I am a former Harmony Employee, I love these schools more than everything. I am definitely recommending these schools. Its all getting better than before. Harmony Staff members always dedicated teachers and admins. There are great family environment. Keep your kids over there or enroll them to Harmony. Trust me.

I have attended this school for about 3 years, and I will honestly say its the most unorganized school Ive ever seen in my life. My parents, nor I, never know whats going on. The teachers barely ever know either. Some teachers here are the best teachers Ive ever had, while others load on homework and dont know how to teach. The school puts on a face to look great, but when youre an actual student here, then you would see it isnt all it says it is. For example, its Harmony School of Political science, correct? In all my 3 years I havent taken or been offered a single class about political science, and recently learned they dont even offer it! Almost all my friends here hate it. There are few good things here, and this is a great environment for elementary and maybe middle school, but dont send your child here if they are in high school. If you do, and want to transfer out they will mess up your credits. They also only offer Turkish, German, and Spanish. Overall, I would definitely NOT recommend this school. (The school is built with Styrofoam)

My daughter at 2nd grade, and son at K - overall very satisfied. Previous years the traffic at the drop-off and pick-up times was really a problem, but they restructured the lanes and started using smart-applications - and it is much better now! So thanks a lot for this.I believe they are really focused on our childrens success. Certainly, there is always room for improvement and school staff is very open for suggestions and parent involvement.

My husband and I feel this school is head and shoulders above my childs previous public elementary school. Harmony is structured and academically rigorous. My child is in Harmonys after school tutoring program for math and science. The other elementary school never offered tutoring. My sons previous elementary school was really just a day care. Harmony is a school that cares about academics!

I personally love this school. I am an 8th grader. There is more ups than down. Great teachers and admin. There is an over population of kids but you can look past it. Some kids are very driven and smart. A great STEAM school!

I think diversity is what makes the school so special. The schools academic excellence is the result of hard working and caring teachers and staff. Commitment to the family and the community is the big part of Schools identity.

These people dont pay their vendors! They are funded by taxpayers money, yet they wont pay two invoices totaling $190.50 dated Feb. and March. They say the check was cut July 1st. Cant they afford a postage stamp? Im sure they cant after paying themselves hefty salaries on taxpayers dime! All i have gotten from them is lies, false promises, and lame excuses like you arent the only one trying to collect If these people have no intention of paying me, i call that stealing, and they have the gall to call themselves a school of excellence! They are pathetic at best!

The school a warm feeling and kids are well taken care of. It is an academically aligned school. There is no a direct yes or no but public schools have a little of it all -Sports and academics etc. vs this school has exceptional focus on academics; also while providing all exposure needed in sports for different age groups. A whole variety of clubs: music, chess, math, etc. The school has an active parent participation and depending on the childs learning capability he/she is challenged in TAG and other learning methods to grow. Our son has been here 4 years and we have been a very happy FAMILY for being part of HSPS. We love the teachers and find the school aligned to what we wanted for our kids building blocks and learning curve. Thank you HSPS

I have been attending Harmony School of Political Science since I was in 8th grade (I am a Sophomore now) and I can honestly say it has its ups and downs. While I like the schools diversity and some of the classes are great, other classes push us way too hard to a point that we dont even know what were doing anymore. We just get random tests here and there and they are over something that we never got to review. And I personally was out for 2 classes and did not receive the test review and still had to take the test. Also, as a girl, I am getting pulled out of class because I am wearing skinny jeans. They say that a tighter pant is distracting to the male students. They have not pushed the fact that skinny jeans are not allowed the whole 3 years I have been attending, why now? Why are they teaching us young women that our bodies are a distraction? I will say that Harmony is great if you want to be pushed to extreme limits, but not if you actually have a life and dont want to sit around and study all day.

I like the high academic level, people doesnt like to be pushed academically speaking, this is the first reason why I send my kid to this school. My kid comes from a public school and which is far worse than this school. We have been in this school for 3 years and we loved. There are bad things like in any place but they are not worth to mention because this school has more good than bad.

I currently attend harmony and i can honest say that this is the worst experience you will ever have in school. Being a high school student my education in this school is very lacking. We dont learn anything and the environment in this school is very bad. I advise anybody that your kids should not attend this school.

I am currently attending HSP Austin, This is My third year enrolled to the school and i absolutely love the diversity around the school. The education is great, the teachers are good at their jobs and the students get along and know each other well since the school is in a smaller community. I started going to HSP when it was first built, in the eight grade, and they have come a long way from No gym to a wonderful, big, and roomy gym AND two separate cafeterias. As a future first graduate (Class of 2016) of this school I am very happy with the school and enjoy attending it.

I am currently attending harmony school of political science and i can honestly say that this school is awful. The food here literally bounces, the physical education here is terrible, the education does not actually push you, there is no interaction between the students and the teachers whatsoever. This school repeatedly gives you tests and the grading criteria is awful.

I was part of the second graduating class here, and spent all 4 years of high school here at HSPS. You rely more on your fellow students than you do your teachers. Thats not to say that there arent good teachers, trust me there are. But that doesnt make up for the others. Every student here can give you at least 3 things wrong with the school off the top their heads without giving a second thought. PE was never given to me until SENIOR year. And in most schools they have athletics period where if you play a sport you have a period where you practice. Well not in this case. We had to share the gym! A varsity team for basketball had to share the gym with other kids that were being loud, and other teams from sometimes other sports. Usually with these schools its just about screwing those loose bolts. But in this case, some of the bolts have fallen out and nobody is going to either replace or do anything about it. Also the food bounces. I kid you not! We might as well have been eating MREs. I had a lot of good memories and times here. I just hope it can change for the better where kids actually want to go here.-K.J.

Hello i am a parent that has a son that attends here at this Harmony. But i do have to say this schools teachers are terrible including these teachers Mrs Meck and the dean Mrs hudgson . My son had to literally sit out in the cold waiting to be let in the front with the other kids shivering cold i have seen teachers walk by with their kids knowing that the other kids are cold. They dont even think about letting the kids in the lobby to wait to be let in but instead they chose to neglect their students and leave them outside when they know winter will be coming around.

This is probably the worst school i have ever been in my life. the uniform is ugly they give us Chromebooks to use and they block everything. Even google is block i was like are you serious and the environment is terrible and if you get your phone taken up you have to pay 10 dollars to get it back. From what i seen that is not legal. You are buying your property back the school cant do that.

The worst decision I ever made was to enroll my kids into this school. Their methodology of teaching is archaic and their data is misleading. They lure parents, who are looking for an improved version of public education, into believing that they are different. On the contrary, they are an example of the worst public school--backwards and behind on education.

I feel very comfortable to leave my little daughter to HPS. I believe, keeping the doors locked, and having a teacher escorting to parents in the buildings are necessary implementations after having horrible events, such as the one in CT.

My child is in pre-k in a public school and we are excited to join HSPS for the next school year. We have always met with parents who are very impressed with this school. They were also questining the cons -like too many rules - But they were very pleased after all. Good student good comment !!! People should judge theirself first.

I liked the school. I have a a boy in 5th grade! I love the way they teach! I dont have problems with the discipline .I like when they push you for more! The teachers in fifth grade are amazing and very accessible when you need a respond about your worries. I saw other comments about the uniform and cell phone and chromebooks.well....well if you dont want uniform go to a public school..uniform give the students equality! The school is for learn not for keep texting or checking facebook..and if your chromebooks are block for other thing probably is because you need your chromebooks for learn subjects about your courses and not for other purposes ! Really!! The best education we can get is not depending about the school is about your goals in you life and how hard we can work for get it.
