When I first got to Jeffrey I couldn’t hit a note on pitch. Although it was very discouraging to be in that place initially, Jeffrey was a beaming light of encouragement and enthusiasm that made me feel like progress was definitely attainable. We have been singing for 3 months now and the progress I’ve made is immeasurable! I love singing and and practicing and if you are looking for a therapeutic way to go to a place where your body and soul meet, I highly recommend singing lessons with Jeffrey!

I have never felt more welcomed at a music school than at the Zagaria Vocal Academy. I always learn a lot and have truly seen the improvement in myself since Ive been there. Jeffery is extremely passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to the voice. With his scientific background and knowledge of anatomy, all of the techniques we practice are thoroughly executed and explained. During my two years here at Zagaria Vocal Academy I have gained confidence and control in my voice, as well as my own unique sound. I have learned many important lessons on the maintenance and growth of ones vocal abilities through the Zagaria vocal method. Jeffrey, the owner has vocalizing down to a science and has opened my eyes to the practice that is necessary in order to see improvements. I feel very blessed to have ended up at this academy.

I took group guitar lessons with Jeffrey for a few months and very much enjoyed his ability to give specific instruction as well as his willingness to cater his teaching style to what each student needed. The lessons were very professional and helped me get a great start to learning an instrument that I now love playing all the time.

My two sons have taken piano lessons with Jeffrey for several years. Jeffrey has proven to be a wonderful teacher and role model. His standards are high and my sons’ piano skills excelled under his tutelage. We live in Massachusetts and have had the lessons via Skype from the beginning. We get the high-level quality of his lessons without any time spent commuting. Skype lessons have worked out beautifully for my kids over the years. I feel very fortunate that my sons have been taught by such an exceptional person.

Ive been working with Jeffrey for years now. He helped my bring my voice back after I overused it to the point where I had a lost most of my range. He helped me rebuild my foundation, gain control, and get me to a place where I am playing 2-3 gigs a week now. He truly has an understanding for the voice like no one Ive worked with before. I started working with Jeffrey five months ago on a whim and it was easily one of the best decisions I have made. The Zagaria Method opened my mind to new ways of gaining control over my voice, specially due to my background in music. Having developed myself for over 8 years in what most consider a true detriment to my voice - metal/hardcore - I was sure that I had destroyed any singing voice I could hope to have.We went back to basics and I learned how to save my voice for my performances and add singing to my skill set. I can happily say that I have found my singing voice and that it is inarguable that its made my original vocal style 10x better and safer.I truly recommend it to anyone to has ever wanted to pursue music professionally or personally. I began working with Jeffrey five years ago at the age of 13. I had tried my luck with other piano teachers before Jeffrey, but I never felt I was getting anywhere. In the past five years, I have learned more with Jeffrey than I could have imagined! Right from the start he was very personable, and knew exactly where to start based off of my skill level. Through extensive work in reading sheet music and diving into scales and chords, my playing excelled from Mary Had a Little Lamb to songs such as The Entertainer and Fur Elise. He made reading music enjoyable by incorporating my favorite pop songs like Clocks by Coldplay and Dont Stop Believin by Journey. As I prepare to leave for college, I am so grateful to have been able to work with Jeffrey and learn piano skills that I will carry with me for the rest of my life!
