We thoroughly enjoyed our lessons in preparation for our wedding day. We chose to dance a waltz for our first dance, and over the course of 6 lessons we went from zero experience to completing a personalized, choreographed dance. We were very happy with the dance and that we got to where we did in just 6 lessons is a big testament to the instructional quality of the staff at Dance EZ. Thanks Kay!

Found DanceEZ by referral, Rebecca. During the first meeting, we told her our plans of performing a dance to multiple songs, or a mash-up of sorts. We knew this would be more challenging, and my wife and I have never done any choreography before, thought it would take many more lessons than it did, thanks to Susans great instruction. Before the first day of our routine lesson, Susan had the entire choreography planned out to the counts and beats of our music; and, she also had dance moves we could change out in the choreography based on how we felt in our progression (whether we wanted more challenging dance moves or easier ones). We had a wonderful experience while we were learning the dance from her. She is excellent at analyzing where you made a mistake so you can be conscious of it later and practice that particular piece. And also, she will film you at the end of the session and provide feedback on what you need to practice and how to do better. Overall, Susan is very patient, really provides great feedback to help you look and dance better, and is a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend her!

We have gotten so much better since our first lesson and really love her teaching method and her positivity and patience!!! The entire team at the studio is amazing! I contacted Susan about choreographing two dances for my sons wedding. Even before I booked an appointment, she was very helpful in giving advice on how to make it all work in 5 months with the bride and mom of groom in Houston and the groom in Waco. We scheduled lessons during spring break, Easter, and then the week before the wedding. The bride and groom videoed their dance in the studio to help them when practicing on their own. When my son and I had a memory lapse about our own dance, Susan sent us her notes and we were back in business!. None of us are avid dancers. And the dances were simple. But they were well done and fit our level of experience. The lessons in studio with Susan were fun. She is so creative and crafted a dance that worked for us. I have a beautiful memory of a fun dance with my son that was made even more special with the help of Susan at Dance EZ.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Susan and Kay at Dance EZ. My now husband and I wanted to take some lessons and have a dance choreographed for our First Dance. We were so impressed with how well they came up with a dance to go along with our chosen song. I appreciated how we were not expected to memorize the entire routine after the first lesson and how patient Kay was working with us as neither of us had any dance background. As we continued to learn our dance there were opportunities to increase the technical difficulty and Kay and Susan worked diligently to create a masterful dance both my husband and I could perform on our wedding day. Our dance was a huge hit and we could not have been happier. I am so glad we took the time to learn a dance and have it professionally choreographed. This studio was fantastic. My (now) wife and I decided to take some lessons only a few weeks before our wedding and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. We took five sessions and our instructor was absolutely wonderful. She choreographed an entire dance to our song and patiently taught us all the moves over the sessions. She was able to tailor her guidance differently to each of us in order to help us better learn the steps. Our first dance at our wedding was wonderful and a big hit. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Susan designed the choreography of my wedding dance , which is a Viennese Waltz that is super difficult for amateurs to learn. However , Susan’s teaching is very clear and understandable and she is attentive to details. So we nailed down the dance in 10 classes including review sessions to make it perfect. We really like how our dance turns out to be (elegant and beautiful) and we are extremely happy about this experience.

Susan was fabulous! My husband and I were preparing for our daughter’s wedding. Due to an illness in the family, Susan had only a minimal amount of time to work her magic. She choreographed a father-daughter dance and taught us basic swing to songs from the band’s playlist. She was patient, kind, and extremely encouraging to this older couple with no dance experience except for shuffling around a dance floor. We plan to return for lessons “just for fun”!! Hands down - we had the best time learning our first dance steps with Susan in only about 2.5 weeks! We had some unforeseen circumstances involving my (now) husbands herniated discs. We really want to do a traditional, choreographed first dance so we decided to go for it! Susan was amazing at accommodating our needs in such a short period of time. We even changed up the dance after the first session since we were a bit ambitious. Susan was completely professional and readjusted the choreography so we can show off our dance moves just in time for our big day! We ended up doing the Rumba (coupled with twirls and dips) to Ben E. Kings Stand By Me. We still find ourselves just busting out our moves in the living room to some other song or even at a resort on vacation. Definitely a special moment for us. Susan helped organize mother-son and first dances with my fiancée, Mom and I on a very short time frame for our wedding. Couldnt have been happier with the level of instruction and professionalism and how easy Susan made everything for all of us. Would recommend her to anyone in need of a dance lesson!

I couldnt be happier with my experience at Dance EZ. I was referred to the studio after trying to schedule dance lessons for mother and Is first dance at my wedding. The studio was already full but they referred me to Dance EZ and I spoke with Susan. Susan set me up with an appointment with Alex. My mother and I showed up on Saturday afternoon not really knowing what to expect. Alex was there on time and was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The nicest guy ever, super patient, obviously knew what he was doing, and was a very intelligent person to speak to. He was able to show us some basic moves that we had no idea how to do before and even helped choreograph when to do them. When I got down on myself for screwing up he was there to remind me that dancing isnt a perfect science and that people at the wedding will be happy and entertained no matter what. I loved the classes we had with him, I highly recommend purchasing 2 or more at a time so you can really hone in on the moves. Thank you Alex for being a great instructor and really showing you cared! A++++ EXPERIENCE!!!

My husband and I learned our wedding dance in just 5 lessons at Dance EZ. Katharine was an amazing instructor and really customized our dance to fit our song and incorporate tricks that matched our skill level. We learned some good moves that really wow-ed our guests and made our first dance truly memorable. She was creative, sometimes changing things up on the fly if a move felt awkward or just wasnt working for us. We really enjoyed our experience at Dance EZ and highly recommend it to any couple looking for extra help in preparing their first dance.

Great staff, very professional. They offer a wide range of lessons, and my girlfriend and I had fun and became very solid on the basics. I would definitely recommend Dance EZ for private lessons!
