My daughter joined Shamrock 1 month ago and I can tell she is happy and excited to go to school every day. She has learned and grew a lot although its only 1 month. We are amazed by how organized she became and she expressed her love and care of others constantly. We are truly grateful of the guidance she received at school. We have toured and interviewed many schools before COVID and we feel extremely lucky to be able to join Shamrock. Teachers are loving caring and responsible. There are many different type of fun activities to engage kids and let them learn from the enriched environment. Shamrock is a place to truly let kids thrive. Highly recommend it to any parents aim to let kids have a chance to fulfill potential possibilities to become an independent, secure, and balanced human being.

As one of the first students, my daughter has been studying at Shamrock Montessori for three years. Were super glad to see her growth, on both academic skills and personal characteristics. Thanks to the teachers care and hard work, my daughter has had a delightful childhood at Shamrock. Once what bothered me a lot was my daughter didnt want to go home when I picked her up. My family very appreciate Shamrock.

Montessori +Christian background +Chinese culture, exactly what we are looking for. My 3-year-old is always happy and excited when dropping off and picking up, with a big smile. What a meaningful school life for her, feeling warm, safe, secure, joyful, learning friendship, become more independent. Highly recommended and a tour visit sure will help you understand more personally. Thanks for the teachers passion and proficiency in child education.

My older boy was in Ms. Dawns class for two years, and he grew from a shy boy to be a confident and independent boy who loves to speak up in his class, so I have no doubt putting my younger one in Shamrock. My son has become much more independent just being at school for two weeks. He is so eager to do things by himself now, and that helps building his confidence too. He is more willing to express himself using words than emotions.Raising the child in the Montessori way helps a lot with the attention span. My son is now more focused when he is playing at home. And he has created very good habits and like to offer help to his older brother. The way Montessori uses to nurture the child turns my kids into confident and independent boys. Ms Dawn and Ms Jasmine are both experienced teachers with very good experience handling children. I can also see passion in their eyes in nurturing the children. My aim is to nurture my kids with passion and curiosity towards things that happened around them. Academics comes second, but with the curiosity they possessed, the knowledge they earned just comes naturally without effort. Both teachers are very willing to communicate with parents and work together to achieve the goal we expected.

The school provides great balance on English and Mandarin immersive environment. My son loves the school very much, especially learning and working with other kids. He is very picky in eating, however he finished lunch almost everyday in school. Teachers and school must have some magic. The curriculum and take-home is impressive. And we got tons of photos from daily life every week. And we had many field trips, and hang out with other families.Highly recommend this school.

Besides the 2nd language they teach in class, in general both teachers are great at understanding kids psychology, behaviors, motivations behind. Since they well understand whats in kids mind, they lead the kids into positive direction where as Ive seen some places where teachers get frustrated with kids behaviors. My both kids (now 3.5 and 5) did good time with both teachers. 5 year old is in public kinder now and my 3.5 year is still with them. we feel so lucky to have/had them as our kids teacher.

My son Aaron had been with Ms Dawn for two years and he loved to go to school everyday. We started when Aaron was two and half and Ms Dawn was so nice and patient and made the transition time so smooth. After that, the campus moved to a new place which is much further from our home, but to stay with Ms Dawn we preferred to drive 40 minutes each morning to the new campus. :)In those two years, Aaron grew to a big boy and he is very independent, confident, love to speak and perform in public. He is willing to help and care others. He is also curious about surroundings and always happy to learn new things. And Ms Dawn really helped to make that happen. She kept communicating with parents and help us to understand the kids and teach us how to talk/handle with the little ones. And she also shared the pictures and moments and made us rest assured. We felt so lucky that she was the first teacher for Aaron. Now Aaron is going to a new school and his current teacher told me he is the one who always focused on his task. And he could think of a way to do the math even before the teacher teaches that. Id love to thank Ms Dawn for all of those. In the open ceremony of Shamrock Montessori, Aaron visited this new school and he loved all the things there and he didnt want to leave at all. :) I am sure Shamlock Montessori will be a great school as Ms Dawn is such a great teacher and I can see her passion about caring and helping kids to grow.

Dawn is very patient, kind and caring to young kids. My son is a little shy when he meets a person for the first time. But at the same time, he will try all his ways to get that person’s attention. So when my son first met Dawn, my son, as usually, was being the shy version of himself. I encouraged him to say hello and introduce himself to Dawn, but instead, he hide in my arms and turned his face away from Dawn. Dawn started the conversation with my son first. She introduced herself to him in a funny way, and she told him she has many kid friends in her class, he was just like one of them. My son was not shy anymore, but then showed his naughty side. Dawn understands children’s thought and the reason of their behavior very well, in the meantime she is also able to lead children onto more interesting and meaningful ways. Dawn played and chatted with my son, gave him the attention he needs, and soon they became good friends.

I whole heartedly believe Shamrock Montessori is one of the best preschool there is in Bellevue. What is important to me when choosing a preschool for my son are caring teachers, clean safe environment, and high academic. Shamrock Montessori met all that I was looking for and more.I love that the school is Montessori based and that they teach both Mandarin and English as well as Christian faith. It is hard to find a preschool that has all those factors as well as great teachers. I like that with Montessori education, the focus is to help the child develop essential skills to learn naturally, to choose the work that he is interested in, to be curious to learn and to be independent. From visiting the school, seeing the work my son bring home and the photos they post each week of the kids, you can tell that the kids are engaged in a wide range of stimulating educational activities. These activities build their skills in key areas of Practical life, Sensorial, Language (Mandarin & English), Mathematics, and Culture (includes Science, History, Geography etc). It is also important to me that my son gets exposure to learning to speak Mandarin early on. I like that the school also have inclusion of bible stories, virtues, and songs in the curriculum. Both Mrs. Dawn and Mrs. Jasmine are the most loving, caring, and trained professional Montessori teachers. I can totally trust them with my son. They really get to know each child and spend time to help each one work on their independent skills and five key areas of learning. Both teachers are friendly, fun to talk to and they are open to share about my sons progress in school. Their lesson plans are thought out and well prepared for the calendar year with many fun enriching activities. This school is like a little extended family. There are occasional holiday events where families are invited to participate and all the parents can get to know each other a bit.The school environment is very safe, clean, stimulating, and peaceful. All the kids get along well and are well behaved in school. I started sending my son to Shamrock when he turned two years old and now he is almost 4.5 years old, he has made much progress academically, socially, and independently. I have such a peace of mind knowing that my son is well taken care of, learning new critical skills, making friends, and enjoying his time in school. I am so glad and thankful that my son can attend Shamrock Montessori Preschool. If you want top notch preschool education and a nurturing environment for your kids, this school is it. I highly recommend Shamrock Montessori.

As a multi race family living in the US, I really want my kids to keep learning Chinese and I really like Montessori style school, so we felt really grateful to find Shamrock Montessori when we moved to the big Seattle area two years ago.Even though we are living in Issaquah, it is about 20-30 min drive from home to school every day, I still decided to choose Shamrock as it was the best choice I could find for my kids according to our needs. And we really see how its been paying off when I took the kids back to China recently that everyone we met was complementing how good Chinese our kids spoke that people thought we had been living in China. It made me feel so good! All my driving is worth it!But it is not just about learning Chinese in Shamrock, another big reason we chose it is because of the loving, caring and supporting environment they provide for each kid to thrive! Both Ms Dawn and Ms Jasmine are really dedicated to early education. Their enthusiasm about teaching and the kids just makes you know your kids are in the right hand. The school calendar is well prepared ahead of time, besides there are all different kinds of events and festival parties. They have all been well arranged and carried out. Both our kids and us as parents have been enjoying all the events! Our two kids with very different personality have both learned good manner, disciplines and right values in Shamrock. The teachers are very diligent at teaching each kid with right disciplines with different approaches. When I attend the parent teacher conference and hear abut teachers talk about each of our kids, I know that theyve paid really close attention to each kid and they would give very useful and valuable parenting advice for me to take home.My daughter just graduated from Shamrock this June, shes learned a lot and made a lot of good friends there. This has been a very good piece of memory in her life. My son will continue another two years in Shamrock and we know he will thrive there!

My daughter has been in Shamrock Montessori for 3 weeks. In the first week, I expected her to be very resistant to go to the school compared with her previous experiences, but she only cried at the fist day when we dropped her. It really surprised me. In the third day of the fist week, when she came home, she started to say I want.... I will... (in Chinese) for almost everything she was doing. She started to express herself!! With the time going, there are more and more changes. I found that she started to put books back after reading, sort things by color or size, strong minded to help with whatever we are doing (like washing dishes, cleaning floors etc.) I am really happy to see these changes on my daughter, even sometimes her help brought more work to me, haha! I saw a lot of loves and patient behind all these changes. Otherwise, it wont happen in such a short time. I also want to talk about my observation about teachers. Every time when I pick up my daughter, i can see the same person that I meet in the morning - patient, gentle, and kind, no matter if they are talking to my daughter or me - after a whole day work!! I never see any tiredness or impatience on the teachers face, I even didnt feel it. Also, another small thing I want to mention is when I brought some grapes, the teacher said lets make a work for the children, then I saw the picture that my two and half years old daughter used the scissors to cut the grapes.... It probably not a big deal. But lets imagine if you are rush to finish your work, will you stop and think of some innovation? At least I wont. Besides all these, the teachers also organized a lot of activities. From the work that my daughter brought to home, I can see that they are very creative in teaching. Unless you really love what you are doing, you wont be so tireless, patient and creative. I am very happy to see my daughter to learn and grow there.

In just two weeks, with the help and guidance of the teachers, the child became independent, confident, cheerful, and willing to ask questions. The kindergarten that had been in the country for a year had no such experience. The child said that he likes it very much because he is very happy here. I believe that in an environment like shamrock, children will have a free growth process. A child who is growing up without pressure and is not compared with others will have a healthy mind. Therefore, I am very grateful to the teacher for making my child such a child. Both teachers have very rich Montessori teaching experience and provide children with a free, orderly and caring environment, so that they can feel I can, I can do. Therefore, when at home, children appear to be more and more independent in doing things, hoping that they can do many things by themselves. And now that children can focus and think independently when doing things, it is very surprising to me. In addition, the childrens hands-on ability is also improved.I hope that the child can be cultivated here as a caring child who can think and do things independently. The teachers have given great help to nurturing the children. We also communicated effectively with parents, telling us what kind of company the children need to be with. This school is the best school I have ever seen, and I am very touched by the teachers educational philosophy. I hope that this place will become the living water of education, and the fountain of love will continue to flow out.An Updated ReviewI have been in the US for almost four years. Around 2018.9, my little boy turned to 3-year-old, and I also sent him to Shamrock. It was a fantastic journey for him, and now he is graduated. Shamrock accompanied my little boy for three years. I witnessed how my boy grew up from dependant to independent, from immature to confident, messy to organized, etc. I couldnt talk more about his changes because I have nowhere to start. To state more objectively, since I am taking an Early Childhood Education degree at a college, I realize how precious and treasured Shamrock is to my boy. Shamrock fully applied the most crucial principle that NAEYC promoted, which is developmentally appropriate practice (DAP). DAP is throughout ECE, and I see how it does work in Shamrock. Teachers fully respect each individual, raise children at childrens own pace.Additionally, those teachers are so professional, gentle, kind, and patient. I say patience, which is not only they can wait; more importantly, they are good at observing childrens strengths and weaknesses. They know how to exert childrens strengths as well as help children overcome the weakness. Thats how my boy grew up there. I sincerely hope Shamrock can serve families with their faith, hope, and love, as usual.By the way, I also wish Shamrock could have their elementary department:) Shamrock is the best preschool I have ever seen!!!
