This location is fantastic! The staff is so caring and wonderful. Every morning they welcomed us with a cheerful smile. You can tell how much they love working with children. Our child came home every day happy and cared for. As a parent you have access to monitor your child throughout the day and they even send pictures. When we took our child out for summer, they sent home a Well miss you! card the teachers all signed. So thoughtful. I 100% recommend this daycare.

To keep it fairly simple to allow parents a quick read: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. I apologized to the facility for being that parent however, this is beyond the point of a complaining parent if you see physical unexplained bruises- report it. I have attached a photo of what appears to be fingerprint bruises from the mishandling and lack of training in the toddler room. There is one individual in particular who has continued to pick children up off the ground by one arm. I have personally brought this up to the director 2 times and when my child was bit TWO times they stated we tried to tell your daughter to give to boy his toys back but she didnt. This is the WORST facility and even worse director (Kirstin). She did not call to speak with the parents when we stated we would be pulling her, although the assistant director (who was wonderful, Lauren) stated she will take this very seriously and be giving you a call. Kirstin is inadequate at handling a facility and providing a lack of training to her team members. I have reported this to the proper officials regarding physical abuse and mishandling of children as there is proof. PLEASE do not send your children here and if you do PLEASE PLEASE monitor the cameras. Lastly, when they state in any reviews they are taking manners seriously and we are sorry for this it is not an adequate answer as this has been proven to be inaccurate due to the multiple times this happened and was brought to the directors attention.

My sister RECENTLY put my 3 month old nephew into this school. Throughout the day she was monitoring the camera thru her phone and witness him never changed and never fed over a 3 hour period. When she checked on him during her lunch break expecting him to be okay he was still just in the crib crying hysterically. While the TWO assistants were just walking around looking at their Apple watches. To make it worse one of the assistants walks up to him, grabbed his leg and yanked it then proceeded to pick him up roughly to try to shush him. Finally she decided to change and fed him after the THREE hours. My sister quickly then rushed to the day care from her job. Again this was all witnesses on her phone thru the app. NEVER WILL GO HERE AGAIN. And do not recommend. If it could give it zero stars I would!! So sad.

We love La Petite!!! My daughter is 5 years old and has been here since she was 6 months old. The teachers are amazing!! The Pre-K class she is in now is teaching her everything she will need to be ready for Kinder. I recommend this place to anyone I know looking for a daycare for their kids.

I love la Petite Academy all of my kids have gone here all the teachers there are like family. I only have 1 left in daycare but all my kids always ask to go back to see everyone. Cant thank these ladies enough for all they have done for our family. I travel from Kyle just to drop my son off even though its out of the way he loves it there.

All the staff at this location are wonderful! I’m so grateful that I can trust them to take such amazing care of my babies! My oldest lives for his morning cuddles with Cheryl, who isn’t even HIS teacher, but she’s so sweet to him. All the infant room teachers give the little ones so much love and attention, we love Nora, Laurie, and Karina! My oldests teacher Nancy was so sweet and caring that even though she left, he still talks about reading books with her almost every day! His new teacher is just as wonderful, and he comes home singing different songs that she teaches him every day! Destaney goes out of her way to love on my youngest every day and always helps my mother in law to get the kids loaded when she picks them up! The director Kerstin is always so kind and makes sure everyone is taken care of and that the kids are doing well and happy. We are just so happy to find such a wonderful place to help shape our boys into amazing children. Our family has been bringing the kids here for the last 10years (maybe even longer) and we will continue to do so! Love our La Petite family!!

I absolutely love the teachers at La Petite! They are attentive, interactive, and most of all loving towards my children. I have three kids enrolled and I have yet to have a bad experience with any of their teachers. Miss Lana, Miss Nancy, and Miss Crystle are amazing with my children. Really all of the teachers are great because Ive basically have had a child in almost every class.

My kids loved LaPetite, especially Ms. Destaney, Ms. Cheryl, and Ms. Nora. I felt comfortable leaving them in their care and knew that my kids were learning and getting prepared for Kindergarten. My kids felt cared for and felt like they were special (although I think every kid felt like they were special). They make learning fun and I loved seeing examples of what my kids accomplished or created.

1. Picked up my child early to find him and other children crying and fighting while the teacher was laying down on the slide on her cell phone. I told the director and she had a talk with this teacher.2. My son was physically scared of a teacher there (peed himself 3 times in one day and had nightmares). I asked him what was going on and he told me (not the teacher) that the teacher was a Bergen (a monster from the movie Trolls) because she yells. He is 3 years old and this is how he expresses himself; he also calls girls in dresses princesses (doesnt make them a princess).3. When his teacher quit (he has had 2 teachers quit within the 3 months he was there) and this new teacher who he is afraid of was potentially going to be his permanent teacher, I voiced my concern to the director and she told me that I ALWAYS COMPLAIN. Completely unprofessional. My son will always be a priority to protect and keep safe. If me telling the director how I think a teacher should not be on her phone while having kids under her care or that my son is afraid of this other teacher is referred to as complaining then I dont want that type of establishment taking care of my son.I honestly had better hopes for this facility given its name and the amount of money that I invested.

Not impressed. We transferred our daughter from another La Petite in Oklahoma where we were beyond satisfied with the way they treated. But we had the exact opposite experience here. EVERY SINGLE DAY I picked her up, she was either thirsty and/or hungry. Sometimes so much that we thought she wasn’t given anything the whole day long. The teachers were nice enough to your face but it was obvious they didn’t care at all. But the principal by far was the worst. She would constantly accuse us being out of line when we stated things like “we see she’s sunburn. Why didn’t you use the sunscreen we gave you?” Obviously covering up for neglectful teachers. Beyond rude.Even the day we left, no one cared. We barely even got a goodbye and they didn’t even bother to ask why were leaving. Like most parents there, they already knew how dissatisfied we were and refused to do anything about it.

Both of my boys attended La Petite, Jaxon started in 2007, and Holden started in 2009 and both my boys thrived and truly loved all of their teachers. My boys grew closest to Ms. Destaney Carson and Mrs. Cheryl Ervin. Both boys loved the kindness of Ms. Destaney and enjoyed how much individual attention she gave to each of them. My boys are 8th and 6th grade and Ms. Destaney still keeps in contact with my family, checking on the boys as well as checking on us as a whole. Destaney was always a great communicator and took time to explain if the boys had a hard day and why or if they needed more hugs and kisses she would oblige. She’s always kind, smiling, cheerful and a super positive person. I would always think to hire Destaney on full time as my own personal nanny if that was ever something she wanted, she’s truly an asset. I too adore Cheryl Ervin, she’s a dynamic pre k teacher and she’s honest about your kids strengths and weaknesses she too is big on discipline but she’s just as loving. Cheryl is another great asset she’s been at LPA for a long time so her loyalty is like no one else’s she too has a husband who’s in education so making sure the kids have the fundamentals early are important. Cheryl has raised along with her husband 2 amazing young adults, her daughter a St. Edwards Grad and Softball player and her son is now in college playing basketball. Cheryl is definitely an amazing teacher and parent, I love both ladies and can never thank them enough for loving my boys for the 4.5 to 5 years they attended LPA. Cheryl and Destaney if Richie and I didn’t tell you enough, please know how much we love and appreciate you both. Our boys only have fond memories and we made live long family friends along the way. We may not speak to some families daily but we are always connected and always know we can pick up where we left off. Thanks LPA for a great experience! Remember just because a facility is fancy doesn’t mean the teachers are good, you must pick a place based on who will interact with your child for 8-12 hours a day, 5 day’s a week. Cheryl and Destaney have both been at LPA a long time, my kids are 12 and 14 and they left LPA 6 and 8 years ago respectively and both teachers are still at LPA, which says a lot about LPA and Cheryl and Destaney’s character.

Dirty place, they dont care about kids Hygiene,Lack of child supervision: My husband picked her up the most and several times he arrived to the area and there was no adult supervising the kids, that is just crazy SCARY!!! It’s just an accident waiting to happen, sometimes he had to wait a little to MAKE SURE the teacher KNEW he took our child…that’s also SUPER SCARY!No incident reports: more than once my baby came back with small bruises in her head/face, we were never notified in what happened, we were the ones asking for information or demanding an incident report, many times they just wrote back something like,She never cried we didn’t notice any incident etc…which confirms, kids were not supervised.Sun exposure: They expose the kids to a TON of sunlight/UV. We live in TEXAS!!! Temperatures are supper high! Every day I used to send them a note asking/begging them to put sunscreen on her before taking her out, most times they didn’t, when we picked her up she was as red as a tomato and highly dehydrated, they take kids to play outside even if it’s 95 or higher! unfortunately my kid does not speak much so she was not able to let us know for how long she was out, I spoke up about this concern and even requested her to be kept inside (they took the out at 2:30 or 3 pm) and the answer was “we have not received the order to keep kids inside” like there is no power of decision or common sense in what its best for the kids!, the saddest part was, I sent data, not only a spoiled/crazy mom request, but current facts and data found in the national program for playground safety, skin cancer foundation and UV indexes from United States environmental protection agency with the best schedules to bring kids outside and how important was to KEEP THEM INSIDE between 11am-4pm! Long story short, I escalated with the district manager, nice lady, she told me they have training and info about not bringing kids outside at those times with those high temps, she didnt understand why they were not following these controls, she told me she would make sure they remember this info and to re-distribute it along the school again, I never saw this information anywhere neither received a copy as requested, however teachers stop bringing kids out they told me they did it by their own initiative and not because someone told them so.Teachers: they just don’t care, about 3 really good ones, but they are distributed and they have shifts. They plan an activity and if your child follows its good and if not, oh well what a shame, your kid doesn’t get to learn, what can they do, right? OMG all my family is about teaching, a good teacher role is to make sure they make the kids getting interested on the activity, maybe they forgot, but It’s on the teacher plate to have control of the class and make it attractive enough with their knowledge and tools, for the toddler follow.App: good tool when used properly, in this case, not accurate updates, the worst part is when they mistakenly checked my baby out in the middle of the day, and then didn’t post anything for hours, a couple of times I called to check if she was there because they checked her out/in in a weird time and then didn’t provide any updates on a while. We did experience a ton of BS from this place and have many more details about why this is not a good place, it is a shame because the place has a lot of potential.Note: We run into one of her classmates in a public playground, the parents told me they changed her because she was miserable there, I guess we were not the only ones. we had complains in common and they had some new ones!Anyway, This is from 2018 I only posted it because I saw this place with good reviews and I dont want anyone to experience what we did.

I do not recommend this facility AT ALL.My daughter spent a few months here. Theyre affordable, yes. But that are the exact reason I know that your childs care is NOT an area you want to try to skimp and save money on - because youll get what you came for.Every day, my child came home bitten or bruised in some way. I could tell my daughter was stressed and spent most of her days crying. The teachers were young, and seemed gruff, standoffish and uninterested. One of the biggest pet peeves I had - besides the clear constant lack of supervision considering how often toddlers were hurting themselves and each other - was that not one of the teachers ever bothered to spell her name right. My daughters crafts and work and name tag on her table were ALL spelled differently in random variations of her name.I found this facility to be unacceptable and glad I learned my lesson so quickly.
