Our daughter is in her second full year at St. Mark’s, and our experience so far with the St. Mark’s community has been wonderful. The teachers are fantastic – they deeply care about each student and they make each day an adventure in learning for them. The St. Mark’s faculty and families are close knit, and it’s been great getting to know neighbors and other fellow parents. Our daughter looks forward to going to school at St. Mark’s every day, and she loves her teachers and friends!

We are so lucky to have a wonderful school like St Marks so close to home! We love the teachers who are so caring and nurturing. The school has a great community of families and supporters! The playground is so big and fun that the kids never want to leave after school. What more can I say - both my kids love going to school there every day.

St. Marks is a lovely little old-fashioned neighborhood school w/ a wonderful, welcoming, down-to-earth parent community, a fabulous playground, and truly loving supportive teachers. My kids have thrived at St. Marks and I think the school is only getting better. Music program is wonderful they have music every day and my kids sing all the time. Art is terrific too.

My son is in his fourth year at St Marks. He loves the teachers and the playground--I love the community.You are not a number here--theres no pick up / drop off line. Like many families we walk when we can, and when we drive we park and hand deliver our son to his class, stopping to say hello to other parents, teachers, and children. Parents work together during the year on volunteer days and enjoy coffee together during monthly, class-sponsored coffee talks. This really adds to the family feel of the place.Teachers focus on the social and emotional health of the child. The small size, just over 100 children, and just 16 children per class, means my son is known by students and staff alike. The shaded playground, lined with crops grown by the gardening class, backs onto the greenbelt, providing much-needed time in nature.St Marks is an Austin treasure!

We live in South Austin and attended 2 other schools that were in our price range and then settled on St. Marks. The community is so welcoming and the parents and teachers are VERY cool. Most of the teachers have been there for a long, long time and overall- things just seem to run very smooth. Location is perfect- not in a high traffic area and being so close to the greenbelt- the grounds are very unique- not to mention that the playground is as big as HEB. Both of my kids currently attend St. Marks which is ideal for a preschooler mom. The hours work great our current nap schedule and pickup and drop off are always quick and easy. I highly recommend this preschool. SOUTH AUSTINS little gem! Thanks St. MarksOne more thing: While we were looking for SAES accredited Episcopal Schools- this one was significantly cheaper than the others in and around Austin.

I checked all over South Austin and tried somewhere else first. Eventually we transferred to here once they had an opening. We could not be happier. They have very low teacher turnover and give encouraging attention to my child. While St. Marks does have some aftercare options until 2:30 or so, they are not daycare. The regular school day is 8:30 to 12:30. Oh, and finally: The tuition is low too!
