Master Irvins is by far the BEST martial arts school my son has attended. Master Irvin himself is awesome with the kids and gives the kid the love and leadership they need while giving them a great foundation about the principles of martial arts. My son loves this school and I wouldnt trade this school for another one. I still believe it takes a village and boys need need strong male figures and Master Irvin is fulfilling that to the to the fullest. Thank you Master Irvin for all youre doing and what you do.

We enrolled our 3 boys at Master Irvin’s House of Discipline almost 1 year ago. Practiced here for Senior project for several months! This is an Excellent school! I was able to participate in a tournament and receive my yellow belt during testing! Master Irvin is a great man and instilled a lot of confidence and discipline in me and made sure i was legitimately proficient in what I was learning! I’d love to go back when I stop taking night classes! It was great exercise and a great experience!

Master Irvin does a fantastic job of creating a disciplined learning environment for all ages. He teaches the kids about respect, leadership and discipline. Tae Kwon Do is a great format for kids to build self esteem and learn some defensive skills.We’ve had our 9 year old in classes for almost a year and have seen improvements at home and school. I would highly recommend this place. He truly cares about teaching the kids and enjoys seeing them progress and develop.

I must admit I was very hesitant about enrolling my son into Tae-Kwon-Doe! Master Irvin kept asking me to bring him for a free tryout. My son has Autism and I was doubtful my son could fully participate. I was wrong! One day my husband insisted we try it and wow. I saw a minor transformation the first day. As a teenager who has taken classes at Master Irvins House of Discipline, I can truly say that this school of tae kwon do is the best there is in north Louisiana. It Rocks! We went for 3 weeks. Three. Master Irvin may have been a good but it was not the right fit for us for multiple reasons. I have learned my lesson on signing any contract ever again.Because of my son only attending 5 classes total, I am still bound to paying 2,000. I asked for a settlement since the 2,000 for was the entire year and he was only there for 3 weeks. I was told no and that if I did not make an immediate payment, I would be taken to small claims court. Seems like they care more about money than anything. Hard lesson learned but I will do my best to let everyone know how they choose to run their business.

We have been with Master Irvin since Jillian was 3. Master Irvin has taken up so much time and has such a great deal of patience that he has taught her so much more than just Tae Kwon Do. This is the best place I have found. The instruction is far superior to other martial arts schools in the area of ​​the city of Shreveport-Bossier. I have more than 6 years of experience in martial arts myself and have been looking for my children in a great martial arts school. My kids really love this place. Not only is Master Irvins instruction among martial arts much better than anywhere else, but Master Ivory Irvin is the only instructor in the area (as far as I know) who is in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame . Im glad I found this school (believe me, I went to several martial arts schools, and none of them can be compared to the Irvin House of Discipline).
