I worked at Homestar for 2 years and can honestly say it has been one of the best places Ive ever worked. Ever since I moved away Ive come to realize truly how great of a school it is. The teachers take the safety and happiness of the children very seriously, as well as the concerns of the parents. We had WEEKLY meetings to discuss how we can improve in each of the classrooms, we discussed the likes and interests of a child before they transitioned to their new class to make sure theyre comfortable. Not to mention the nutrition of the kids! Each meal was well balanced and TASTEY! Now that I have a child of my own and see that not all schools are ran with equal concern and care for the kids, Im devastated. Im also extremely greatful for the extra courses that the director (Kristen G.) had us do. I learned so much in those classes and from Homestar that apply it all to my kid. Anyway. I miss Homestar and the staff that felt like family. 😭

An excellent daycare provider with caring and competent leadership and teachers. The kids here have a wonderful and supportive learning environment.

The teachers care so much about the kids and we love the philosophies around real food and lots of outdoor play. Were very happy here!

We have been very happy at Homestar from the infant room to toddlers and on to preschool - love the teachers, the food, and how happy our daughter is about school.

Wonderful recommendations from moms group. but no consistency in care. Lots of crying.
