We had an horrible experience with this daycare. My son was traumatized and I had to remove him after a few months. My son described that the owner was aggressive with the kids. She was yelling at the kids and physically restraining them. There has been official complaints from many parents because of her abusive behavior. There was a hearing against her, to prevent her from renewing her license, but there was not enough proof (children words against hers...) and they did not close her down.

My daughter has been attending for almost a year and this is by far her favorite place to be! The methods Nupur uses with the children are amazing and they work! My daughter went from being a super picky eater to willingly trying different foods, she learns about the basics plus other cool things like space, and she has made some great friends she talks about nonstop. We love it!

All of my children have attended TWYLC and each time I am amazed at how much they learn and develop with this teaching style. The staff are very caring, attentive, and focused on safety. It truly is more of a school child-led environment rather than traditional childcare. The cost is comparable to other places I’ve researched and there is so much emphasis on creativity and exploring. I highly recommend!

I need to stay in Beaverton for half a year because of my certificates, so I chose the TWYLC for my three-year-old child at first just because it is close to where I live. However, after getting together for a period of time, I really think it is a good choice. My child was diagnosed with language delay and TWYLC actively cooperated with the Early Intervention Department to help my child. We are new immigrants, so we are still learning English. The director, Nupur, is always very patient in explaining my childs situations at school and giving practical suggestions. Unfortunately, we are moving. If we were to continue living here, I would still choose the TWYLC.

My son is lucky to attend this school. It has a really good teacher to student ratio, which means that he gets a lot of attention from his teachers. The school is arranged in stations that allow for different types of creative expression from art projects to plays. My son learns to do the alphabet and count through fun, hands-on art projects. He also gets to explore science and cause and effect through learning centers set up by the owner. I really appreciate that she uses recycled materials that help the environment. One of the best things about this daycare is the owner. She really has a passion for nurturing children and fostering their learning. She has an MBA degree, but through her experience at the Childrens Museum she realized that she has a passion for helping children learn and develop. She invested a lot of her own money into finding the best, most interactive curriculum that helps children learn. She implements that curriculum daily with neat activities that keep the children engaged and learning. I highly recommend this daycare. Go check it out--you will be surprised at how spotless it is--especially with the amount of projects they do in a day!

Were so glad to have our pre-K daughter at Wonder Years Learning Center! From yoga stretches, to introductory Spanish lessons, emotional development, science and biology, and lots and lots and lots of enriching outdoor play, she gets a little bit of everything in a warm, calm environment. We attended a few other schools before settling in at TWLC and my wife and I were both a little shocked with how much our daughter took to the style of teaching and environment here. Highly recommend.

When I began looking for childcare options for my very curious and lively 3 year old I was sold on TWYLC after our initial visit. I wasn’t previously familiar with the Reggio Emilia approach for early childhood education until TWYLC. But I knew I wanted something that would keep my child interested in exploring the world around him while also preparing him for eventual grade school and all the socialization and learning that encompasses it and TWYLC offers just that.Little did I know TWYLC would not only meet my expectations but also greatly exceed them. In the year my child has attended he has learned about many different cultures, developed polite manners and social skills, tried and grew to like many new healthy foods and thrived in the rhythm that TWYLC provides. All this while also richly developing his creative and curious nature. The staff at TWYLC has been wonderful, they have great communication and the skilled and caring teachers make this a place my child is comfortable and happy to go to daily. I’m very grateful for the environment they create for my child and his classmates. And did I mention fresh home cooked meals and no screen time?Again this place is wonderful. I highly recommend it and I only wish I could have discovered it sooner so my older child could have attended as well.
