My daughter loves going to preschool! All of the teachers and helpers are wonderful, dedicated, sweet educators! They foster a safe, fun environment where children can learn and play make new friends. Harper surprises me with new songs and poems she learned at school. Her backpack is always stuffed with adorable art and lots of practice with early-learning school-work. Presbyterian Community Preschool is the best!

Best teachers ever! I considered about 5-6 different preschools in this area before choosing Presbyterian Community Preschool. Sitting in the classroom during a visit, Mrs. Hodges’ classroom is everything you would want for your child’s first school experience- a loving, caring, happy, fun, colorful, playful classroom where children love to learn and the teacher sings and lives for the children she teaches. You can tell by observing and talking to both Mrs. Hodges (the three-year-old teacher) and Mrs. Schuetz (the four-year-old teacher)— they truly love every child and have a passion for what they do. Having never gone to daycare, my son was EXTREMELY attached to me and transitioning into school, even a wonderful school like this, took time for my son. They were so understanding and caring and just loved my son through it. In just a couple months, I could tell my son was learning so much— his counting had improved, his thoughts were more developed, his story-telling was more thorough. And now he loves going to school. I can’t imagine a better preschool experience. I would give it ten stars if I could!

Very, very happy with our decision to send our son here! I like that is the perfect amount structured, letting the kids have fun and play while also teaching the importance of listening, caring about one another, and learning. Every day I pick up a smiling boy!

I attended this preschool way back in the early 80s, and now 35 years later have sent all four of my girls here. I cannot say enough about what a gem this little school is... Mrs. Hodges, the 3-year-old classroom teacher, has been teaching here for over 20 years and is well known to be one of the best preschool teachers in the area. My older girls, who have now gone through many grades with many teachers, still regard Mrs. Hodges as their favorite. She is kind, silly, gentle, but firm if need be. She treats each child as a special and unique little person who deserves her love and attention. Mrs. Schuetz, the 4-year-old classroom teacher, is also a loving soul who prioritizes her students needs first and is always thinking of wonderful ideas for class lessons and excursions. The class sizes are small and the teachers still value play as the best teacher for young children. Go and visit -- you will not be disappointed!
