Worst school ever. If you are a parent and you take your kids to this school please for once check the milk that they give to our kids. You will see that its is chunk and has ice in it. I complained many times and my daughter has also complained about their food and they never cared. I am so glad that I removed my kids from this school.

This plc is a disaster, they left kids crying and crying for hours until they get tired and sleep, I used to take a jacket every day with my daughter in the cold days to make sure she wont get sick but I swear to God they never care about having the kids taking their coats with them out. One day the teacher told me why my daughter didnt bring her coats while my daughter coat was behind her and my daughter name was written on it with a sharpy. It was 30 degree outside and she took her out with out a jacket in a short sleeve shirt can y imagine the pain and the cold and how much crying my daughter had. The same day I took my daughter to the ER for having a severe fever.

It is so funny when I see the people who work there and they are the reason why this plc is falling apart reviewing this daycare and giving it a 5 star. This plc doesnt deserve one star it is a torturing plc for kids.. of your child attending this school and he or she is always been sick no wonder way. Believe me this plc is nothing to a daycare it is nightmare.

This plc is nothing except dangerous plc for kids unsafe, and terrible terrible environment for our little ones it is always loud kids always crying. My daughter used to go to emergency room every month bcz of a playdough in her ear or a cut in her ear and a sudden fever. I am so glad that I moved her to another daycare. But I am still wishing that plc get closed.

I can not say enough nice things about this school/daycare. My 3 year old twins absolutely thrived with this team of amazing people. Miss Shirley and Miss Jennifer were so good with them. But the director Rachel Brewer was good with me and it meant more than she knew. One of my twins has Cerebral Palsy. We had been rejected from several daycares because of this. My daughter uses a walker but in all other aspects is a typical and smart 3 year old. It was heartbreaking to go through the process of finding a daycare for the twins. Discrimination is something I didnt think my sweet girl would have to deal with so young. Rachel didnt blink an eye about her disability and saw her for who she is right away! She filled out the ADA paperwork and my kiddos were in class in a weeks time. She is the best! They coordinated speech therapy with the kids preschool and took on the task without question. My daughters balance, walking and confidence improved after a few weeks there because of them! Theyre language and social skills blossomed as well as thier attention span. Rachel and the staff had to teach very young children to wear masks and be safe during a pandemic. They did it with ease and now I brag about how my 3 year olds are mask trained. I always credit La Petite though. This is the best experience I could ever dreamed for.

I am a teacher candidate specializing in Elementary Education, and consider myself to be a very hands on mother. My sons education is my top priority. I considered many preschools before I decided on La Petite, including some that were more expensive and claimed to be the best in the area. In my opinion, La Petite is a great value. I chose La Petite Academy because it was recommended to me by another mother, and am pleased with my decision. I am very please with the education my child is receiving there. My son has been attending La Petite Academy sine he was 15 months old. The staff is very friendly. They care for the children very much. My sons teacher even came to his birthday party. When my son started having behavioral issues, the staff helped me to correct these issues immediately so that it would not become a life long battle. I am confident that my child will succeed in school based on the education he has received at La Petite Academy. I recommend this school to anyone who cares about their childs education.

Suspicious how my last review is no longer available... I will re-write in hopes it saves a parent the heart break and head ache this place cost me!If you are a foster parent- do not even attempt to place your children here for care. My child was literally attacked by another student and my child was suspended; he did nothing! The private paying attacker is still enrolled in this facility. Rachel, the director, is disgusting. She is mean, condescending and when she is there, a total jerk. Once your child is deemed not good they call you every day at 8am to come pick them up because they dont want to deal with them.Save your child- do not send them here!

We absolutely loved La Petite! The teachers and staff were very organized and professional. I knew that when I dropped my child off in the mornings, he would be loved, taken care of, and paid attention to. Most importantly, I knew that he would be in a learning environment. As a former teacher, I really appreciated the curriculum, programming, and activities for the children. We would highly recommend La Petite!

My grandchildren attend the school. The structure, patience of the staff and the curriculum is what keeps them returning. I agree with another review that informs that the director of the center has unacceptable behavior. She does not value parents or their choices, she is argumentive and condescending at best. If you report her behavior, she is remarkably retaliatory and divisive. She begins to nitpik at anything your child does. She is extremely unprofessional and seems to be accountable to no one! I can speak on this as we are actively utilizing the centers services.

Sara H first of all I would hope you would want the code changed for the change of employees. (safety of the kids is first remember). Second of all the old director was removed because she wasnt doing her job correctly. Its funny for all the things that happened you chose to keep your child there which tells me one of 2 things either you are full of crap or you dont think highly of your kid like you act. It sounds to me like you are just one who likes to complain. As for the high teacher turn over that is also garbage. They have had teachers that have found full time teaching jobs as well as ones that have moved on to other things. As for teachers being terminated of course that happens like in any job some people dont do there job correctly and need to be removed. I have had my child there for almost 7 years and had no issue. As for the infestation that is incorrect there was an issue and the parents were notified. They are also taking care of the problem. They got the earliest appointment to take care of it as soon as possible. As for them keeping the doors open for money is garbage as you said some people dont have another option. They are following all licensing guide lines and handling it correctly. Its people like you that make false statements and file garbage reports that cost a business in the end. This isnt something that was hiding that you broke open like a grade A detective. All us parents were all given notice about what as going on. I hope where ever you take your child they are ready for a giant pain in the butt they are getting with what I am sure is a constant complainer and a problem starter. I am sure they are better off with customers like you going else where. I am sick of picking up my child and hearing the same certain people just complaining to complain.

We love La Petite and trust that both of our sons are well taken care of there. We had ventured out to a different daycare at one point in time but eventually returned realizing that we just cant find a better place for our sons. Staff and teachers here are awesome - very friendly, loving and professional. We are sad to leave this location but b/c we had such a good experience, we decided to transfer them to another La Petite location near our new home. I think that says a lot about how much we like it here.

Every parent wants the best for their child/children, and enrolling them in La Petite Academy is the best thing for them! My daughter (22 months) has been enrolled in La Petite since January of 2012 and she and I both LOVE it. I am always comfortable dropping her off knowing that she is happy and welcomed with open arms. Originally I was weary about leaving “my precious baby” in the care of someone other than myself or family but the professional staff is nurturing, polite, caring, and simply amazing and with that I was ensured that everything would be fine. I greatly appreciate the patience they had with me for the first few weeks as I called and stopped by periodically to put myself at ease. Giving the daily reports, art and craft, and pictures, La Petite helps me feel more connected with the daily activities I unfortunately have to miss while away from my child. I love that there is a healthy balance of both play and education/exploration, you see the children blossom socially and academically as they are encouraged to use their imagination, play make-believe, and engage in fun activities while being educated. They give the best care and love as if all the children were their own and I couldn’t ask for a better place to take her while I work and attend school to provide a better life for us.

Rachel the director is very condescending, unprofessional, and rude. She often engages in power struggles with students as young as Pre K. Other staff members are nice, friendly and professional. The children are fed well. The program fees are consistently changing and increasing. This daycare will improve if and when the director is no longer in charge. Ramah was the best and I wish they would have never fired her!!

My daughter has attended La Petite Academy in Belleville, IL since she was 4 months old she is now turning 4 years old. We have loved every teacher she has worked with and feel they really care for her. She recently had her PK screening with our school district and tested way above average, we owe that to the education she is receiving at La Petite. I am always recommending La Petite to family and friends, I wouldnt feel safe with her anywhere else.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would! I was going to enroll my infant in this daycare with her sister and I gave them her birth certificate with the feet on it to copy and they kept it! They then put her in their system meaning they got my paperwork. When I came up the next day for my child’s paperwork and birth certificate they said they lost it!!! I’m so upset and they have been no help in helping me get my child’s birth certificate back!

My daughter used to attend this school. She really didnt care for it but i think thats because school and being away from mom, dad & family was new to her. However once she would settle down i can tell she enjoyed it. She always came home with something they had did at school to show and tell. The stuff and teachers were always very professional. The children were monitored and she never came home complaining of being bullied or anything. Compared to the school our lil angel attends now I wished she still attended La Petite.

Our son attended La Petite Academy for three years before we moved out of the area. I cant say enough good things about the facility and the staff. When we enrolled him, we thought of the facility as a daycare, but we learned that it was really an educational facility. We were impressed with everything he learned while enrolled - his ABCs, numbers, songs, etc.. The teachers are top-notch. They are extremely caring, and I often thought of the teachers as helping to raise my son. They played such an integral part of his development. We realize now that we are no longer in the area how lucky we were to find such a wonderful environment for our son. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a daycare - you will not regret selecting La Petite Academy.

We started bringing our son, Maximus, to La Petite Academy in March 2013 when he was about 10 months old. We immediately felt welcomed and I was amazed at how the staff knew and accommodated the specific needs of every child in their care. This was important to my wife and I because our son has a form of Epilepsy and experiences seizures. Over the months, our son really connected with the staff and we were completely satisfied with their services. The Director, Ramah, and her staff actually conducted a fundraiser to support our sons condition, which was well beyond the scope of their responsibilities of an average day care. In Oct 2013, we were offered a slot on the nearby Air Force base at a significantly reduced government rate, which we decided to take for financial reasons and accessibility to Maximus. At La Petite, Maximus would get dropped off happy and smiling and ran towards the staff and other children, but in his new day care, he would cling to us every time we tried to leave. Less than 30 days later, we decided to move right back to La Petite Academy, which technically cost more money, but for the level of service they provide, their price is very fair and comparable to other local day care centers. If youre looking for an extended family for your little bundle of joy, youve found it!- Lee and Martha Ayers

My experience with La Petite Academy has been excellent. The staff is friendly and caring towards myself and my child. Initially when searching for childcare I was somewhat nervous with leaving my child in someone elses care especially being new residents to the area. I am not a new mother, but felt anxious because this is my baby. After visiting with the staff and director I was given a tour and had the opportunity to sit down and ask many questions without feeling rushed. The staff was very professional and welcomed my questions and concerns. Once I learned that all the staff was certified in infant/child CPR and knew how to respond to emergencies this helped to ease my anxiety. I really liked the 1:4 staff to infant ratio, which allows my child to recieve the attention he needs as an infant. The facility and rooms were clean and organized. I also like the fact that I am provided a daily progress report of when and what my child ate, diapered, and slept during his stay at the center. The daily report is wonderful to allow me to assess what type of day my baby had and whether he seemed fussy or had a great day. Despite other facilities that I have visited with my two older children (12 years old and 7 years old), so far I have had a great experience with La Petite Academy in my area. I want to thank all the staff and director for welcoming me and my baby, especially Ramah (Academy Director), Nadia, Heather, Shirley, Donna, Rebecca, and Yvonne. Keep up the good work! :o)
