We absolutely love Childrens Courtyard of Austin! The care and attention that each staff member and teacher provides to our kids exceeds our expectations. We know that our children are loved and cared for every single day. The protocols they have in place have keep our kids safe during COVID. The communication between teachers and parents is so easy with the system they use. We have been going to CCY for over 5 years now and would not think about going anywhere else!

In the past, I’ve used a nanny, babysitter, drop in care and many different daycares around Austin. The children’s Courtyard has been the best experience for my daughter and I so far!! They offer WatchMeGrow, where you get a livestream of your child’s classroom during the day. They provide all meals/ snacks. They have a huge playground and a very nice and clean facility. They are taking temperatures and all staff are wearing masks due to covid. Parents are not allowed in the school due to covid, but they offered a virtual tour which is so nice! Overall, they are worth every Penny. This is the first place I’ve ever been that makes me feel like my child is safe and cared for.

My son has been enrolled at The Childrens Courtyard since he was about 16 months old. It was our first daycare experience, so we were nervous that first week, but the teachers and staff did an excellent job helping us transition and getting him settled. He moved up through two other classrooms and has loved his teachers every step of the way. The staff and teachers are always friendly and welcoming, and they do a good job of communicating with parents (through the app and via email). We love getting updates/pictures/videos via the app during the day, and also like that we can check-in on him during the day via the classroom cameras. They are open long hours and are only closed for a few holidays throughout the year making it super friendly for working families. Another huge perk for us is that they provide all the meals and snacks during the day. Our son loves school because of the Childrens Courtyard, and its been amazing watching his progress over the last year and a half. They even got him potty trained! We definitely recommend The Childrens Courtyard!

My daughter is so happy at the children’s courtyard! It was a huge transition for us since we were new to Austin & new to a daycare in general but the entire staff made the transition for us as easy as possible. Each & every staff member knows all of the parents & children by name. They really care about the children. Ms. Star has been the best teacher! She had my child potty trained within the first two weeks. She really cares about her kids and picks them up when they are sad, pats their backs when they are taking a nap. She sends updates and pictures throughout the day. It’s been a really good experience for my family! The live camera is an added plus when you want to check in on your child to see what they are up to! Love that feature!

Weve had a great experience at Childrens Courtyard in the school aged department under Ms. Blancas leadership. Shes very professional and attentive to the children and shes cares a lot about making it very welcoming and inviting there to both the children and parents. Weve enjoyed Ms. Blanca and her staff Ms. Melissa and Mr. Joey this school year. Well miss them during the summer!Childrens Courtyard - Spicewood Springs School Aged under Ms. Blancas direction and leadership ROCKS!

This place is the best. We struggled at first with a certain teacher but, as soon as my son was moved his current teacher is the best and always knows exactly what my child did all day.. Bad experience with a teacher but, an amazing experience with the actual daycare.

Ms. Blanca in the School Age building does a great job. Whether she knows it or not, she constantly shows she cares about the kids, and listens to them. She also listens to parents, and follows through on anything asked of her. Shes a real asset to the company.

Had our child there for a couple of years. Safe and secure, with plenty of activities. Childcare is never perfect, but Childrens Courtyard was definitely above the rest.

Thank you Alexander and Todd for providing an actual review of The Childrens Courtyard - Spicewood Springs location. Your insight into the level of child care provided by the staff will be very helpful to new parents (hopefully you noted the sarcasm). My wife and I have sent our child to this facility for over a year, and the staff have always been very nice. The teachers are also very sweet to the kids. The parking lot is not ideal for Torchys customers, but please leave your comments related to Torchys Tacos on their own review page.

Thanksgiving is a special time to spend with friends and family. Childrens Courtyard-Spicewood is just that.....family! Today, the staff prepared a wonderful Thanksgiving luncheon for students and families. It was simply beautiful to see students enjoying their lunch with their parents and grandparents. My daughter was thrilled to have her parents there with her. Thank you CCY-Spicewood for providing a memorable event for all the kiddos. Your campus is Top-Notch! Kudos to everyone, especial Angela Hutson (Director).

I have to admit it that the location of this school is perfect. Thats the reason I let my son stay here for almost one year. However, the experience for both my son and my family here is terrible!!! They change teachers, rooms frequently for your kid without any notice. Thats not the correct way for make your kid feel secure away from parents. They let your kid cry out, and sit on wet/dirty diaper. I usually pick up my son with so much rash on his bottom and clothes wet with tears! I feel so sorry letting my son stay so long with these guys. They are not friendly to the parents either!Bottom line, Avoid this school if you can!

Weve only been here for about a week, and absolutely love it so far. I read reviews of tons of places and reread the reviews for this place at least half a dozen times, trying to decide where to go. I want any other parent out there searching like I did to know that this is a great place to send your kids. You will be at ease leaving your child with the super friendly, helpful, sweet, and caring people at this facility. My son is in Pre-K and loving it. The fact that I get multiple updates with pictures per day on what hes doing, eating, his bathroom habits, when he falls asleep and wakes up is beyond fantastic. Couldnt be happier so far!Its such a bummer that the people who cant read while parking for Torchys get to leave poor reviews and ratings.

I entirely agree with L Zhang. This place is awful. My son attended this place for about 8 months, since he was 9 months old. There is so much turnover, it is hard to keep track. What annoyed me most was that he was in a different room everyday when I went to pick him up. Teachers are very uncommunicative. They dont have a clue what the kid was up to do if you ask them for a daily update. All they say is that they just got there, and the teacher before them has already left. Again, like other reviewer, I picked up my son multiple times with dirty diapers, and horrible rash. I know finding a good day care is hard, but this place is so much worse than what I had imagined.

I parked in the area for less then 10 minutes to get tacos by time I return to my car, it was towed. It was hard to believe that this happen, because there were many open parking spots. Also, as I talk to the faculty members they were extremely unprofessional and when I asked for help, they sarcastically told me to go to torchys, because I was their customer.I understand if the area was full, but it. Also it was within 20 minutes for the tow zone to end.Based of the the performance how they treated me in my situation. I would imagine that they perform in teaching is subpar. And would go out of their way to get their pay from parents.

We recently had to switch day cares from Childrens Courtyard to a different Austin chain. Its only been 5 days at the new location, but I really miss this place. One thing I didnt realize until we moved is how large the classrooms are at CCY - plenty of room for my little one to stretch and explore! Here is a snippet from our notification that we were leaving:Hello,I have recently accepted a new position which will mean Preston will transfer to a daycare closer to home. We are so sad to be leaving Childrens Courtyard as Preston simply loves it there. Hes never once cried when Ive dropped him off and I think Ive only seen him crying twice when I picked him up.The crafts that he does and the art that he creates is heart warming and I love you guys for enriching his days in this way.Hell be sure to miss his outings on the stroller, his best friend, Parker, and of course all of his wonderful teachers. I dont think he will miss nap time, though :)Thank you for being a wonderful place for a first time mom to entrust her childs safety and enrichment.

Totally unreasonable parking policy. Dont park here or their ON-SITE, BUZZARD-LIKE tow truck driver will tow you in less than 60 seconds.
