This high school was founded in 1965. The students are a diverse, multicultural and unique melting pot blend. These are hard working great young men and women who are the future! Congratulations to the 2017 graduating class! This is the brand new West High School sign just finished on 5/31/2017 in time for graduation. I took the pictures and 16 second video before the last of the construction fencing was removed on 6/1/2017.

Was only able to attend for a short time. This school gets a bad rep from other schools but my time here was great and everyone was nice. Just dont look for trouble because youll find it eventually.

I graduated from West High in 2017 and my experiences here were great. I was involved in a lot of different things and I believe that is what makes any high school experience good. I never had a problem with teachers or staff. It all just depends on how you treat the teachers first. The only thing I could complain about is the couselors not being that great but other than that I enjoyed my 4 years here.

Campus police is amazing. He does his job yet is very respected by me.

This school has the most un efficient employees they take their time3 hours wait to enroll one student ?I really hope someone from kern district actually take their time to read this complaints Ofice lady (short curly hair) is the most lazy employee. Her scheduled is 7:30am to 12:00 pm i showed at 11:50 am and she said .window closes at 12:00 is she not getting paid ?Please do something with this people !All i want is to enroll my student to school.

Love the staff and teachers. We have a real good music program as well colorguard and a fantastic NJROTC program. Award winning athletic programs and academic programs. If youre looking for a great high school, then go to WHS!!! GO VIKINGS!!!

I live outside the school and its impossible to sleep in because of the stupi high school band banging on the bass drum, sounding like I’m in a game of Effin jumanji!

There is a lot of drama and Im a freshman that shouldnt be afraid to look at somebodies way and get yelled at saying I had a dirty look plus theres mold in the food
