Kims Taekwondo Center is a wonderful place to study Taekwondo in a fun, professional, and inclusive manner. The instructors are well-known and experienced and are great at helping students of all levels succeed. The school has helped me to build confidence as well as to grow physically and mentally. Both the students and the instructors alike are friendly and supportive making this a great place for families and adults of all ages. I would highly recommend this school whether you are just starting out or are experienced and wanting to take your Taekwondo to the next level.

We recently enrolled our 8 year old son and we couldnt be happier. Grandmaster and Master Kim are incredible people and are terrific leaders. Its only been a few weeks that our son has been attending, but we have seem him grow in respect and self-confidence in that short amount of time. If you are looking for a truly professional school look no further! Kims Taekwondo is a top notch school that is not only fun but competitively priced. I checked out several Martial Arts schools in the area, sitting in on classes when possible, and I knew when I walked in the door this place was different! You cant beat learning a Korean Martial Art from a Korean Master and Grand Master who have been teaching in Minnesota since 1971! Dont just take my word for it, stop in and watch a class for yourself and I promise youll be hooked!

Our three boys joined in December and have really enjoyed learning TKD. Classes are well structured and provide good variation in activities to learn the skills taught by Master Kim. We’ve seen their confidence grow as their skills improve in short time. I’d definitely recommend checking this place out!

My family has come to this school for 3 generations and we keep coming back. Grandmaster has been a staple of my past and Master Kim maintains this superior style of martial arts education. No other school can compare.

For the person writing a review on the bathrooms, please choose to address the issue with the instructor directly. This a very passive aggressive way to do it. And the chairs... really? If the instructors are great like you say, at least give them a 3 star review.Kims Taekwondo is one of the prime schools in the state and is well respected in the community. A group of us just went to South Korea recently and we got the red carpet treatment because Grandmaster is so well known over in Korea in the TKD community. Ive had nothing but good experiences at this Dojang. This is like a gym after all, so yes, its not going to be as clean as a restaurant, but if theres a problem speak up.

Good place to train. Family friendly. Great for the while family to work out together.

I started taking Master Kims taekwondo class as an elective course at the UofM. I enjoyed it so much that I joined Kims Taekwondo Center in August to further my training where the bar was set higher than on campus. Master Aaron Kim is pretty awesome although Grand Master can be intimidating but he means well with his tough love. The quality of their teaching is superb! Another thing I like is the black belts students who give tips and advices on how I can improve on form and techniques. Im always leaving class feeling better physically, mentally, and spiritually. The environment is not only family friendly but also great for adults with no family like myself.

Ive met a lot of friends and get a lot of support from other students and the instructors. This is one of the best schools in MN.
