SNS is such a wonderful preschool for my two children! The teachers are loving, kind and creative. It is a welcoming atmosphere and the involvement of parents keeps everyone grounded. I love being able to participate as a volunteer once per month so I can better understand my kids daily experience. I would highly recommend the school to anyone in the Bethesda area!

My husband and I were a little worried about how our very shy child would transition to school, but she is absolutely thriving in Suburbans play based environment. The teachers are wonderful and the outdoor property where the kids spend much of their day is incredible.

We absolutely love Suburban Nursery School! I have one child in the pre-k class and one in the 2s. We have been so impressed by the teachers and community at this school. The teachers prioritize outdoor play and are all so creative. In the classroom, the kids bake together, do science experiments, create messy art projects and enjoy a weekly movement class and bi-weekly music class. I love co-oping in the classroom and getting to know the other children and parents, as well as gaining insight into how my child behaves in the group setting. I use the early morning drop-off option when I need to get to an early appointment and the kids love it.I truly feel that we picked the best school for my family and that both kids are in great hands at Suburban Nursery School!

Wonderful preschool with loving teachers and a great community of families. The school itself is great as well, with lots of outdoor areas to play.

I have had three children attend Suburban Nursery School and we could not have found a better place for their first school experience. From the teachers to the parent community to the facilities we cannot say enough good things about Suburban. Moreover, by the end of their four year old year Suburban well prepared each of them for kindergarten both academically and socially. We love Suburban and happily recommend it to our friends and neighbors!

I love the play based philosophy of this nursery school. My daughter thrived in her 2 year old classroom and is learning so much this year in her 3 year old classroom. It is a great school for parents who want to be involved and know what there kid is up to.

Definitely the best preschool in the area. Teachers are very experienced and easy to approach. The co-oping community is one of a kind. Everybody joins in and gives the best for the children! Recommended 100%!

I love suburban nursery school! It is a wonderful environment and community for both child and family. The teachers are superb and truly experienced in all that is toddler. I was a bit nervous about the co-op environment and was (and still) pleasantly surprised by how much my child enjoys it and how much I enjoy it. Without question It has made me a better parent. The sunny facilities are refreshing and the playground/basketball court/soccer field/trees are wonderful for the young ones. HIGHLY recommended!

I never have to worry when dropping off my daughter for school at Suburban. She always has a smile on her face when I drop her off and when I pick her up. Amazing school with a beautiful playground and open space, great classrooms and awesome teachers!

My wife and I love Suburban. Its so much more than the average pre-K school, it really feels like a community. Our child is so happy here and I recommend the school for any family that has the ability to join.

My children wake up every day and ask if they can go to nursery school. They love it! It is amazing to see what they are learning and how the lessons of nursery school translate to our life at home. My three year old now clears his plate from the table without being asked. It is part of our routine. He recently finished a lesson on anatomy and can talk about his brain as a computer and heart as a pump. My two year old twins love their teacher, Ms. Ellen, and spend time cooking almost every week. We made snow ice cream at nursery school this winter and it definitely showed up again at home, helping us through some of the restless snow days at home. The teachers at SNS love and care for my children. I learn so much about child development and encouraging my children from them. There is a great sense of community and I love being in the classroom to co-op. The outside playground area is amazing and they truly have room to run and explore. We love SNS!

Beyond its incredible loving and experienced teachers, this school has been a wonderful introduction to school for my children. They are always excited to go to school each day to play and learn side-by-side with their friends. My eldest daughter has attended all three years at the school and without a doubt, she is ready for kindergarten- both socially and academically. I have also benefited from this close-knit and supportive school community and enjoyed participating in my daughters first school experiences while co-oping in their classrooms. Being in the classroom and with other parents, I have learned so many parenting tools. The light-filled classrooms and expansive school grounds are the perfect place for my children to learn and explore. I couldnt be happier.

With two children having attended SNS, we have found this school to be a welcoming, professional, and wonderful place over the last 6 years. I have benefitted immensely from the wisdom of the teachers in tackling the challenges of parenting. In addition, my children have thrived in learning to communicate and function in the classroom environment. They had fun, made many friends, and were well prepared to transition into Kindergarten (so much so that the K teachers compliment them on their classroom behavior, brightness and enthusiasm!) The teachers are loving, responsible, and experienced. The facility is clean, bright, spacious, and safe. The parents are friendly and invested in helping the school be the best it can be. In short, dont hesitate to consider this school when choosing a place for your precious little one. Its all we expected when joining years ago, and so much more!

Both of my kids love SNS! all the teachers are great and the chemistry at the school makes this place feel like family!

We came across Suburban Nursery School for our daughters pre-K year and agree we wish we had known about it when she was 2 or 3! (They have classes from 2-4years). We wanted somewhere that let kids play and be outside, and was welcoming for our daughter and us. SNS fits this perfectly. Most of the families in our daughters class knew each other from the prior year, but within a few weeks of SNS we felt more at home and part of a community than the previous nursery schools wed used for either of our kids.The co-opting is a great chance to see the kids doing their thing and fosters the community feeling. And for those with less flexibility they have different tuitions which is nice, and a nursery for babies for parents that are co-opting. We dont have a baby but it looks comfy and well stocked. Plus you are right there if needed.They also have an enrichment program that you can do from end of their primary class til 3pm. We use the enrichment a few days a week, and its been a success as well.Our daughter feels comfortable, is learning new skills, and has fun. Every day she wants to go! The initial scare of co-opting was a hurdle for us, but so glad we did. Highly recommend SNS!

We came from Europe, I enrolled both my boys here in Suburban and every day Im thankfull for the moment I sat in front of my computer and googled this school. This is a preschool heaven!!!! Teachers are loving and highly profesional and school facility is great. We found lifelong friends here and will be very hard to leave all the teachers, kids and parents behing when we leave next year. This school is the perfect place for your kids. We started with Mrs. Y and Mrs. Meltzer last year (with both my boys), we continued with Mrs. Warthen and next school year well move back to Mrs. Meltzer classroom. They all are different but loved by both my kids. I Highly recommended this school!!!!
