My son is 13 months old now and hes been at Tiny Minders North since he was 5 months old. The teachers and director have been incredible. They are attentive & kind to the children. Theyre extremely knowledgeable in early childhood development and their advice most often mirrors the advice from my pediatrician. Currently my sons teacher and the director are enrolled in on-going early childhood development classes. My son is thriving and I can only attribute some of that to his teachers as hes there 40 hours a week. Going back to work is hard, but having a safe, welcoming place to leave your child makes it worlds easier.

We had our oldest daughter in Tiny Minders South from the time we moved here when she was 13 months until she started school, and now we have our youngest here. Weve always been very pleased with the directors and teachers. They keep the facility clean and are communicative with us as parents about our kids and goings-on at the daycare. I like that our girls get familiar with ALL of the teachers even though they have a primary teacher for each level of class, but by getting to know all of the teachers, it makes each classroom transition smooth. Weve always been pleased with the cost as it compares to other Boulder daycares, and I have personally recommended Tiny Minders to multiple friends and co-workers.

We have had two little girls attend Tinyminders South for the last 4 years. My oldest just transitioned to Kindergarten this year, and my youngest is about to do the same this August. We have had such a wonderful experience. My children have grown up surrounded by loving and fun teachers and staff. I will be honest at first I was unsure about the preschool classes being in a basement, but the ceilings are tall, and they spend so much time outside that it really only helps keep the rooms dark for nap time. I could not recommend Tinyminders South more and I may cry more than my daughter on her last day.

We had to pull our 18 month old out of the Toddler 1 class due to gross negligence by the staff here. Basic minimum care was not performed and we no longer felt it was safe or healthy for our son to attend this facility. My child in the toddler 1 room was often unsupervised, didnt get his diaper changed, was left outside without proper clothing in cold temperatures, and didnt have the right ratio of teachers to students when dropping in unexpectedly. Avoid at all costs.

We sent our son to Tiny Minders from 2 months old until we moved away when he was 2 and a half. TM was affordable, which is great, but we liked it better than much more expensive places we looked at. By the time we left, the staff were like family members. I never worried about my son when I was at work. He had so much fun with everyone there. Cande, Rubi, John and Julie were particular favorites of his, but everyone was just great. My son just had so much fun everyday and learned so much. He can count to ten in Spanish and English. They started him potty-training before my wife and I even thought he was ready. They have a great outdoor play space and the indoor areas are so well though out and spacey too. The rooms were always clean. The kids were never left to cry. Its a wonderful mix of structure with play and creativity/fun. They were extremely conscientious of our sons food allergies too. This is a place where you can be sure that people are looking out for your childs best interest. Its the number one thing I miss about Colorado! I felt like I had to write when I saw two bad ratings from people who never actually sent their kids to TM. We loved it.

My husband & I toured the facility and wouldnt recommend anyone bringing their children there. A few things happened: The owners mother was the teacher in the infant room. First, she had an infant propped up on a pillow while the infant was taking a bottle. That is not allowed in the state of Colorado.I do not believe that is allowed in this state. Second, there was an infant in the crib room screaming their head off. As I was talking to owner, I noticed she wasnt reacting to the infant crying - so I mentioned that to her... and said what if my baby was crying? She said to my husband & me Well sometimes, you need to let them cry. At that moment, I knew this wasnt the place for my baby. My husband & I turned around and left. If she was acting that way when we were touring the facility, then Im afraid to see what happens when we arent there.

We had our baby here for a year, only left because we moved out of state. The teachers really seem to care about each child.
