While I was at the school, I saw cockroaches in the bathroom & they were very dirty. Also- the turnover with the teachers is high which leads me to believe it is a toxic environment. How are students supposed to learn when consistency is paramount & each teacher has a different style? I also noticed a large number of students with only one teacher on the floor. It seems unfair and unreasonable given the cost of such high tuition. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone I know, and would look elsewhere if you’re interested in beauty school.

I’ve been going to Cozmo for a few years and I’m always impressed with the professionalism of the students, instructors, and staff. Bella recently colored, cut and styled my curly hair. This is my fourth year here in Bonita Springs - I am a snow bird - when I discovered Cozmo I was so thrilled as I had been going to a school at home. I am happy to say that this school far surpasses any other school or for that fact any other salon I have been to in the past!! I have been getting services done at Cozmo Beauty School for the past few years. I am a snowbird who also gets services at a beauty school where I am from and have for several years. My experience with Cozmo Beauty School ranks right up there with my local establishment which also provides superb client procedures and professional care. At Cozmo they listen to your preferences and desired outcomes and do what is necessary to achieve them. The students are prepared to perform client services. The knowledgeable instructors are there every step of the way and can assist with your questions or how to achieve your desired outcome. My husband and son also get their haircuts there. My son has very tightly curled hair which presents different cutting techniques and the students do a superb job with this challenge. In conclusion, I recommend Cozmo Beauty School 100%. I have been going here for years. The teachers and students are wonderful as are the rest of the staff. Prices are reasonable. I cant afford the other salons that charge way too much. I highly recommend this place. Remember, since it is a school the visit will take longer. Worth the time if you want good results.

I was thrilled with my experience at Cozmo! I have very long hair, and had not had anything done to it for quite some time due to a bad experience with a hairdresser in the past. My student tech, Susan, was very patient with me! We talked about exactly what I wanted to have done, and she did it, explaining the process every step of the way. Her instructor was never far away, and I felt very relaxed and comfortable the entire time that I was there. The salon was immaculate, the reception area warm and friendly, and I had nearly zero wait time for my appointment... The pricing is amazing! I am looking forward to my next visit!

Its always a good day at Cozmo! I absolutely love my hair! I get dye, partial highlights, cut and blow dry for 1/2 the price of our local fancy salons. I know people fear going to a school, but I assure you that students are closely monitored by their floor managers/teachers and I have to give a huge shout out to Ms. Kelly. With your guidance and a fantastic student, my hair has never looked better. Best yet! Always looking forward to returning. Plus, these students need to hours to graduate...help them out in reaching their goals!!!!

My experience at Cozmo was very positive. The student stylist was on time and greeted me warmly. She was gentle while coloring my hair, yet worked at a steady pace. The instructor checked back regularly and gave the student feedback which was encouraging, and rightly so. My color came out perfectly and I will be returning. I cannot yet award five stars as there wasnt time to blowdry and style my hair, so I dont know how good a job that would have been. With every cosmetology school Ive been serviced at, I have always had to rewash and restyle my hair. I look forward to trying that service and a facial at Cozmo as well.

I have been going to Cozmos for over a year now and have been very pleased with all of their services. The coloring is one of the best services and everyone comments how great my hair looks. The hair cuts are great too and you can’t beat the price. My hair stylist is Julie and she is fantastic. She is a perfectionist but she is also quick. Everyone is very professional and friendly.

I also get great care by each stylist and the teachers that are ensuring things are being understood and done right! I was sick of going to local salons and no matter what I paid, never getting what I wanted. I decided to try Cozmo Beauty School, and was thrilled by the results. It is in a beautiful location on Bonita Beach Road, the ambiance of the school inside is intimate, well-appointed and comfortable. Everyone from the receptionist to the students and teachers were lovely and helpful.I had my hair colored and highlighted by Gabby, who is very talented and easy to talk to. My hair came out beautifully.

I have been having my hair done at Cosmo for a couple of years. Great service and value. Very professional setting and students are trained well and pay attention to their clients. I thought I would try a hair cut from a higher end salon that had excellent reviews on Facebook, but but wasnt impressed.

The instructor was great. She knew exactly what I wanted. The student learned something new. It was a great experience. Will.come back again! Just want to add my husband was there Thursday and had a wonderful experience. They do good work!

Cozmo colored my hair exactly as I requested. The student was very careful in her application of the color and the instructor inspected her work on a regular basis. I felt that I was in good hands with the student and the instructor. You should expect the experience to take a little longer than in a regular salon; however, the price reflects this as well. I was very happy with the color of my hair and the experience.

I recently visited Cozmo and was very happy with the end results after color, refresh, cut and blow dry. Initially I did have to wait 50 minutes even though I had an appt. I was very appreciative of Shannon, one of the instructors who coached and encouraged both students who worked on my hair. They were very considerate of knowing how long I had to wait. I will continue to return and to recommend this to others.

A great teaching salon with a lot of talented future stylists. I have been to Chelley twice now and absolutely love the way my hair looks and feels. The color and highlights I receive pattern high-end salon results. I will sorely miss her when she graduates.

I have had 2 haircuts, 2 pedicures, 1 color with highlights, and 1 root touch-up at Cozmo. All of these experiences have been top-notch! The students were expertly directed by teaching staff as they handled each project. The polish for nails is very long lasting--my first pedi polish lasted 2 months with no signs of wear!! My color and cuts have been perfect as well. I will not go to any other studio.

I moved down here last year needing my hair done. I went to a hair salon school back home and loved it. Down here I was looking for something like that then I found Cozmo salon school. The stylist was wonderful, she was on time and making conversation. I got my hair cut and the stylist did a great job with the layers and the length of how short I wanted it. Went back to get my hair colored and stylist did great and did want I asked for color. The insturdors were watching every stylist ask helping them out giving them feedback and showing the stylist how to do somethings. The Great staff, service and prices are good too. Ill admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, being someone who always shelled out $$$ at a regular salon. But I must say, Ive been very pleasantly surprised every single visit. Ive been there three times so far, and each time, Ive had a lovely color and/or cut by various students (always overseen by the instructor). In fact, my first cut at Cozmo was better than any recent cut Ive had at pricy salons! I will continue to patronize Cozmo. The staff is friendly and the treatments are great, at a fraction of the price. Give it a try and hopefully youll be as satisfied as Ive been.

I visit Florida around 5 times a year and always make it a point to go to Cozmo to get my hair colored and cut. They are always so accommodating and very professional. I dont understand why you would want to pay $150 at a high end salon when you can go to Cozmo for the same services.Highly recommend the school

Leticha is a great Cozmo student. Her massages in head wash is wonderful. She is very conscience for keeping me safe when moving into and out of her chair. I have been going to Cozmo for 3 years. Every single time the young stylists have hit the mark! Color, cuts, manicures, pedicures; I have tried them all. I have never been disappointed. AND, buying products from them is far more economical than any store....My only concern is that you pay for a blow dry. This should be a given after any hair service. I went in for a deep conditioning and have them braid my hair. I wish I remembered the young ladies name who did my hair because she was awesome. My hair felt amazing after and the French braid was a huge hit. I totally recommend them to do your hair.

Sick of paying outrageous prices at salons, go to Cosmo Beauty School. Ive been going there for years. They use Matrix, which I find lasts about two weeks longer than other color products and I always get the color I want. The instructors are wonderful at tweaking colors.

I get my roots colored every 6 - 8 weeks and love it every time. It does not matter which student does, it always turns out great. I have very thick curly hair and they are all able to tame it with a blow dry.

I justed started going to the school about a month ago. Its a great place. It has changed so much since I had gotten my hair done there back in 2010 for my wedding. The teachers are great. Its an amazing place to study at. All the students get along very well. Within the first week i had already made new friends with my classmates. It is an amazing place and the new owner is their doing everything for the community and for the students. They are amazing people and want the best. I would highly recommend that if you want to go to cosmetology school this is the best place for you to go. It a great place and a wounderful environment. It keeps change for the best from one day to the other. Its an amazing school and amazing people.

Been there about 5 times. Loved the color and cuts I got. Time before last I called and asked if the formula for my color had changed. The instructor had said infront of me that that is a LOT of copper to the student. It looked different to me. I called and the receptionist first said they didnt change anything, then said a product had been discontinued so they used a comparable product, but it wouldnt have changed the color. Then asked when I washed it and acted as if I had messed it up by washing it. After about 10 minutes of irritating discussion, she offered to have me come in. I didnt have the time nor did I even want to go back at that point.... I wanted to know if theyd changed it, if they did, change it back next time. Made another appointment and went in. The receptionist seemed fine. I had my hair done, this time asking plenty of questions and getting answers. The instructor told the student to add more cooper to the color. It turned out the same as i remembered the first time I had it done and loved it. When I paid, I asked the receptionist to give the girl my tip which she said she would. As I tied my shoe she huffed and said, looks like they didnt change anything and when I stood up to answer she was gone. So one of two things is true. The receptionist lied to save face, or the instructor instructed the student to do something and then didnt actually do it? (What??) loved the students and loved the instructors.... Its poor business to let this woman behave this way to your clientele. This a good example of why people look for different salons everyday. I wont be back. I have better things to do than deal with a huffy secretary who takes questions about other peoples work as a personal insult. And stop sending these requests for a review. Had I not gotten this, I wouldve never bothered.

You cannot beat their prices- hands down the best. The young adults training are, obviously, just that- in training so it is upon you to speak with their teachers (who are great) to help guide the students.

Would highly recommend. Very detailed and makes sure you are totally satisfied with their services before you leave.

I am a regular customer. On this visit, I had a haircut and brow wax. Wax was fine. Not as happy with haircut .Even though I told the student that one side was shorter than the other and needed to be compensated for, after my hair dried, it became obvious that it is still uneven and too short on that one side.

I got a full highlight - but my roots still look horrible it doesnt even look like my hair just got colored. It looks like its already grew out. School didnt tell me about any policies that if I didnt like it or I have 24hours. I still havent heard from the school - very disappointing. I went to a different School in Fort Myers and they did an excellent job! sad
