My friend took me here to shop around and I am sooo glad she did. I enjoy walking and shopping in 99 cent stores because all stores have some unique items that other stores dont have, plus saving $$$ and shopping is always fun. I did find a few items here that are really great, and of course I wont say what it is, because I dont want it to sell out.

PROS: This is one of the dollar stores I go to. The staff inside is usually nice and the place has a wide selection of items. Good amount of parking is here too.CONS: This place is always unorganized and everything is either on the floor or scattered among the shelves. I understand its a dollar store but other dollar stores arent like thisOVERALL: If you know what youre coming in for just come in and grab it but think twice if you have to look around for something

I like going to this store it has many things you need for the home and they are not expensive.

The staff is friendly but the lines are to long. This is impossible for the cashiers who are working one at a time.

Stained carpets, empty shelves, usually only one register open making work rough for cashiers and long lines for customers. This place and many other businesses in Bergenfield like the Wendys are failing miserably with bad stock and disinterested staff.

Im an avid Dollar Tree lover and hunt them down no count on them everywhere I travel. As Dollar Trees go this one was very small and missing some of the key things I went for... Tiny selection of storage bins, no toilet paper roll holder, no barrettes, no spatulas that werent red, all selections shaved down... Great for grab and go of many things but lacking in broader selection if youre particular as I am and need to be.I did find something very unusual that made me laugh... The adulting stickers! And something useful in a less common color - a sturdy brass color over the door hook, and most of the sizes of Ziploc bags Im accustomed to getting.

For a small store it does have a nice variety. Everything is a dollar. Theres a nice selection for back to school. Candles, paper products great selection of food. They do bring in new products so its not always the same. I always buy more than what I came in for. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Its a nice place to shop.

The manager Linda was most rude and utterly useless when I arrived to pick up my online order. She scanned over about 50 packages on the floor in 20 seconds and then pronounced its not here seeing she hardly even looked I looked and immediately found 1 of the 2 boxes. She went to check elsewhere while I found the other not far from the first.She got nasty when I suggested she could have looked a little harder. FIRST TIME CUSTOMER WHO WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR at this store.Take some anger management Linda, Im not your problem, I was your customer .

Went into get alcohol rubbing kind and floss aid not only is there no floss aid , this store always running out of stuff , a mouse came running down one of the isles with two female employees running after it asking where did it go? I am outta here at least for today LOL.There used to be another dollar store in closter but gave way to fancier stores like Whole Foods and others. Not another one close by 😞

Very helpful staff. Associate went out of her way to help us find an elusive Christmas item. The one long line went super fast.

This place has good prices on everything but they need to organize checkout a little better. I checked and was only 1 line, then when I got to check out there was another line open with people getting out that were still shopping while I was online before them. Needs to be organized better, also need more people to check customers out.

I meant to leave a review months ago so today after visiting Dollar Tree Store. I just want to congratulate Store Manager and staff for an excellent store showing. The store years ago was really Trashed by customers. Not kept up. Today walking in all products lined up at attention on the shelves. I know you have to go beyond the job to make it look so good. So appreciated by this Super Satisfied Customer!

This store is horrendous. It os filthy, constantly messy, boxes everywhere, shelves empty, workers are rude and unfriendly, manager is a complete waste. I have never seen such an ill mannered team nor such incompetence. Very poor business tactics and the store needs to be cleaned and properly stocked.

Just moved to Bergenfield and was excited to check out the dollar tree because I loved them on the west coast. Definitely wont be back to this one. Very unorganized with rude staff. Checkout lady named Reena rudely asked me to take things out of my basket I set on the belt. I only did this to save room so other customers could put theirs merchandise on it as well. Then she wouldnt tell me my total but had no problem chit chatting with the lady behind me who was obviously her friend.

Gr eat finds. Sometimes a bit too messy, but store overall has a good deal of items.

Plenty of employees, the manager (assuming) is usually running around the store every time I go there, which can be 1-3 times per week. Dont forget to check the freezers, some name brand items are sold in supermarkets at possible the same price, or somewhat higher, but also for up to 75% more than Dollar Trees everyday dollar! Also, check out the HBA section. I suffer from tension headaches, and the Assured brand works just as good as the high priced name brands. Same with the allergy pills. Why spend $20 on Zytrec when you can spend $4 for the same amount of pills that work the same (try before you stock up)?As for the store itself, I see employees stocking and straightening up the shelves constantly, but still see enough disorganization and empty shelves.Recently purchased a few mylar balloons which lasted longer than expected, and again, at a fraction of the cost, as compared to anywhere else. The woman that helped me was very nice and personable.I rarely get the same cashier, and they have all been courteous, no issues or dislikes about any of them.If all shelves were consistently well stocked, this location would get a 5 star rating.And when you are done shopping, you can stop across the street at the hot dog truck, if hes there 😊

This store is in really bad shape I went looking for a few items I normally but at DT and left with empty hands not good. The entire store is in shambles lots and lots of empty shelves even though the backroom doors were open and you can see a mountain of unopened boxes there must be at least six truck loads at least for I could see, didnt see the entire stock room. Before leaving ask the person on register of this location is closing down he said no we just dont employees and the general manager is not in. Please DM or anyone above him or her give this store some help they really needed. If you want to see this store turn around you gotta work differently Ive been around I actually been in retail for over 25yrs and this would be in the top 10 store Ive seen in this bad of shape. Cant believe there is still a true dollar store, and with some name brand items. They get you with volume, I usually spend 40+ dollars. You save on the balloons, the paper products, and youll discover all kinds of things you wouldnt think would be a dollar.

The restroom i s the most repulsive, filthy foul smelling moldy restroom in a store ive seen. The workers roll their eyes at one another and seem to hate their jobs. The store is a sloppy mess. They need to be embarrassed.
