacher was his second mom and he loved her too much he often confused me with her and started to call me ms. Amy.. and now he is ready to go to kindergarten with complete reading and writing and math skill of 1st grader. I am so proud of my teachers at CHLC and he will continue to be there. The amenities including mini water park, mini golf, veggie garden and indoor gym and soda shop. He loves their summer camp and I honestly do not find any other location for him to go. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy and confident to have my son inThis nursery teachers are super professionals; in this place my. son has learned to interact with other children I love when he tells me of his readings of his incredible games he is really happy to be there every day he has different activities and that is great he loves to paint and do different craft arts and this is a place special that inspires their creativity and their teachers guide their work. It was definitely one of my best decisions to take my son to this special place. I highly recommend him.
