The curriculum at Online Trading Academy Futures is very well paced and dynamic. I learned a tremendous amount with the live trading sessions that deal with real world trading. Ive been with Online Trading Academy for a couple of months now. i am just completing the initial coarse work and have been very impressed with the instructors and the material covered in class, both in depth and content. But truly my education has just begun. The online continuing education course material and extended learning coarse material is impressive. The instructors and the support staff are committed to my success. The learning environment is well supported, and the community of Online Trading Academy students is very supportive and helpful as well. Lots of data which is good. My brain is saturated. The material wasnt too difficult, but its a lot to swallow. The instructor, Scott Chrisan, The General, was very down to earth and knew his stuff. He could relate real world experiences and bring the system application into an understandable lesson. An excellent instructor in a word. I need a lot of practice, but I feel I have plenty of resources (online stuff and instructors to get in touch with) around me to walk with me as I fall and get back up again.

I have been taking classes from OTA- Bellevue over the past 3 years. Each time I have taken a class, I have noticed improvements in the training facilities, and course materials. The instructors have always been top notch. This week, I took a class on trading futures (my second retake - free) from Jerry B. He is patient with all students and his overall attitude is very positive. I have learned so many new things that I can apply to my trading plan. If I were looking for a place to learn how to trade, I would not hesitate choosing Online Trading Academy.

My Core Strategy class was excellent. My instructor Jon was very accomplished at taking complex material and simplifying it. He truly did not want to leave anyone behind. This course and the staff at OTA has given me a great foundation to be successful in my online trading venture. I am exciting to go on to my next class.

Im currently taking classes at this Online Trading Academy branch located in Bellevue, WA.Yes, 5 starts! (Too bad Google doesnt give me the option to put more starts). Let me tell you why 5 stars.Im a scientist. Gamboling, taking chances, expecting good luck from heaven are not my living style. No surprise that I had zero trading experiences before coming to Online Trading Academy. Out of curiosity, I attended a 3 hours seminar introducing what the unique teaching style of Online Trading Academy. I was told that if I could follow the rules and discipline myself, I would be a successful trader. I believed the simple and clear rules not hard to me so I signed up for classes right after the seminar.Im glad I had made a right decision to take this opportunity as a turning point of living style. I wouldnt so sure before taking the classes. Now, after the 3 sessions of classes, I can say so. The tuition is paid not only for the classes. And its not for the good of re-take the classes as many times as you want. The most valuable feature and benefits Online Trading Academy offers are the community, the groups and the culture! The class session may last only a week. But the supports from the rich experienced instructors, the idea sharing between the students will last forever. The trading experiences from them worth of thousands of money and years of learning curve. Trading needs continuously enrichment. Google might be a help to find terminology or simple answers, but not experiences.I actually Googled reviews on Online Trading Academy before I write my review. I saw some negative comments in the reviews for some other branches. One comment blames that he/she lost $5000 in trading after took the Online Trading Academy classes. I want to say that if you DID follow the rules and DID disciplined yourself, you still lose money, too bad you are not the right person to do trading.

Gary was very understanding of the need to make sure his students understand the strategy taught. He was very good at repeating multiple times the strategy he was teaching, his main concern being that the lessons he teaches are understood and that the function of entering a position in the marketplace are well managed and protected. I am very thankful for his skill and experience, and also his wisdom, his many years of working in the industry have made him a most valuable source for me

I’ve got to know many OTA’s instructors through in-class or remote mode during my 1.5 years of studying at OTA, and can attest that they are all great and you learn a lot from single one of them. I was lucky to attend Jerry Baldwin’s class this week. I really appreciated his teaching style. I liked the most that he demonstrated a setup and had us do it. After that we all compared and helped each other to come to the same result. And weve got lots of practice opportunities. How cool is that??? I had lots of “a-ha” moments and many little nuggets Jerry shared with us finally clarified number of confusions I had. And we all saw how those little nuggets worked in trades too!I’m very excited to practice Jerry’s morning routine with the globex ATR application and implement other pointers he shared with us. Thank you Jerry! I would highly recommend Jerry’s class.Did I mention he has a great personality?

Taking the Futures Class this week in Bellevue with Jerry Baldwin. This has been my second class through OTA in my quest to protect and grow my savings. This whole process has been eye-opening for a non financial person. I was glad to hear another person in class say they really researched all the trading platforms in this self-management industry, and OTA had the best platform. I did a good bit of research myself, and found OTA to be the most comprehensive plan of the other options out there. Thank you for helping me to become more financially independent.

I love the hands on trading/learning. My instructor was Jerry Baldwin. He presented a well organized and understandable futures class. Using a simulated account on a live market we made a profit multiple times. The system works, but I show up to class for the free lunch.

Dan Sugar was very good with everything. Using trend line, chart pattern to help see the chart structure more clearly, using trend line, very simply and clear strategy, especially the way he applied is so confident. I was very impressed by his few words for risk management, watching your downside, get out when you know you are wrong, also like his words about psychology, hoping is not strategy....His simple words convey so much information.

I attended a retake session of the Futures Class this week. It has been a very relaxing and enjoyable week getting familiarized with the Futures Market. Instructor for the week was Jerry Baldwin, and he is very knowledgeable and made the learning activities fun an engaging.The Center is located in a nice area of Bellevue with a walking trail by a river to take breaks. The Center Staff are very nice and friendly, take the time work with the students to make the overall experience at OTA very good.I would recommend that future students stop by to tour the location and meet the team.

Very structured learning environment with an emphasis on the core strategy. It was reinforced daily which made it almost second nature by the end of the week. Also it was a very relaxed learning atmosphere. I enjoyed my instructor immensely as well as the students.

Having Kelly as an instructor was a great learning experience, and has helped to focus my goals to reachable objects. Then expand on those goals once I have established a routine habit with my trade plan. As long as I stay focused and maintain my the plan I have put in place.

A couple weeks ago, I took the Pro Trader class and got my feet wet trading stocks. This week, I finally had the opportunity to learn how Futures work while fine tuning the zone finding techniques learned in Pro Trader. I had great results at the tail end of the week trading in Sim mode and feel I will only need a little more time practicing before I begin trading with a live account. Very excited and extremely happy with the results of this weeks class!

Dan Sugar was wonderful and I would love to have him again as an instructor. He is very knowledgeable and his teaching style presents the information in a way that makes sense. Love those trend lines!

I had the pleasure of teaching in Seattle in April. First time to the city and center. Great people, both staff and students. Made some great friends in class. Hope to teach there again soon.

Did a great job, have a very strong knowledge of pf the material. The most impressive thing to me was the extra time (before class, brake time, lunch, after class) he would spend with students. It showed me he was interested in the students and not just a pay check.

I really liked it. I have been a trader for years. This has helped me refine my trading. The instructor was great. He kept repeating the basics to make it ingrained into peoples thoughts. Kelly is a pilot and kept using real life examples about an important task, in our trading lessons, which is important in everyones life since it deals with their life savings.

The instructors style was great in that he mixed humor with the class instructions. He also uses very helpful and simple analogies that are familiar to you to explain options, which can be very abstract. He explained the fundamentals of options using a store coupon example.

The Pro Trader classes were excellent in providing how OTAs core strategy works and how to implement this strategy into ones own trading. The courses begin at a very basic level and progress to a more advanced stage of trading. The lectures and real time trading done in class help to build your skills and confidence levels as a trader.

David Fong is an excellent instructor. Because he uses the concepts every day in his own trading, he knows his material. He explains concepts well, using appropriate examples, and doesnt get frustrated if we dont grasp it the first (or second) time through.

When I began the class I had zero trading knowledge and zero experience trading. However, I did not see that as a negative but as a positive place to begin. My instructor, Kelly Boycks, was not only patient but consistent with reminding us to read and Follow The Instructions/Go Back to the Basics. He also gave great handouts which included a Trading Plan and Chart Templates to guide us. These were crucial for those of us who are visual/hands-on learners. OTA does a great job of meeting all learning styles and Kelly was able to accommodate those styles.

Great week in the Pacific Northwest! The staff is fabulous--Jaein, Teri, and Franklin did a tremendous job ensuring things flowed smoothly. Heidi, Megan Dezarei, provided a great deal of help, too. The class was great with a lot of energy and fun. Looking forward to getting back there.

OTA is a great school in teaching you how to trade the market. Looking forward to managing my own IRAs so Im not paying a fee to a broker who doesnt care if you make or loose money. The staff and teachers are friendly and eager to help in any way possible to make sure you succeed. They will council you one on one if your having a problem understanding something and allow you to take a class as many times as you need to (at no extra charge) til you understand it. If you seriously want to do on line training it is worth the money, or as I see it an investment in making sure I have money to retire on.

Scott is very knowledgeable about both the platform and course material. He presented in a way that made sense to me. This experience has made me confident about trading equities.

ProActive Investor is by far the best class yet! I wish I had taken this class sooner than I did. Russ Allen is awesome, a great instructor, by far the best instructor that I’ve had here at OTA. Russ has the bearing and approach of a professional educator, rather than a professional trader, and (for me) that made for a much more enlightening experience.

This training helped me realize the abc of trading which seems simplistic, but is not. It teaches you the big no-nos and the good habits that have helped successful traders(not speculators)! I would invest in this course rather than learn by making mistakes in the market ,as the latter may well be a more expensive and frustrating way of learning.

Our instructor, Scott Chrisan, made the sessions very engaging and added some humor along the way. I appreciated his depth of knowledge and experience in the trading environment.

Brandon is a great instructor. He showed us a lot of basic tools that increased the probability of success and confidence, which helped in ensuring that we are making the right decisions when trading.

I have quite a few years of fundamental investing experience, not as many in technical. I figured I knew how to trade, but always felt lacking in what to trade. From O.T.A., Im learning that I didnt really know all the hows, either; Im now beginning the journey of learning the what, and expanding my knowledge of the how.

As a carrot to entice people to their introductory class where they mostly market for pay investment classes, this company advertises home study courses to be given at the free class worth over 200 dollars. After attending this introductory class which explains the basics of the system, and not receiving the flash drive with these promised investment classes, I requested it by phone repeatedly. The first response I received after nearly a month of persistence. It said they did not have envelopes to send the flash drive and I would need to come by their office to pick it up. I think the 200 mile drive would be money down the rat hole. They also said there was no real information in the home study classes, and I would not be interested anyway. I know nothing about Online Trading Academy investment classes, but I learned all I need to about their business practices as far as misleading customers and keeping their promises. I will not spend my money with these people and I suggest you take a long careful look before you risk your cash here. Its a con.

I had the opportunity to attend the Pro Trader and Options classes this Spring, both taught by David Fong. It exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend these classes to anyone seeking to take control of their financial future. OTA is incredible and the staff in Bellevue are some the most professional people you will come across. They truly care about helping you reach your goals and aspirations in the trading world.

The program teaches not only technique but history, psychology, social structures and unique insights that combine to a large world view. It correlated all the tidbits of information that I have collected over my life and empowered me to do something with it.

The staff at OTA Seattle (Bellevue) is very committed, always following up with the students to make sure all their needs are met. Kelly was my visiting instructor, and it was a very structured and yet relaxed learning environment. I would rate Kelly at an A++, and yes, if you FTDI, youre half way there.

I am very happy with the training I received. I originally took the professional stock trader and professional Forex trader classes 3 years ago. After taking the classes and the xlt classes at home I can say that it was the difference that made me a consistently profitable trader. I recommend OTA to anyone who has been struggling to learn to trade any instrument.

I just completed the OTA Proactive Investor class during the week of November 7-11, 2016. Russ Allen was the instructor. Russ is one of my favorite OTA instructors because he is very methodical and clear, starting with the basic concepts and building on these to get to the more complex topics. From the information I learned in this class I feel very confident that I can manage my own retirement account and get a better return than if left up to a brokerage company to manage. I would also like to thank the staff of OTA Seattle (Franklin, Jaein, and Ken) for their professionalism and friendly student support.

Before beginning the Futures Trader class at OTA I had previously taken the Pro Trader and Protrader 2 classes. These first classes were essential to beginning the foundation for understanding the basis or core of all that the strategies and techniques of OTA are built on. Although I learned a great deal and truly had many aha moments while in the protrader classes it wasnt until taking the Futures class with Jossip Causic that the light bulbs really started going on. My excitement after the first day grew exponentially because I felt like I finally understood not just the why price changes but when and where it is most likely to do so...and to go a step further, Jossip leveled a couple of solid rules that have made a huge difference for me which have kept me from getting into trades too soon, or missing them all together. From purely an instruction point of view Jossip was phenominal. His direct approach is just what I need and respect. His analogies tying historical events to techniques and understanding of the charts and movement really helped to paint pictures and add clarity where I didnt have it before. I would highly recommend if anyone has the opportunity to take any of the classes Jossip Causic teaches to do so, it will be time well spent.

OTA has been a great way for me to learn the art and methodologies of successful trading. I will say that I had sticker shock with the pricing but over time using the techniques taught I expect to recover my investment within the first year. Everyone I have met is super friendly, approachable and willing to help me or point me to the best resources. The classes are on site and online, they have some brilliant instructor such as Eric Burleigh, Josip Causic and Ken Peterson that not only answer your classroom questions but give you time on a one on one basis to help with individual questions and concerns. I find OTA is like a family or community willing to help me obtain my online trading financial goals with a vested interest in me being successful. There are lifetime class retakes with my spouse and I have access to the instructors at all times as my mentors. I highly recommend OTA Seattle if you are motivated to learn, practice and be successful in online trading of stocks, options, futures or forex.
