Shady shady shady. Changed from 2 to 1 star. Brand new guitar player here. I have been looking for a specific starter Yamaha for $200. Sam Ash and Guitar Center have them new for that price but they are back ordered. I was super excited to find that Guitar Villa had one in stock online. I went to pick it up and noticed that it had a few marks on it. I looked at my receipt and saw it said “used”. I went back in the store to return it because no where on their site or on my online receipt did it have this guitar labeled as used (Update: They tried to say I over looked it but I had screenshots to prove otherwise). They weren’t able to figure out how to refund it since I bought it online.... I didn’t see any comparable in price and quality for an exchange. I wanted this to be my go to place but definitely not happy with my experience. Will never be back and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

They were really cool people helped me pick out a guitar and even played it for me! Absolutely recommend for all levels especially beginners

I live an hour away from GuitarVilla. And I will always make the drive-up from where I live because I love their store and services. Everybody who works there are extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. John the owner is a very kind person who cares about his customers and their gear.Speaking of gear. Johns/GuitarVillas line of custom made Guitars and Bass Guitars are amazing. I own one of their 50s style P-Basses and I love It. I highly recommend GuitarVilla to anybody who wants a nice, classy, & retro mom and pop guitar store thats worth giving the business to.

Cool place not near much else. I would highly recommend going if youre in town. They have a fantastic selection of guitars and accessories. I picked up a pedal there and was able to try it out before buying. The guy working was very nice and accommodating and we had a great conversation. I will be back next time Im in the area.

I’d really love to know what happened to the Gibson guitar I brought in for my father 6 months ago. I brought it in the see how much it was worth.they said it will take a couple weeks due to so many guitars they had to look at and that they would give me a call. I called a few times and no one ever seemed to know what I was talking about. Then someone finally knew and said it wasn’t looked at yet, Itd been 2 months by then. Said again they’d call, never did. Went in to pick it up because they obviously weren’t going to look at it and we were tired of waiting. And then somehow they couldn’t locate it????? Said they’d call when they found it and never did!!! Shady place if you ask me.

More than just guitars!! They were also able to get new keys made for my accordion. John was able to get it done for me!The accordion was so old, the button keys were deteriorating, some were broken, others were missing. He was able to have all new keys re-casted and replaced.It sounds great!(I just need to practice it more)

Snarky and rude. Kind of like they think theyre the only people whove ever played or know anything about guitars. Will avoid in the future based on treatment, their manners, and principle. Not sure why some people like this feel the need to talk down to others and act out some sad superiority complex. Hawks has less but are way nicer, but try Dave Phillips as well. Better then putting up with poser posh bourgeois boutique mindsets like this.

Just stopped in while traveling. Super-helpful and knowledgeable young man at the counter. Im sorry I dont remember his name. The VibraWood guitars they make here (they sell others, too) look awesome and the one I played was amazing.

When I went to get my guitar restringed I came back the next day and my good picks were gone. Now I know might be thinking they just fell out or something but no. I know they didnt just fall out because all of my good picks were no where to be found all of my bad picks were still there untouched. Even a pick of the same type which I kept in the same place as all my other picks that was beaten up from playing it too hard was still in the case when I got my guitar back.

Well priced instruments. Overpriced repairs. Buy instrument here, but get em repaired at Dave Phillips. They lack ingenuity in the repair department, and think they need to order all original parts for cheap old guitars. Either that, or they are just trying to get you to buy a new one. Regardless great selection of cheap instruments and handmade wonders. Just dont ask em to fix your old beater or youll wanna puke!

Went in for acoustic strings. Limited older stock available. Would have better choice at Dave Phillips or even GC.

Very rude repair people. The repair man called my custom Carvin SH## and said it would be better as a wall hanging. Took it to a luthier who stated a little twist, but definitely repairable. How dare a store personnel call someone’s instrument sh## ? Really? Classless.

My son was looking for a keyboard piano, they have a great selection, its a big music store. Service was great.
