Govans is amazing and Baltimore is so lucky to have this church! How much work everyone does here to help those in need in Baltimore and abroad. And how open and loving Govans is to everyone!

Govans embodies love in its many facets: welcome, inclusion, support, faith, resilience, and resistance against intolerance. For our kids when they were young, it provided a fun, diverse circle of friends with whom to explore issues of faith and growth. The music group and worship style provided entertainment and a chance to explore performance and celebration of spirituality. As adults, the discussions were stimulating, and the friendships have endured. Overall, it provided our family a space for us to learn, participate, and commune.

They are very kind and generous. They are involved in the community a lot. The Pastor, Tom, is very cool!

I am a member of SHEKINAH GLORY REIGNS and we are a small congation. We use one of the rooms at GOVANS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. I have felt nothing but the utmost welcome by everyone I have met. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so kind.

I visited this church for over a month. I am a transgender woman and I have never felt anything but welcome there. I was nervous because I had to leave my previous church after my transition, but at Govans I felt like I came home as myself.
