Honestly, it was fun attending PBSC! Got my AA there and probably enjoyed the most all the student organizations! Met so many people, made lots of friends and got my degree. The only issue was that they cancelled some of the honors classes because not enough of people signed up so thats why 4 stars. Also, its so hard to get into their nursing program. ;(

Honestly its not that bad and its great to get your A.A. here for a smooth transfer for your B.A. somewhere else (If desired). They also have good tutoring services and the professors are quite good for the most part. It is what you make of it but if you put in the work its easy. I had bad high school grades so this was my only option to transfer and it works just fine.

This review is based on my experience with the phone lines. So, trying to call to ask a simple question. I go through the prompt to reach someone in Admissions. After you click the key, the robot reads if youd like to make a call, hang up and call again. Seriously....? Yes, thats why I called in the first place..to call...

I received my associates degree here (2 year degree) and it was the best decision I ever made! The class sizes are small which is really helpful, and for the most part I was able to communicate with my professors easily after class if I ever had any questions. I used the tutoring service included in my tuition for math, chemistry, and english papers! I felt that I was prepared well because I was accepted to a university to continue with a bachelors degree which will take me another 2 years. I really believe that your experience here is what you make of it. Show up to class, ask questions, do the work and you will succeed :)

If you want see an advisor I suggest you visit more than one and DO NOT go see SHERRY FLETCHER!! She is an African American woman with short curly hair and walks fast with a hop skip, and usually wears short dresses even though she appears to be 65 years of age. She will take you in circles and even recommended classes you DO NOT NEED. I went in today and I ended up having to have her go through what few classes I have left to finally leave this hell hole. She blocked me from taking any other courses except for the one class that she chose for me to take in fall semester. I refused to only be able to take one course in the semester especially since I am almost done with school. I went to her to tell her to remove whatever lock she has on class registration and she refused! I have never been so angry with another human being. Now I have to go through the Dean to explain the situation and try to get it handled. Please if you know what’s best for you DO NOT go to SHERRY FLETCHER for advising. And make sure u see multiple advisors before u go picking classes because they will set you back.

The computer lab uses IT books that are years old, totally outdated with exercises on programs whose technology is no longer used. The adjunct professors dont give a hoot, I guess teaching is just a job for wanna--be techies. What a waste of our most precious commodity- time. Years of a persons life- wasted.

I havent even started my classes yet and I already Wanna get out of here. I have never seen such an unorganized and uniformed staff. I was told by the financial aid department that I would receive free tuition from financial aid AND be sent extra money for my first semester. I was thrilled until last night, the day before my first class, I was sent an email that said I was dropped from all my classes due to lack of payment.....okay....? I go there the next morning to ask what happened and if I could get my classes back and they tell me that my financial aid didnt cover everything and we still owed them like $ 100 or something petty like that so thats why they dropped me. And I was like, why didnt you warn me rather then sending me email right before class?? I received no worning or anything from them. And of course my spot wasnt taken in all of my classes so I couldnt get back in. So basically we were given false information and then kicked out of class because of THEIR mistake. So I had to choose a whole new schedule that was different from my first choice. They didnt even do anything to make up for their mistake other than tell me I need to choose new classes when there were hardly any classes left. I am disgusted by this school and by how unorganized and unhelpful they are. The guidance office is not helpful either so if you are someone who is unsure of your major or just need extra help dont go here!! The councelors literally just sit there and stare at you as you pick your classes and give no advice unless you dig it out of them. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this school and unfortunately for me, at this point its to late to apply anywhere else...

The worst admissions and school staff ive ever seen Lazy, unmotivated , disrespectful. teachers are good and care. broward college was alot better.. do not go here if you have another option

The office is super unorganized. Ive wasted a year because of them and I have had to breathe down their neck just to get paperwork done CORRECTLY. I cant micromanage administration and be a successful student.

Where to begin with this review. Well first off if you are actually planning to go to college to receive higher learning then PBSC is not the place to go. I know what you may be thinking i got a couple of friends that go there, they say its not that bad. Well this is my second month attending this sorry excuse for an educational intuition. Let me begin by saying the classes being taught by these so called professors are the most boring, uninformative, and absolute waste of time and money. Also this school charges a LOT of money for these pointless classes. I was recently in California and was going to attend Santa Monica College. One of the best colleges in the country and their prices both in state and out of state are actually cheaper than PBSC. I could keep going on but ill end this review here, by saying if your thinking about going to college and your on the fence about weather or not to go to PBSC. DONT! Turn around and run. You would probably be better off going to one of those crappy places like Everst university or one of those other late night college ads.

Dont ever try and call because they never answer. good luck with trying to transfer schools because they dont send youre transcripts either.

Went to go get my official transcript. only one person was working and there were 10 people ahead of me. of course i had to wait, i had to fill out form when i got to the window, then I had to go back to the line again, and once again only one person was working so go figure. I ended up leaving. I have to come back on monday because they were closing.
