Jody is absolutely fabulous! In one lesson with her I have grown more than I have in several lessons with other teachers. She makes you feel very comfortable and calm and very secure. This is one of the most important things I feel I needed from a singing teacher. Thanks so much to Jodie! I would definitely recommend her to anybody who wants to grow as a singer, or is prepping for any kind of audition.

Finding Jodie has been such a blessing for my daughter who has fallen in love with musical theatre! Jodie has introduced her to many unique songs that fit her voice perfectly! She loves coming for voice lessons and gets great feedback on how to improve acting out the song! I can tell her confidence grows more each time! She is SO excited to be joining Jodie this summer for her very first Making It On Broadway intensive!

My daughter started studying with Jodie when she was 5 years old. Jodie has been amazing! My daughters vocal growth and ability has grown immensely. Jodie is the real deal. She is a fantastic vocal teacher and her knowledge of picking the right songs for your voice is amazing. She is true Broadway star ! Highly recommend!

Jodie always provides the perfect song choices for any occasion. For applying to colleges she has the perfect rep for your prescreens as well. I’ve experienced so much growth working with Jodie over the years and as an actor improving is your main goal. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone who is in need of new rep, or a good vocal/acting coach.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Jodie conducted herself in very inappropriately fashion - she texts students and speaks behind other students backs. She literally makes fun of children. After looking into her past she has been fired from numerous positions (Oxbridge school to name one). If I only knew this prior to subjecting my child to her. She is vile.UPDATE - Response to owner since I can’t respond to your response to me claiming my child never took from you. I know that you take reviews seriously as you ask students to review you upon meeting the students for the first time and you also text students asking to review you to make sure your ratings stay at 5 stars. Look at how your student put up a review at the same time as you responded to my review - look at the time stamps. I was just giving my honest opinion. I am sure you wouldn’t like for me to post the texts and the videos on google to prove of what you do. I stand by my review.

Jodie is so knowledgable when it comes to vocal technique. She immediately put me at ease and allowed me to open up to the parts of my voice that I have been uncomfortable with in the past. In just one lesson we were able to solve several vowel issues that I have struggled with for years. I will definitely be back to continue training!

I’ve been working with Jodie since March of 2020 and she has taught me so much. I love her so much and she has made me a better singer and performer thank you Jodie for everything and all the opportunities you have given me!

Jodie failed to show up to my first lesson and only cancelled after I was waiting at her door for 10 mins. I was disappointed but I wanted to have a lesson nonetheless. The next lesson she rescheduled the day of for two days later so I rearranged my schedule and then she cancelled on me again a few hours before the lesson! I realized after the fact that she never reimbursed me for the no-show lesson and at this point I got 2 refunds and I have moved on to someone more professional. Horribly disappointed by her actions and lack of reasonable customer service.

We moved to Boca from Ohio a few years ago. I needed to find someone to work with my daughter but I knew no one. Crazy, but I reached out to someone back home in Ohio and they said, Do you happen to be close to Boca? Because there is this amazing woman named Jodie who teaches! I booked her the next week for my daughter and we could not have been happier. Not only is Jodie an excellent vocal and acting coach, but she also picks the best songs to fit each individuals personality. My daughter is now a rising freshman and is a finalist for a Fine Arts Scholarship at one of the top private schools in the area. Jodie really helped her act her song for the audition. The intensives are also unbelievable! The students work with Broadway Stars and learn so much in all of the classes they attend. Jodie is truly a pro at what she does, we are so lucky to have her!

I can not say enough how happy I and my daughter are that we found Jodie. Jodie is not only an amazing teacher, she’s an amazing person. My daughter lives for her lessons every week. Her voice, performance skills and most importantly, confidence have improved exponentially in just a few months. Our only regret is not having found Jodie sooner. We absolutely love her.

I needed Jodie for some last minute audition prep and I am so happy I solicited her help. I was auditioning for Cabaret The Musical and Jodie helped me find the perfect song and provided me ample resources to access the sheet music and accompaniment. She helped me get out of my head and ease into this character I wanted so badly. I was crafting this perfect (but deluded) image of what I thought the directors wanted and Jodie snapped me out of that bad habit by encouraging me to just be myself and tell a truthful story. On top of extremely valuable acting tips, Jodie always warmed up my voice and gave me great advice on vowel adjustment and the releasing of tension. Her studio is quaint and peaceful and she is exciting, personable, and fun to be around. With my new confidence and her instruction, I landed the lead role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret!

If you would like an unprofessional voice coach who cancels appointments without warning and sends text messages with foul language this is the person for you. We got soooo much more out of a 30 minute session with our daughters new voice coach than we did in multiple sessions with Jodie -- who is so full of herself she has no room for anyone else.
