I tried to get my daughter registered here . They denied me. I live on Foster Lane & it seems that the people who have kids here drive way too fast up & down the street.

My daugther has been going to discovery for almost a year now. She is in with the toddlers now, and while I cant say that Im love it with it, I have been happy enough to stay. They dont inform me of her day in much detail when I pick her up (usually just say she had a good day) and her hair and face are usually a mess. However, she seems to really enjoy it and the staff are very caring toward her. I wish that they had more room and a better play area for that age group - it is just a big open room. For the price of tuition I feel like there should be more interactive play and learning. However, I am very excited for when she turns 2 and moves over into the big kids barn. I believe she will have more learning experiences there and more interaction, at least this is my hope. Also, the owner is a great lady, and seems to care for all the children there. There are also some great staff in the toddler room, and my daughter has grown very fond of them.

This place is horrible. Its cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The owner and her family that work the daycare with her are horrible people. One of them flat out threatened my child and I had to pull my so from there. And even with the incident that made me obviously leave the owner still tried to charge me for the last 2 weeks he was there after admitting to what happens. Horrible people. Not who you want watching your kids I assure you. Pick any place over this one if you care about your child. And especially stay away from the infant side as to that is where the unstable worker is. Ide name drop all of them but my comment just gets deleted.

While talking to one of my good friends that has worked there they informed me that this place was the worst place they have ever worked! The employees were not nice to them or the children. Cussing at the children was one of the many things she witnessed while working there, i will not mention the physical things that have occured. I do not recomend taking your child here at all.

As someone who lives on this same street, the people who pick up and drop off, for the most part, do not respect the speed limit or watch for kids along the street. Just today, as my kids were riding their bikes home from school, a car pulling out of their driveway just about hit them. As I was watching, the kids werent even in the actual road, they were on the side and the lady pulling out didnt even pay attention. I really wish that they would treat this neighborhood like its theirs and how they would want people to act around their kids and their areas around their own homes.

I dont feel the other poster about the negligent drivers pertains to the daycare itself, or the quality of the business so to rate it with only one star when they dont obviously or have never used the services is off base. That being said, the staff is friendly, the kids do daily learning activities and get plenty of physical exercise on the playground. I dont have to worry whether my child is mistreated - or worse- because there are so many people working there it would get reported. It is a family owned business and is treated as such.

I have been there right after school when I was 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 and 10 and 11 and 12. So I have to this daycare like 12 years.
