I really like DeutschAkademie! I have done three levels with them (two onsite, one online) and have always found instructors that are interested in helping students learn and adapting to students needs. The activities in class are useful and inclusive.

I had a good experience with DeutschAkademie online intensive course starting at A1.1. I have now almost completed the A2.1 course. Had 2 different teachers (1 for A1 and another for A2), both very good and plenty of opportunity to ask questions. DeutschAkadamie also provide complimentary online help if needed. Just note that the intensive course is fast so be prepared to have to do plenty of revision on your own in order to remember all the grammar and vocabulary. Would recommend.

I have learnt german in three different institutes. The one provided here is far better than the other institutes. My teachers here are professional, passionate and motivating. I see no reason not to recommend this institute to you.

I took several German courses from 3 teachers at this school. (I dont know if they are still working there) :1. Oliver is a very competent teacher. I also enjoyed a lot at his speaking classes.2. Iman: Finger weg! I had really many German teachers so far. But I never had such terrible experience so far. I dont want to write all the details here but I recommend you to stay away!3. Stephanie: She is a very good and competent teacher. Ive learned a lot from her. Highly recommended!I think, the biggest problem here is that until I gave a 1 star at Google, secretary didnt really pay attention to me. I went there many times and made it clear that I didnt want to continue with the teacher no.2 for the next course. I was actually not the only one that didnt want to continue with her. Because of this, at the very last day they canceled the next course.They solved my problem, I had a great teacher at last. But the others were not offered a new course. They gave their money back.

I highly recommend Deutschakademie for all the resources they bring to the students or anyone who wants to learn German. Also, their assessment is great, they bring you all the information you need at anytime, they are super friendly and helpful (many thanks to Jana, who assessed me). The classes cover a lot of topics and my teachers have been good, friendly and professional (I took classes with other language schools and was faced with some very unkind and unprofessional teachers)! I took part in one of the online german classes. Though the course is online, it feels like being in a classroom physically. The teachers are super friendly and the classes are really fun and informative.

Recommend this online course for wanting to learn German. The staff and the instructors are all very supportive and attentive to detail. The zoom classes provide one on one attention, and are very interactive. There is only about 12 students in the class with is the perfect number. I feel everyone gets their questions answered. Payment was very easy, I set up an account with Transferwise and it arrived to their bank account in minutes. I am enrolled in A1.2 for next month. I cant wait for the next course. I started looking for an academy in Berlin for this year because in January Im going to live there as an aupair and I wanted to start learning before going, among all the academies I found this one that had an online format via zoom and it caught my attention, now Im finishing my intensive course of A.1 online and I dont know how the face to face classes will be (that I want to start when I live in Berlin in January) but I have to say that there is no difference to the ones via zoom, the classes are super fun, you learn a lot and in my case there is a very good vibe between all of us, we have connected very well and the teacher is a 10 (Im sure they are all equally great) she explains everything very well and is very interested in all of us participating and learning.The DeuthschAkademie is undoubtedly the best option for learning German while getting to know other cultures together with your classmates from all over the world

I got level 1.1 after being in Berlin 2 month. My knowledge of language was ZERO. I did not believe that It will be any progress. But it is happened after 4 weeks learning language with DeautschAcademie. Course is constructed from easy to more complicated steps with a lot of repeated exercises which help you easy to memorize words and grammatic rules. I really recommend this courses for everybody any age and any knowledge of language.

The staff to facilitate this has been fantastic. They have been flexible and very accommodative to get the right schedule for the classes.My teacher (Nadine) has been wonderful, insightful and very helping during online classes. I strongly recommend the classes for those who would like to bridge their learning asap in Berlin.

I 100% recommend Deutschakademie. I had doubts about starting online courses but its been really good. The staff and our teacher Nadine are nice, flexible and really helpful!

Ive made the course online A2.2. The book had 11 lessons and weve arrived to see only 6 of them entirely. For the rest the teacher pick up some of the subjects and try to finish them in the 3 last days of the course. Explanations about grammatical points were superficial.12 students per class is also too much, when you have a teacher that wants to make everybody speak all the time. Level of students was quite disimilar. Very few homework, and when we were requested to send written ones, they were never returned corrected. Time management should be improved in order to get a better value for money of the course.

My working schedules change constantly and I needed a course that could adapt to my shifts. This Academy and its online course are ideal for that. I started the level A1.1 and my„Lehrerin“ it’s super nice, smart and friendly. I already enrolled for the next level!

I had recently joined Deutsch Academy for my German lessons, I am doing A1.1 at the moment. When I joined I was really not sure if I could learn the language but with just a few classes from Deutsch Academy now I feel very confident. My teacher Louisa is amazing and her energy is contagious and makes the learning fun. The other staff in the front office is also very cooperative and friendly, they were so patient with me and answered all my repeated queries and addressed all my concerns with out feeling agitated. I am sure that I am going to continue with Deutsch Academy for all the future levels in German and I strongly recommend Deutsch Academy to anyone who wants to learn German.

AMAZING SCHOOL! Since the moment I was interested in joining and doign my research of schools, Deutscheakademie caught my attention by having very good communication with the prospect students. All very cleared and well explained. I joined the A1.1 course at the beginning of December and it has been a success. I am currently enrolled in an intensive course, I enjoy very much the vibe of the school, I like the material we use and also that even though the course in on ZOOM, it feels like presential. My professor is amazing, she has a very good energy and explains very clear . TOP TOP! Very satisfy and happy that i joined Deutscheakademie Wittenbergplatz and for sure will continue my nexts courses with them.

German efficiency at its best; cant recommend it enough! Wish other languages had courses this good: organised, structured, entertaining, balanced and professional teachers.

I made 4 months of intensive courses with them. Good teachers, valuable and reasonable. Mediocre organization (I left because they merged my group with another one, without prior notice, between A2 and B1. The new group was good, and the new teacher also. BUT it was a different approach, a different book and the course started from day 1 as nothing happened. No prior notice, no prior meetings to assess the level or to explain what could change in the next four weeks) after I wrote in the 1st week course evaluation my concerns, they told me I could change class as a solution, but each class would have had the same book and use the same different from prior approach . No one was aware of the fact that half of the group could feel disconfort due to all the sudden changes. I found it not serious, because as long as you use more than one book and more than one approach, it is your responsibility, as a school, to ensure the continuity of the formation offer.So overall worth the price, BUT be aware that they do not assure you continuity in the teaching and method.

I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to learn German. The teachers are very lovely people and the staff really tries their best to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. Its definitely worth it.

Hi to all students, base on my experiences before I worried that would not wok for me, but I tried the online course and I really liked. It almost the same as in house course. Because the teacher did group work and she was writing in the chat, she sent us different materials via email. You all should try it!

Excellent school. Very professional and motivated teachers. Students from all over the world, very interesting mix and motivated students as well. Most of the staff from the reception are very friendly and willing to find a fast solution to whenever theres a problem. The reason Ill give a four is because I noticed some teachers arent satisfied with the book they are using in class. Also because of the two rooms which are inside another rooms, me and another colleague and teachers found it pretty inconvenient as sometime we have to disturb the other class in order to get in/out. Apart of that I would give definitely a five especially for the service in general and excellent teachers. ;)Thank you for your support on my learning process.

The service offered is great and the prices are good; taking into account the quality of the lessons and the location, it’s the cheapest of all indeed. Unlike other schools, the care to the costumer is high. Without making calls or writing emails, you can find all infos needed on the website.Note: don’t wait for the last 2weeks to book a course otherwise you couldn’t get a spot!

I really like the class, very dynamic and focus on conversation. I feel is very easy to memorize vocabulary with the methods of repeating and reading, and lots is homework what forced me to study at home. The size of the class make it possible to have enough personal attention. I would like to have a final test tho, is the only thing I would add.

My experience with DeutschAkademie is really great. I have completed my first course and highly recommend the school for any level of students studying German. Small classes, experienced teachers, all aspects of language are presented and taught at a high level. The exercises are practical and very useful. The staff is also very welcoming, time of courses is split into 4 classes so that it is possible to select the most suitable one.As for the progress itself, I do feel a huge progress in my language level after first 4 weeks and will continue for sure with this school.

Very good, affordable language school. Staff was nice, teachers were very good. They have students buy a book to work in, which helps a lot to understand the grammar, gives examples and lets you practise.Usual course is 3h per day, 4 days a week.

I am starting now but I am enjoying it a lot. Everyone is very nice and the prices are lower than the other schools. My teacher is very funny and makes the classes very interesting. I would recommend it!

I am learning grammar course 1st part. Thomas is well organised teacher. It gave me more understanding of the grammar basic rules. The class goes more on fun. The class size is pretty convenient. Im doing a semi intensive course in the evening ( 2 times a week, 3 hours). This study format is perfect for anyone who wants to study or work at the same time and still would like to have a free evening once in a while. The teachers are good and professional and I still haven had any organizational issue! It just works really well for me

I have been going to the Deutsche Akademie in Berlin Wittenbergplatz for three months now and I have had nothing but great experiences with the teachers and staff. Everyone is super helpful and accommodating. The A1 course are more relaxing and have this ease-into strategy, where as the A2 is a bit more challenging. Also, the teachers change every course (you of course can ask the school), which I find super helpful.

Joined for the B2.2 class and it was great: super interesting teacher and topics, supportive staff and relevant level placement IMO. Would definitely recommend it!
