Findley elementary school in Bethany is a great school. My son went there for kindergarten and 1st grade. And the half of kindergarten and whole year of 1st grade were CDL, they were doing a great job for online too! This year, Findley dont have CDL option, and we dont feel ready for in person school yet. We will go to FLEX. Hope this is a great online school.

**Im giving four stars simply because I found that BSD has made it quick and easy for me to upload documents on behalf of my student that is new to the district. This solved my problem as a working parent who discovered all BSD locations are closed on Fridays during the summer. I have yet to interact with anyone from BSD, so this review is subject to change.

Total and utter incompetence in planning for a return to school during COVID.Air purifiers are not allowed in the classrooms per district policy as “they will make the classroom appear to be unsafe.” What the heck? How about taking the step to protect our children versus trying to protect your image? A Covid outbreak would also be bad PR.The air conditioning doesnt function in the majority of at least a part of the school buildings, and windows often cannot be opened. Temperatures were at an unacceptable level in classrooms and the lack of ventilation is a huge danger with Covid. Other districts updated their HVAC systems to make their schools safer. Beaverton did not.Lunches were delayed and the elementary children had only minutes to eat before being told to pack up and go. Unacceptable.You had a year and a half to work on the logistics of a safer return to school. What were administrators doing the whole time?! Twiddling your thumbs and patting yourselves on the back for shoving the hard work off onto the teachers and making them and the children pay for your shortcomings? Bravo.Our children and teachers deserve better.

Beaverton school district wont even be requiring vaccinations for staff to return to work with children, so my children wont be going to Beaverton school district schools. If any of you have any sense, youll keep your kids far away from this insanity.

The school district is 3 star but most comment is by student who hate school and trying to do bad review of their district to chill. I tried to do that before but my computer’s energy die before I can submit. If an adult want to move here is seeing this, bad review doesnt means bad school district. Of course, I dont like school too but its not right to make the review horrible so if want to complain give a five star then complain. Not to brag or gloat but BSD got the best score in Portland(search on Google), and all school food is not tasty, if there’s yummy school food that must be private school, so stop giving 1 star for food problem. Kids like me says teachers are mean but mean is atcually a good thing. It is a way of teaching. Someone probably gonna kill me for doing this comment but that’s my opinion.(sorry bad grammar)

Our four children have gone through Beaverton Schools and have had an excellent education. They received the care and attention each needed for success. This included 2 IEPs, a 504, and TAG services.Yes, we as parents needed to advocate for their individual needs sometimes, but that is a parents job. Three of our children are now successful college graduates, and the fourth earns his college diploma next year. Thank you, BSD!

This is a BIG disrict and I think the district has over 50 schools! My child is in Elmonica Elemantary School.

I feel the Beaverton School District is one of the best in the State. We fund our District by voting for adequate budgets!

The School system is mediocre. Im in one of the top schools in this district and it is still terrible. I am not complaining becuase of the desire to want something better than already have. My school is terrible, ourprogram is fake and teachers dont actually understand the program. Its better in the UK. But I was unlucky to have parents who made bad decisions to move here for the trees instead of the education and my future.Okay, this district is completely rotten. If you dont mind not having things that the best school district has, then its not completely terrible. It still considers the students, but to a certain degree.

My son of disabilities that wad already behind in school. With a I e p . wad denied transportation and a education for a hole yeast. Hes being held back now. And were having to have my son say hes living with someone else art another address 2 towns over just to get him into public school. Were low income. The principle at vise denied his transfer to schools we could get him to. And denied his transportation. Finally called me back with 2 months of school left could barely speak English and had no reason she denied his transfer. And claimed she had never heard from me or knew of a I e p. But her decision stands and my son and I are suffering. P.s. THERE BEING SUED ALREADY FOR NOT SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND FAMILYS OF LOW INCOME OR DISIBILITIES. !!!!! They will deny your child there civil rights and no one in the city will help you. No child left behind my ass..Also 75% Hispanic. Including all signs and most of the staff. my son couldnt find the bathroom. Hes suppose to be learning English,
