Hope Academy is the best school I have ever went to. I started here at Hope in April of this year 2021 and it has treated me well. I am very comfortable and likable here. Teachers here are caring and very understanding of your needs and they want the best for you and want you to achieve. I have made a best friend here at Hope and he is an absolute role model and kind friend to me. Again, all of the teachers and staff here want you to succeed and have a bright future. I would definitely recommend coming to this amazing school!

This upcoming school year will be my 3rd year at Hope Academy & I absolutely love it! I have enjoyed the chance to impact the lives of many students and love watching them grow on a daily basis as a result of it. I enjoy the time that I spend with each child and I am happy to be apart of such a caring staff who feels the same way. We love our students!!

Hope Academy is a great place to witness miracles. Many of our students have faced obstacles in other school environments. At Hope, our teachers make it a priority to meet the students at their academic and social levels and move forward. If you have a child that would benefit from a more one-on-one learning experience, please contact Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy to schedule an appointment with our principal. You will find a loving school environment for your child.

My grandson attends Hope Academy and he absolutely loves his teachers. He has struggled in the past in the public school system. But at Hope Academy they have given him the individual instruction needed to meet his academic needs as well as making sure that he grows in his social interactions. He even read his first book this year! We really appreciate Mrs. Lato and all of her paras for the love and care they give the students. They have truly made a difference in his life.

This is a school that supposed to cater to kids with disabilities but that’s not really the case. This school is the only school I know if you have small kids they can come to work with you daily. And let’s just say the principal is rude and unprofessional.

My son, who has Down Syndrome, has attended Hope Academy for 9 years now. When he was in the 4th grade in Public School, we started to notice behavior changes. He would want to leave school, go to the nurse, call me to come get him and on and on. We changed him to Hope Academy and it has been a godsend for him. The teachers and paraprofessionals that he has had have been fantastic. They have a heart for serving our kids. He has grown so much educationally & socially.

My severely learning disabled child has been at Hope Academy for 2 years. He was withdrawn and unhappy and would not speak at public school. At Hope Academy, he is happy and outgoing and has become very verbal. The incident at Hope Academy was between a mother and a teacher who used to be her friend. The teacher had been driving this child to school everyday. This was an unfortunate isolated incident.

Unfortunately they are still neglecting and verbally abusing students with disabilities. The principals attitude is immature and ignorant towards the issues this school faces. Kids are often left alone when in need of supervision, and teachers often berate students. Do you and your child a favor by saving money and not sending your kid here.

Really wish i could post with 0 star rating. This school should be close. I am a teacher 15 years and no one even if they have disability should be mistreated. Saw story on facebook from Milissa Davis her son use to go here. Mom went talk to the principal and school about concerns of the change in her child behavior. They did nothing. When she went in with recorded proff of the teachers mistreating her son they did nothing till it went viral and lawyer got involved then they took action and fired them. My experience if that happend at my school action would be taken right away. This school does not deserve to be open and have ths right to teach children.

This breaks my heart. I worked with very difficult kids with autism for many years. The principal should have been fired. Sorry to say they need to hire many new teachers and get rid of ones that have been there a long time. I bet the principal is doing the bullying also.

After reading the multiple reports regarding teachers bullying a special needs student I am appalled at the administration who felt these teachers should have contact with any child. This obviously was not an isolated incident, who knows how much damage those teachers have done on your watch. Shame on this administration.
