I highly recommend Beyond Martial Arts. It is safe during the pandemic as students stand 6 feet apart. It is so much more than just Martial arts. I love the character building and can already see a difference in my sons behavior at school and at home.

I used to go for 2 or 3 years and i enjoyed it and now i am going back i would love to see how much they have changes since i was there.

My daughter started here about a month ago. Since then, I can see a change in her confidence. She still has a ways to go, but many of the things they discuss in class, shes doing at home. Im looking forward to seeing her grow and learn!

BMA is a great place to teach your little one about respect, discipline, and self confidence. In the short 5 months my 6 year old has been coming here we have already seen changes in his attitude and self confidence. He is always excited to go and constantly reminds us when his training days are. The staff here are top notch and really strive to make everyone as comfortable and relaxed as they can. I cant wait to see how much more my son can learn and progress and to eventually bring his little brother in on the fun too.

Great environment, one of my favorite things about BMA is the life skills they implement. The motivation is great! My son does not get bored with the class.. His confidence is stronger everyday.. Teacher is amazing he is focused and pays attention to all the kids!..

This studio is amazing. My two children have thrived under the caring instructors. My kids love their classes. As a parent I am thrilled about the focus being more on the student as a whole. In class, in school, and at home students are encouraged to have respect for their parents, teachers, and elders. My kids liked it so much I decided to join as well. As an adult student I learn the discipline as well as self defense, and more. I highly recommend this studio to everyone.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My son absolutely loves it!! Miss Jean and Master Reymoore are the absolute best!!! Its all about the kids and their experiences. The training and the practice sessions are geared at the skill level of the child and gradually build from there. Its always fun for the kids and just the right level of intensity! Are you ready for the best tag team in the world. Well Bakersfield you have them. I love these two masters of there craft. The time i spent with these two in Glendale was the best time of my life. When i started i was 240. In less then a year i was down to 205. Not only Bakersfield that you have the best instructors but the best workout, self defence, confidence builders in the world. I started from scratch not knowing a lick of self defence. The little time i spent there with the great energy JK offers i came out feeling i was a black belt in one year.. Lol. That being said Bakersfield you are in good hands when it comes down to the JK family and the martial art. Its a very loving family environment great for young adults and there parents if there looking for a great fitness program... Ill always love my JK family... Bakersfield take advantage while you can..

My son started here back in December, and within a couple of months, everyone saw an improvement in him. The Masters truly care for their students. What the students learn with them, is way more than martial arts, its life skills. Enrolling my son at Beyond Martial Arts was the best thing I could have done for him.

This is quickly becoming my sons favorite part of the week. They teach the kids to focus, discipline and martial art. They offer so many free workshops for members and their families. We love it here.

I have known them almost 20 years and have seen them compete and demonstrate in endless amounts of events and competitions. They hold many years of experience under their belts and best part is, they love passing it down! Master Rey is passionate and always gives his 110%. Master Reymoore and Master Andre do an excellent job of making the studio a family orientated place while giving care to make sure each student does their best. My son as been training at Beyond Martial Arts for over a year and will continue to do so.

I learned about defending against a knife during my first private lesson. There is definitely as much concern for students who seek self defense practice as students who practice competitive taekwondo. I plan to schedule another private lesson.

I am currently a student at the studio here. My sister and I both are and we both have improved I would say. We both have learned many things here and thanks to the masters, I have learned to defend myslef and to be more confident.

BMA is a fantastic place all around. Excellent staff and master. Our kids have being going there for 6 months and our experience has nothing but awesome. Our kids had no previous Taekwondo coaching and they have progressed beyond our expectations. Master Reymoore is great with kids and goes above and beyond to make the class fun for kids and even for parents. Ms Jeen is awesome too. Highly recommend this place!!

In case my last review doesnt appear, Master Reymoore was great. He taught me how to properly execute a knife disarm and how to use kicks to fight at a distance. Im actually going to schedule another private lesson with him today.

They teach discipline and respect in a fun, friendly and family oriented environment that has been a joy for the whole family to experience with our child.

Probably one of the best decisions we have ever made was to sign our son up for taekwondo classes at BMA! Master Reymoore really invests his time into each and every child in order for them to succeed! I absolutely love watching how he treats the children, he is so passionate about TKD and it really shows! My son says he wants to be a scientist and a master when he grows up. He is a typical little boy full of energy and going to BMA 3 days a week keeps us sane at home! I absolutely recommend anyone to try out BMA, they treat you like family!

This place is amazing! Master reymoore and Master Adrey are incredible, they are great with the kids! Its family run and you can tell that from day 1! My son has learned so much and changed so much because of what this place offers! My son is more respectful, stronger, smarter, more flexible and could defend himself if needed. Im going to be honest. I was hesitant to sign my son up because growing up I experienced places that did things to just take my parents money and not really teach anything, I found the total opposite at Beyond Martial Arts. If you get anything from this review its DONT HESITATE! This place and the Masters proved there are good people out there who deeply care about the sport and passing it on to the next generation. Masters Reymoore and Adrey are amazing! Our boys have truly thrived under their instruction. The name says it all, Beyond Martial Arts is dedicated to each childs growth and well being inside the studio, at home, and even at school.
