We love Emler swim school and Miss Lexi! We started taking our daughter to Emler when she was 7 months old, and shes now 2. The exposure to water and lessons that Emler have provided her, has fostered her love for swimming. As parents, it gives us peace of mind to know that she is also learning water safety skills. My 18 month old has been taking lessons with miss Lexi for several months now and we couldn’t be happier! She’s a great instructor who genuinely cares about the babies. Along with learning water skills, my daughter also gets excited when she sees her class. Would highly recommend Emler and even more so, Lexi!

All of the staff at Emler Swim School have been so professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in the progress of the students. Their swimming classes incorporate songs, playtime in the water and really make it fun for babies and toddlers. Our daughter was really nervous of the water and struggled when there was a change in teachers when the new semester started. They always listened to our concerns and provided feedback for what we could do while in the class. The management at Emler also worked with us to have separate one on one bonding sessions to help our daughter through the process and suggested switching to a different class. Emler gave great advice and encouraged us to continue with lessons to help overcome the uneasiness and fear of going under the water. She now looks forward to swim class and is much more comfortable in the water. Ryan has especially been great with his customer service. He stops by during swim lessons to say hello, and checks in to see how we are doing. You will definitely feel that Emler cares about your child!

Incredible place, awesome instructors. I think we started out with Miranda and ended up with Ryan. The kids have learned and improved with different types of swim strokes. Their confidence in the water has improved with leaps and bounds. Everyone on staff is very professional, detailed, and very skilled. 2 thumbs up!!!

My daughter loves swim class! Since weve started classes, shes gone from being afraid of the water and barely wanting to get into the pool to now begging to go to class and swim. She loves her teacher, Mr. Ryan, and he is so patient and kind with her in the water. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Daughter went from the inability to hold her breathe, to swimming underwater for ten seconds. This only took 16 weeks. I really recommend them over the YMCA. The extra money provided more individualized care and much better results.

All of my three children have worked with Mr. Ryan at some point. He has been easy to work with and an outstanding teacher. My son even pretends to that he is Mr. Ryan during play time at home!

This school makes a great first impression the moment you walk in the door! You will notice how clean the facility is which is a huge priority for me. The staff are all smiling and happy to be assisting you but I have to call special attention to a staff member named Cat. On my visit, I had several questions and she was kind and professional in the way in which She addressed my concerns. Im sure Im not the only one to say that she is one of the main reasons I chose this school.

Emler Swim School has been an absolutely amazing place for our daughter to learn to swim. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and truly cares about making this a positive, enjoyable experience for both the swimmers and their families. Our daughter started in Waterbabies and has worked her way up to Advanced Aquatots. We cannot sing enough praises about her teacher, Mr. Ryan, whos been consistently with her over the past year. He is so incredible with her and the other kids, recognizes their capabilities and translates that into his teaching in the water. Our daughter has made such great progress with him and she absolutely adores him. We love him so much that we try to get in his class each semester! If you want your child to learn to swim in a fun, safe, and creative environment, then Emler is the place for you, just as it will continue to be for our family. We love you, Emler!!❤😊❤

Every semester we think we have the best coach and are sad to move on to a new coach, but every coach weve had is phenomenal! Our absolute favorites are Ryan and Sierra! Petra and Cat are amazing, as well, and always greet us by name! Its incredible how personal it seems when they see so many swimmers each day! We highly recommend Emler - Oak Hill for new swimmers!

Ive been taking my daughter here since she was very young and shes become very adept in the pool. The way that Elmer teaches children to be both good swimmers as well as being safe in the water, gives me a lot of reassurance on my childs safety on water. And she has grown from being afraid of the pool, to counting down the days to swim day!Shes had two excellent teachers: Ms Sophia and Mr Ryan. I cannot compliment them enough. On days when my daughter has been afraid or upset, theyve both been so calm, patient, and friendly.

We LOVE the Oak Hill Emler Swim School! We’ve done different classes for my kiddos and they both LOVED them. Taking a break right now from outside activities but my oldest can’t wait to go back! The staff are so helpful and friendly! They take extra precautions and have thorough cleaning processes to ensure the safety of the swimmers and staff. They are so understanding and helpful if your current class schedule isn’t working and they helped us get into a class on a different day/time. We will continue to bring our swimmers here! One is just about to start water babies and the other is 4. They have a perfect class for whatever level your swimmer is at!

We have been coming to Emler for a couple of years now. My daughter Olivia absolutely loves it. She was scared of the water and they all made her feel comfortable. I am so impressed with how much she had learned. She is confident in the water and their hard works shows. The whole team has been amazing. They make Olivia feel special when she comes in each day by greeting her by her name. I definitely recommend this school!

Both my kids love Emler Swim School Oak Hill. We have been there every week for the past 2 years and our kids have learned how to swim and have also gained a lot of independence. Mrs Petra and Mrs Cat are the best, always friendly, helpful and welcoming. We have had several teachers and all of them are exceptional. My son loves Mrs Samantha who is a super engaged young lady. We absolutely love bringing our 2 & 4 year olds here every week for swim lessons! The facility is amazing- so clean and careful, but the most impressive aspect is the staff. Our kids adore Samantha, Ryan, Jenny, & Fallon. Theyve taught them so much and I cant believe how accessible swimming has become at such a young age. Our daughter has been a Water Baby since she was 6 months old. We had one semester with Miss Sofia and one semester with Mr. Ryan. Now at 14 months, she is able to swim for 10 seconds under water! She is always looking forward to going to class to see her swim friends and high five her instructors. I know these lessons have helped her IMMENSELY to get her comfortable in the water and to even give me a bit of ease when she is around bodies of water. I really think we have a full time swimmer on our hands with this one--thanks to our great teachers with their great attitudes & patience :)

Just love this place! We are longtime clients who used to go to Westlake. The new location is so convenient, and has the same friendly, skilled teachers and staff. I take my youngest baby there are felt very comfortable. Personalized instruction, even in group classes. The kids love to go. Clean facility and superb customer service.

Emler’s has done an amazing job if introducing my 4-year-old daughter to the water in a safe and fun way. Ms. Kerri is the highlight of our lessons! She is exciting, imaginative and so fun . Even when the water used to be scary and new to my daughter, Ms. Kerri made her feel safe and she has never been upset or scared to swim. Weve been coming to Emler since my daughter was 18 months. Shes almost 3 now and she loves the water and learning to swim! The instructors are great, you can tell they really love the kids. The staff keeps the facility super clean and are careful about following covid prevention protocols (staff and instructors wear masks, class sizes are limited and spaced out, etc). Ive felt very comfortable being at the facility with my daughter, its one of the few activities weve kept up during the pandemic. Highly recommend to parents looking for something fun to do with their littles, and teach them an important skill, too!

We have been so impressed with Emler! We elected to take a break from team sports during the pandemic and, as a result, our daughter has become a confident, strong and enthusiastic swimmer. Her teacher, Ms. Shania, encourages her to explore new skills at each class. Our daughter never wants class to end! The Oak Hill staff is professional and attentive, both in person and when we call or email to schedule makeup classes. The facility is exceptionally clean and all COVID protocols are very apparent. We are very much enjoying being a part of the Emler family!

We started our almost 11 month old son at Emler almost 5 months ago and he has loved it ever since! Our family has felt safe with precautions taken and the staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. Our water babies teacher Shania has been wonderful and we have seen our son not only develop his skills but enjoy every second of his time in class! We have been going to Emler for two months now and my son loves it. He is 13 months old and he can already hold his breath underwater for 5 seconds! He is so much more confident in the water and always looks forward to class. He gets excited when we arrive and put on his bathing suit. Our son Mir and us just love this place ! We had two different teachers for different age and both are super nice and knowledgeable. Ryan was especially helpful with introducing diving for our son. Our son loves it at emler so we signed up for the second lesson.

The managers of this place Catherine and Petra are just phenomenal - they are always very helpful in accommodating our needs. One time my daughter did not want to get into water and Petra herself got into water with her and helped to get accustomed to the a new instructor and to the environment. She used gentle techniques without pushing or forcing my daughter into water. Catherine goes above and beyond when informing about class changes or teacher subs; always sincerely friendly and professional, which is not that easy to find these days.

We love oak hill emler! Everybody is super friendly and attentive to the kids needs. My son has made great progress in his lessons and he especially loves the instructor Sergiy. He’s very friendly, patient and personable.

Wonderful teachers, clean and friendly facility, an all-around wonderful place to help your kid learn to swim. We are in the water babies class and it is super fun and engaging. My son loves the water and will no doubt be swimming fan for life thanks to Emler!

Our little guy has been swimming with Emler for 2.5 yrs so far (since he was ~ 6mos). The management is great and all the teachers have all been wonderful, especially Ryan who really challenges them which boosts their confidence. We plan to continue swimming here for many more years to come!

My daughter started at Emler Oak Hill at 13 months old and was afraid of water. Within months, she was jumping in and swimming with her head under, holding her breath for 7 seconds. Then all of a sudden, she refused to put her head under. She continues to participate in class but figured out a way to keep her head above water. The coaches and staff worked with her patiently for a couple months while challenging her just enough to where she continued to want to go to class but got her back to swimming with her head under. She LOVES going to class!!

Great teachers and my daughter loves coming here. It’s made her comfortable in the water, which was no easy thing!

My daughter and I have participated in the Bathtime Babies (3-6 months) and Water Babies (6+ months) classes and we have loved it! The instructors are caring professionals who are passionate about keeping our babies safe in the water. My daughter loves the varied activities and manipulatives available to play with! Careful COVID-19 procedures are in place and everyone I have encountered--front desk staff, instructors, management, and clientele--are respectful and compliant. Honestly, being that this is one of the only regular outings my daughter and I have faithfully made on a weekly basis during this pandemic--Emler feels like family.

This facility was recommended to me by a friend. Let me say, the staff are great. My experience is uncommon, but I want to share it in case it helps other parents make more informed decisions than I did— I think the facility could change just a couple simple things and likely broaden their customer base.Emily was extremely thoughtful when she noticed I was leaving the pool with my daughter, who was in tears. My daughter has ADHD and sensory issues with certain types of loud noises. When we arrived for our first class, my daughter was excited but nervous. She’d had lessons last summer at preschool and did great. We came early to watch, get acclimated and chat with the staff prior to the lesson. I didn’t realize how small and loud the facility is. It actually made me a bit nervous too. Everyone was jammed into a small pool; lots of staring eyes. It’s quite intimidating in noise level and appearance. The pool area was so loud, my daughter was too terrified to even put her feet in the water.I’d recommend this school inform parents of the noise level, screen potential students for things like sensory issues, inform parents of the busier or calmer class times so parents can make a bit more of an educated choice on classes. I do understand that we are an unfortunate minority, not a lot of kids have sensory issues. It’s never stopped us from doing the things we set out to do, so it was really disappointing for me as a first time customer to have no other options but to leave the pool without getting in the water.I’d say this facility needs to work on making the environment more calm and inviting. Especially with it being so small with a LOT of bodies packed into such a small room.—I came back to edit my original review. I’ve bumped up to 4 stars from 2. Emily worked with my daughter for two lessons privately to get her acclimated to the environment and boost her confidence before working her into the class. The facility did get some sound absorbing material for Saturday’s when the noise level is off the charts. It does help a bit, so thank you Emler for working so hard to include us and keep us as a customer.

The teachers here are phenomenal. Theyre smart, kind, and knowledgeable. The facilities are lovely, and its an overall wonderful place to bond with my son as he learns about water safety. I think both of us are gaining a lot of confidence!

We had Cam and she was AWESOME! I do not have enough good things to say about her! She was so kind and happy and made my daughter feel instantly calm in the water. The pool was crystal clean and everyone on staff was just the kindest. This place is an excellent place for beginner swimmers!

Mark and Petra run a fun, safe and effective swim program. We have been an Emler family for 4 years. Both of our children are strong swimmers and love the water. Two additional notes: Petra has always been super-accommodating when work/life has required us to change our scheduled lessons. And Coach Emily, almost overnight, transformed our eldest into one of the fastest swimmers in her age group. We are huge Emler fans!

The location offers just that, a swimming pool, changing rooms, showers, a place for parents to monitor their kids. The advantage of this location is that its brand new = clean facilities.What makes this place special is the staff, especially Emily, one of the Deck Managers. She has done a wonderful job in welcoming my 3 year old. Her expertise are clearly impressive as shes been able to find a way to convince my boy to jump in - no pun intended here. :-) (He was scared of the water, did not want to go at all) By the end of the lesson (his second) he was holding his breath, going under the water, learned how to make bubbles and....wanted to stay longer, after the lesson was over.Im a happy customer!

We love bringing our daughter to Emler! And she loves learning from her teachers. Emily is an awesome manager and teacher that weve had the pleasure of getting to know this past year. Her current teacher, Samantha, is excellent with communicating with kids in a way that makes lessons fun!

We love Emler! We joined years ago at the Westlake location, which we loved. We decided to try out Oak Hill and love it as well. The facility is clean and new and the teachers are wonderful. They make swimming really fun for my kids. I really like that the Oak Hill location has changing rooms in the pool area, so that you don’t have to leave the heated area. Parking is also a lot easier here than at the Westlake location. The staff genuinely care about the children and families and are willing to go the extra mile to help families achieve swimming success.

We have been coming to this Emler since the Fall. We are thrilled with the staff and our experience. A huge shout out to Taylor and Petra for being so accommodating, friendly and continue giving my boys top-notch customer service.

Elmer Oak Hill is fantastic! All the staff are excellent and Petra always works with our schedule to make sure both of our kids what they need, when they need it. Our kids have learned so much from Emler - We love Emler Oak Hill!

My grandchildren have been taking swim lessons on and off for the past two years. They love it and they always love their teachers. They were very apprehensive about learning to swim, but their first teacher put them right at ease and now its a highlight of their week. I cant say enough good things about the staff at their location in West Lake and this new location in Oak Hill. Theyre the best.

We had an incredible experience with instructor Sofia in the daily class. Our five-year-old wouldn’t fully submerge her head under water and was dependent on a Puddle Jumper before starting. On her second day she was starting to swim and on her fourth lesson she was swimming short distances with her head underwater using her arms in a freestyle motion. She’s also learned how to recover from “falling” into the pool by safely turning around underwater and swimming to the side. Thrilled with her results.

Emler has been such a great experience for us and our little guy! They have a very safe but fun environment for kids to learn great skills! Well definitely be back for more classes.

My 17 month old daughter and I attended our first class here this morning, and wow, I am impressed! We were warmly greeted by name by the sweet girl at the front desk, who went by Cat, and she had obviously checked the schedule and was aware we’d be arriving around that time. She gave us a quick tour, answered all of my questions and made us feel very comfortable. The facility is beautiful and had everything we needed- restrooms, rinse showers, change rooms, cubbies to hold our belongings, and security cameras to keep watch of said belongings. My daughter is in the Waterbabies class and we had so much fun. Sofia and Taylor are her instructors and they were awesome. Before enrolling I had mentioned that my daughter doesn’t enjoy having water on her face, and that I wasn’t sure how she’d react to dunking in the pool. Sofia had read the notes placed in my daughter’s file and was well aware of my concerns and addressed them at the beginning of the lesson. I really appreciated this. Thank you to everyone at Emler and I am very excited for our lessons this Fall! Exceptional customer service!

My kids were only sad because they couldn’t come back the next day. Aubrey did a great job running my kids through the different exercises and safety drills, the kids had a great time, and the whole place was extremely efficient. If you want your kid to learn the basics and get out of their puddle jumpers for real, this is the spot.

My grandson had a fear of the water but after two weeks he was more confident. I cant say enough about the staff and teachers and their patience and encouragement. I plan to enroll him next summer to continue his swim experience. Thanks to all.

We love Emler, and this location is great! Very spacious and clean. The teachers are all great, and we especially love Ms. Emily. She helped our Charlie finally learn how to kick! She is extremely patient and positive!

The only complaint I have is I wish the instructor introduced herself before starting the class. It was very loud and seemed a little disorganized at first. But my son loved the class and it was a great first lesson to get him comfortable with the water and the instructor. He can’t wait to go back next week

The facility and equipments in this location are new, clean, and neat. The front desk and instructors/staff here are very friendly and nice, they answer all the questions, and explain everything.
