I would recommend parents send their children to other non-KinderCare centers as there are plenty in the area that are at least as good, they are less expensive, and they are less corporate. The teachers are friendly and attentive to our child. Our child enjoys seeing the teachers when we drop off, and is happy when we pick up.The center director is not a very compassionate person. I understand and agree with the recent health protocols and related restrictions. However, I never felt any empathy from the director when she would call to tell us to pick up our child, in fact she seemed proud to call us to tell us our kid would need to stay home. Due to health restrictions our child was home 60% of the first 2 months when we started at UCAR KinderCare. Because this is a corporate establishment, any discussion we had with the director always was resulted in her sharing verbiage or diagrams from the corporate documentation. Ive also seen her send out reminder emails about the health protocols to all the parents after another parent tried to discuss their disagreement about their childs symptoms, almost as if the director was trying to snub the other parent by sending an email out to all parents. That kind of behavior is not helpful. This last year has been difficult for all parents, and the director only made it harder.

As first time parents we were a little nervous, especially during the pandemic, but we have nothing but great things to say about this center. Our son loves it and they do way more projects and activities then I would ever have the energy or inclination to do. Not one bad thing to say about any aspect of our experience.

Our kids have attended UCAR for the past year and love it! The staff and teachers are excellent and really take care and interest to ensure your child feels welcome and is ready to learn. Throughout the pandemic the staff was very transparent with the protocols and always informed parents when changes were coming. We are lucky to have our kids enrolled here and they really enjoy the learning environment!

If your kid is reasonably normal and well behaved, youre probably going to love this school. Most.of the teachers are truly caring, loving people. The facilities are modern and kept in good shape. The outdoors areas have tons of space. The food is good.If on the other hand your child is more disruptive and needs extra attention and space to cool down, you may be better off looking somewhere else. This center does not have the staff or space to allow for deviant behavior. For instance there is no separate space for the kids who dont nap. They can either lay quietly on their mats or do quiet activities like reading. If they cant, theyll be in trouble. If the day is going badly, the center will call you and tell you to pick your child up and not come back until the next day.

My daughter has been attending CCLC for over a year now and she loves it! The teachers and staff are attentive, engaging and fun! My daughter loves the extra classes like Spanish, music and jump bunch, plus they do cooking and other arts/crafts projects daily. There is a theme they work on each month. There is lots of outdoor time and most of the time my kiddo does not want to leave when I come pick her up! We are very happy with her care there and I would highly recommend them!

We LOVE this center. We have been with CCLC at UCAR for over a year, transitioning classrooms and we have been very pleased. The teachers truly care about the children and are so invested in their development. The communication from the center is consistent, easy to understand, and relevant. We really appreciate the sense of community we find there and all of the friendly hellos we receive when picking up and dropping off. We are so lucky to have this center in Boulder.

I totally recommend the CCLC to families looking for a high quality daycare center. My daughter has been in the Dew Drops (infant) room for almost 10 months, and she absolutely loves it there. The teachers are warm and friendly, and very professional. They have a monthly curriculum, even for the youngest children, which is age-appropriate and fabulous. Ive never worried about my daughters safety, and I know shes learning and growing in a great environment.

As new parents, we could not be more happy with our choice to send our child to the CCLC. Our daughter LOVES going to school each day!!! In particular, our daughter’s teachers love and look after her as if she was their own child. We leave her knowing that she is happy and well cared for, which makes it easy for us to go to work each day and focus on our respective careers. In addition to the care that our child received, the operating hours of the center are extremely convenient for us and was a major reason that we selected the CCLC. We are very fortunate that a spot at the CCLC opened for our daughter and look forward to the continuing education and care that our daughter receives there over the years.

Weve had a great experience with CCLC. Our daughter started in the toddler room and now shes enjoying the big kids in pre-school. Weve appreciated the way our daughters teachers have welcomed her and helped her feel connected in the classroom. And, as parents, weve felt equally welcomed and supported. We highly recommend this daycare.

CCLC at UCAR is a high quality daycare center for infants through preschool. The staff and teachers are friendly and caring. The center is open year round with minimal days off. High quality, hot lunches are provided through UCAR.

CCLC UCAR has made an awesome impact on the development of our children. I would have hesitated four years ago to think that could really happen. Pre-School has developed our kids socially and educationally. The childrens development and their experiences produced by the many caring teachers is what makes me think so highly of this little school hidden away in the middle of Boulder.

My daughter has been in the Discovery Preschool (age 2) room at CCLC at UCAR since January. We moved her from a school that was severely mismanaged and I was concerned that she would have difficulty transitioning to a new school, with new teachers and new children around her. Because of the poor fit with our old school, she had retreated into a shell, and I was concerned about her emotional well-being. Almost immediately after starting her first day at CCLC with her teachers Kevin and Megan (and under the caring supervision of Stephanie and other amazing teachers and staff at the center), my daughter was laughing, having fun, learning, and making friends with the other children in her class. Its almost indescribable the change I saw in her in such a short time after we moved to CCLC. The curriculum is engaging, the teachers are truly, authentically invested in the well-being of the children, and also important, the teachers themselves are supported by the administration, and by their peers. They truly love their jobs, and it shows. Stephanie does an incredible job at fostering a community of support among her staff and also among the parents. I cannot say enough about how CCLC at UCAR has affected our lives in a positive way. My daughter runs to school each day, and I feel confident while Im at work that shes not only taken care of physically during the day, but also emotionally and intellectually.

We absolutely love CCLC. The center is warm and welcoming and really a home away from home. We have been attending CCLC with both of my children from the time they were babies to pre-school and pre-k. The staff and teachers are fantastic and staff retention has been incredible (with my kids maintaining the same loving teachers, I know some rooms had some turnover, but we never experienced it and my kids love their teachers). My kids learn, play, and have really thrived here. We can’t imagine our children anywhere else for daycare – not to mention they have Parents Night Out every other Friday, which gives my Husband and I a chance for date nights. My kids are fed, taught and well loved. Best daycare in Boulder!

CCLC was a good place for my kids as infants up until 3 years of age. Not so great after 3. They have a great deal of teacher turnover, which can be quite disruptive. They have become very corporate oriented which doesnt always lead to thinking of what is best for the children.

We love CCLC at UCAR. Our daughter has been attending since she was about 18 months old, and she loves it. The teachers are friendly, the curriculum is solid, the center is convenient for us, and even hosts Parents Night Out twice a month, which my daughter loves going to. Bonus: if you have a tight schedule like we do, you can buy hot lunch either for the whole month, or by picking days from the calendar that they provide towards the end of the previous month. Thats a lifesaver for us. Ive heard from so many friends that their daycare doesnt provide lunches (some not even snacks), and thats such a handy thing to do.The teachers in the pre-k and junior pre-k classrooms have been at the school for years (one has been with the center since it opened!), and are all wonderful. Weve loved all of the teachers that our daughter has had at CCLC.

We have our kids enrolled in CCLC and really love it. We really appreciate the way that the teachers interact with the kids, and the kids seem to really love being with the teachers. They learn so much at CCLC that it is amazing. They will come home and do things that they learned at daycare, which will blow our minds. My wife and I just look at each other and are like did that really just happen? I absolutely credit the learning at CCLC and the way that the teachers interact with our kids for how much they have learned since we enrolled them. We toured several daycares in the process of choosing CCLC, and CCLC seemed to be far and away the best of the bunch. Once we got them in there we realized that it was as good as the tour made it seem to be. We couldnt imagine taking them anywhere else.
