Took a 2 hour private class with me and my girlfriend. We each got to pick the colors for our own paperweights and were able to mold, shape , and cut our glass anyway we liked. Our Instructor Pat was extremely helpful , friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this anyone looking into getting into glass blowing or just looking for something fun to do. We had a blast!

What an experience!! Worth every cent! They really took the time to make sure we knew what was going on and that we were safe. Our instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. This was a great way to try something new and a little scary but still controlled. Absolutely recommend this for anyone considering trying glass blowing.

Went to Diablo as a surprise birthday gift. It was great! Seth made us feel welcome and safe. My wife and I both made glass paperweights. Truly a one of a kind experience.

Took a small introductory glass class here, just my wife and myself. Nice first experience with molten glass. Our instructor was Patient with us as total beginners, taught us the tools, demonstrated each process, and then helped us each complete a couple of pieces ourselves. Parking was available right next to the school. Im sure this is not the only thing to do there, but our experience was good.

You can take classes here in fusing and slumping, lampwork( using a torch) and blowing glass. You can rent space and materials here for a moderate fee. The staff are all well-versed in glass. They have been open for a while during the pandemic. Great place.I rent space from them about 2 x a month, I have for the last 6 months.. I always look forward to coming here.

We attended the wine-tasting and glass blowing demonstration. I highly recommend it! We learned so much and got a front row seat to all the techniques used in this amazing artform. But it was the instructors Adam and Pat that were educational and entertaining. I would love to go back and take classes there. THANK YOU.

Visited for a birthday party. Instructor was fantastic, glass blowing demo was riveting, and slab making was a blast. Price was inexpensive, too!

Highly recommended if you want to learn how to work with glass, not just watch someone else make a piece for you (they do that too). We took a 2 hour private lesson. We worked on the basics (teardrops and marbles). These techniques are the backbone of glass work. We chose not to make any pieces of take home glass but rather learn the techniques. We did have the option to make take home pieces. Our instructor was awesome and made sure safety was the #1 priority.

Diablo glass school is my new favorite place to go. The staff, instructors, and other students are patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is a wonderful way to warm up on a cold day or forget about all your troubles after a hard day at work.

As a date night we went to the wine and cheese event. It was awesome to get a tour of the facilities, sit back and drink wine while learning about glass art. The staff was incredibly knowledgable and friendly. They demonstrated a wide variety of glassblowing creations. The evening event went a bit over the scheduled time because they were just so excited about what they were doing. They also raffled off several of the pieces they had already made. We signed up for a class that we are looking forward to taking soon. Excellent date night for those of al ages!

We contacted Diablo glass either a week or a week and a half before our wedding (if my memory serves me--basically it was way too close to the big day) to collaborate with them on a bell jar as a guest book. We are from out of town so when we arrived at Diablo to pick up the glass plate that would become the bell jar and to show Doris the type of murrine glass we had purchased for the guests to glue on, she didnt know we were coming because I accidentally sent the email I meant for her back to myself somehow. She handled it all incredibly well and gave us a tour of the glass studio while we waited for the glass we needed to be cut. If I lived in Boston, I would be there all the time.On our wedding day, guests glued murrine pieces to the glass in unique patterns and shapes and we send it back to Diablo to be blown into a bell jar. They did two tests before the blew our actual piece to make sure they got it right (you only get one shot). Doris kept me updated every step of the way. They shipped it out to us in Chicago in what must be the mother or all styrofoam boxes--they carved out the styrofoam so the bell jar fit just right--and it arrived quickly and, most importantly, in one piece! The whole process after the wedding took about 5 weeks. This was such a special part of our wedding and Im so glad we worked with Diablo to make it happen.

Not sure what exactly went wrong during my visit to diablo this past month. Was it the instructor who refused to let us explore different colors? or was it when he told us he had had a liquid lunch and that it was to thank for his lack of shakiness. What really caught me was the pure un-organized structure of the computers, staff, and studios. Money on my giftcard vanished forcing me to abandon the ornament class I had scheduled months earlier and rent studio time which was ludicrously cheap compared to the classes. Many times did I have to search for missing tools while the instructor and other renters watched. I also was ignored by the girl(s) working the desk numerous times when I asked about colors, tool locations, and plain questions about the facility. When I received my ornaments and pendants I couldnt believe how awful the hooks had been applied, leaving sharp glass protruding past the crude hanger. There was missing pendants(s) which I called about and still have gotten zero response. There were many other factors including the aroma of weed which tended to linger, then the decaying neighborhood which gave me a front row seat to watch drug deals and domestic viloence. Those were irrelevent because I made the conscious decision of coming to Boston. Nevertheless Im saddened for what has become of a studio who is surely attempting a reincarnation of the lost artform but falling flat on mere presence and morals.
