I work close to this place, I have heard the “teachers” screaming at the kids multiple times from inside my job. Seems VERY unprofessional!

My daughter has been attending for 2 years. Her teachers have been absolutely wonderful! All have been kind and caring, always looking out for what is best for my kid. They are very good at communicating her needs and I always look to them for advice. We will be sending our second daughter here also come October!

Growing Minds Learning Academy is the best preschool/camp. I am amazed at how well my two kids are cared for on a daily basis. My son is in the camp for older kids (he is 5) and my daughter is in preschool (she is 4). Alissa, the owner has so many great improvements to Growing Minds in the past year. The staff is helpful and friendly when I pick up/drop off; and my children have bonded very well with their caretakers. Alissa has an app where you can communicate with anyone at the school whenever you want, and they are very quick to respond. The teachers send updates and pictures on the app throughout the day.Alissa takes the older kids on all kinds of great field trips including water parks, museums, the roller rink, rec centers, movies, playgrounds, family fun centers, and the zoo. My son has some special needs and he struggled during the school year with field trips, but at Growing Minds, he did amazing! He has never been treated so well by a caretaker. I have never gone for such a long stretch without receiving phone calls to pick up my son because of behavioral issues. Alissa and the staff went out of their way to understand his needs and make sure he did well.A couple of weeks ago, my son had an appointment (with a late drop off) and he would have missed the field trip to go swimming. I figured that he would just need to be with the younger kids for that period of time, however, I was very impressed that when I arrived at the school, the older kids and the teacher taking the kids on the field trip were waiting for my son so that he could participate too. My son was very happy that they accommodated him. This is just one example (of many) where people at Growing Minds have gone out of their way to help my kids.I am so thankful that I chose Growing Minds for my children this summer. Thank you to Alissa and all of the staff that have helped care for O+E. We hope to see you next summer and hopefully some days there is no school.

My daughter went here from 2.5 until she went to kinder and my son went to summer camp here for 2 summers. When we started it was miss Catherine’s and we almost pulled my daughter out because miss Catherine was very judgmental and never nice to us (and honestly the programming wasn’t great) but then Alissa bought it and it became the school we loved! I never doubted my kids were in good hands and the curriculum was great and really got my daughter ready for kindergarten! My son had SO much fun in the summer program! Alissa (the owner) is amazing and always has the kids best interest at heart and it shows. The center got 100x better and is growing and modernizing in all the right ways. I always recommend it when friends with younger kids ask. Is a great place for learning, growing and playing!

Growing Minds Learning Academy is a breath of fresh air, the new owner Alissa Pinkas has transformed the center into something amazing. With the new playground and new staff its a big difference from the previous owner Catherine Medal. Great place for children

I have had a really positive experience with Growing Minds Learning Academy. My baby started when he turned 9 month old and he was there until he turned 15 month old. For me, one of the hardest thing in my life, It was go back to work after having a baby and their lovely teachers made everything so much easier. Now we moved far from Gunbarrel and we had to move him. But I will highly recommended. I also liked that you are connected with your child in real time with their phone app.

The center is off to a new and better direction. I don’t know much about the Director but she has came in and got that place on the right path. And the owner has nothing but a heart of gold.

I have been working in the Growing Minds Learning Academy for one year. It is a woderful institution where children learn many other aspects of education like music, yoga for a peaceful and quiet mind, another language Spanish, soccer for a healthy body . They learn their appropate age group education. I see happy and healthy children over here.

I love the new direction, Alissa Pinkas has taken the center to great improvements. Keep up the good work.

Engaged staff with hearts of gold, this community owes a great deal to growing minds learning academy and its perseverance. My little one love tge catering and friends there the most. I like the enrichment programs in yoga, music, and launguage. Well done

This center is great, with the new direction the new owner Alissa Pinkas and Preschool DIrector Naeemah Smith, I believe there will be a positive outcome. The drive and dedication they have children is remarkable. Great job..
