I was waitlisted like many families to get into a certain program that was the only age appropriate option for my son. I would check weekly for new sessions and was happy when I was able to actually enroll. After the enrollment was accepted, I was told it was done in error and that my son was not accepted into the program. The individual (the main teacher of the program) did not make any effort to work with me to find a solution (another class?) and gave me no information on how to receive a refund. I could barely get a word in edgewise and her tone was patronizing and rude. I had to ask if I could speak, just to ask a question. Unfortunately customer service is not one of the strengths offered at this establishment. Due to the error with IT and the lack of openings for families, it seems like staffing and technical issues are also a problem, even though I was told these programs are managed very carefully.

A Waldorf education is the best type education I can offer my children. Im so glad to have this amazing community in Boston North Shore. My children love this school. They get to spend time outdoors, they are learning from experience, from their hearts. They are creating, doing, making, discovering, and all this builds confidence. I see it every day. Thank you for this school and this community, could not be happier with my overall experience.

In a world that values busy and blindly barreling ahead at full speed, the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm has been a peaceful - yet amazingly stimulating - environment for my sons in the nursery program. Coupled with art and cooking and hands-on play in the classroom, my kids spend hours every day tromping through the gorgeous Olmsted-designed campus. My kids love going to this school - and I love seeing them grow smarter, kinder, and more curious in the schools care.

My daughter is 4 years old and weve been fortunate enough to have spent the last 2 years at the Waldorf School at Moraine. At a surface level, the campus, over 200 acres of woodlands, is every childs dream but beyond this, this daily access truly fosters an appreciation of nature. In the classrooms, very quickly one observes a reverence towards the children that isnt common and yet, it lends itself to creating the most nurturing and empowering environment in which children thrive. Without a doubt, Waldorf has one of the best early education programs around.

I am so happy that we found this school eight years ago for our two daughters even after trying a local Montessori school. Our girls continue to receive a full rounded education that will stand to them for the rest of their lives and not just in the work place. They have a love for learning that I wish I had gotten from my education.

My son is a bright, well-rounded student who began this year as a fifth grader. He is very very happy and growing so many parts of himself - as an artist, scientist, naturalist, performer, historian, performer, friend, athlete, and more. I wish I had looked into the school earlier. What a gift!

This school redefines modern education by utilizing a tried and true methodology of teaching and engaging the whole child. They genuinely love children and treat them with enormous respect. Children blossom into their full potential here and develop a life long love of learning.

This school has been an incredible blessing for my son and our whole family. Each time I read an article about the latest cutting edge research about the best ways to teach children and new information about how children learn, I see yet again that the Waldorf Curriculum has been following these best practices for the last 150 years. The curriculum incorporates so much hands-on, experiential education and teaches the child to think deeply and critically, rather than just to recite facts. Cannot recommend this school highly enough.
