I have a 7 year old and an 18 month old that both attend Smart Start. They absolutely love the facility and their teachers. I hate having to work full-time but I feel totally confident and happy that my kids are safe and learning when I drop them off here every morning. I usually drop in at random times to check on my daughter since my son is only in the before and after school program, she’s always laughing, singing and dancing. A great and safe place for our children to learn. ❤️

Smart Start isnt like any old daycare. Its like a school. They teach the kids just as you would teach them! My 2 year old daughter can spell her name and count to 15! She also knows her A B Cs and all of her main body parts. And best of all I have found her counting in Spanish! All because of Smart Start my daughter is getting the education I would give her at home if I didnt have a job. Staff is very sweet and understanding! Paul is also very understanding!

Smart Start is a great place. My child loves it there and so do I. The 1 year old teacher is AMAZING and we cant say enough good things about her. She is very caring towards my child and is teaching her at the same time. We appreciate her hard work. The director is awesome as well. She makes us feel very welcomed and takes time out of her day to make the daycare the best place it can be. They both met my childs individual needs and always make sure she is taken care of, no matter what the circumstance. Nothing but positive comments for this place. LOVE IT and the staff!!! I could not be any happier with my decision for my child to attend Smart Start.

Ms. Courtney, Paul and the entire staff are wonderful! My daughter loves Miss Sara & Mrs Gabby and this has allowed her to adjusted so well. They have made our first experience with facility care wonderful! Excellent care, top notch safety, great communicators. My daughter loves going each and every day!

My daughter has been going to Smart Start for almost a year now. We started out at the Brenner St. location and transferred to the Nashville Rd. location once there was an opening. BOTH facilities are top notch! The directors and staff are very caring and I can tell truly love our daughter. Paul and his wife (the owners) are both great people are have been nothing but kind and supportive.My wife and I both work night shift so our daughter is there while were sleeping, it is so nice to be able to sleep peacefully knowing our daughter is in good hands. ALL of the teachers weve had so far are SUPER, we have favorites of course but I feel comfortable leaving her with any of them. You can really tell they take time and really make sure theyre hiring great staff.WE LOVE SMART START!!

My son has attended Smart Start Child Care since summer of 2014. He has learned many of the building blocks to engaging in relationship building, learning, sharing, and developing manners. As time progresses, he is learning the foundations of a preschool environment. On a daily basis he interacts with many children and adults from different backgrounds. This environment has assisted him in becoming aware of diversity. The staff are extremely helpful. Everyday he enters the room and looks for his favorite assistant. Daily routines are teaching him structure. We are able to maintain some of this structure at home which is very important for his continued development. I am a proud parent of a Smart Start Child!

My son LOVES this daycare! He stopped crying when I left him there after the first day! The staff is wonderful and they truly care about the children! I would recommend to anyone who wants their child to be in a loving, educational environment :)

Paul Isenberg (owner) is a complete scumbag. He cheats on his wife and three kids with employees, regularly. His facilities are understaffed and over-enrolled. He has recieved several fines from the state on this matter alone. Most of his staff are under-paid ($8 an hr) and over-worked; turning in 50-60 hours a week, that Paul doesnt even pay time-and-a-half on the overtime hours. How can the employee who puts the toy in your childs happy meal make more than employee who raises him/her 8-10 hours a day?? Its all about the money at smart start. When picking up my 2 year old I noticed several times there were almost 30 kids in the room and only two teachers. When asked how they can watch so many kids at once, their response was we cant. He doesnt care about his own family, how could he care about yours? Make the smart choice when choosing child care, and dont choose smart start!

Smart Start has been a great place for my son. The facility is very nice and clean and the childrens safety is always number one. The staff is very kind, helpful, and easy to talk to. My son has learned a lot from all the different interactions he has encountered while attending. I would recommend this daycare to anyone as my concerns and the well being of my son are of high importance. I never have to worry about him while he is there. I would like to thank the staff for all they do.

Noticed 6+ one year old children in rooms with 1 teacher in our walk through. They are supposed to be family oriented, yet we heard talk between the employees that the owner was sleeping with a co-worker. My wife in tears from thinking our child could end up in a place like that is making daycare an even bigger deal than it already is. Thank You Smart Start. What a wreck.

Smart Start has been a fantastic choice for my daughter and family. Very affordable, and my daughter now 2 has been receiving a great jumpstart on her education. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Going back to work after your first born is nerve wracking and puts great fear in your heart knowing youll have to leave her with somebody/someplace you dont know. Ill be honest, the thought of daycare scared me with having so many people around I dont know, so many kids that could get her sick, etc etc. Well let me tell you, I could not be happier leaving my daughter at Smart Start on Nashville Rd. There are great security measures, awesome staff, and clean facility. The director Courtney is great to work with and the owner is very personable. The ladies that watch my sweet daughter listen to our needs and fill me in at the end of the day with how she did and what fun they had. I love knowing my daughter is being well taken care of during the times that I cannot and that she has friends to grow up with. All in all, my husband and I are very pleased with our decision to intrust Smart Start with the care of our child. Cannot wait to see what her future holds while learning and growing with the Smart Start family!

If I could give 0 stars I WOULD. I would not send my children there again if it was the only place open. My children were injured with out report, unattainted to, and were fed inatiquit food and diapers were not changed often enough. Not only all of this, but the facility itself, though seemingly clean, is not sanitized regularly making my children extremely sick, extremely often. They say they are “teachers” but they are really a minimum wage paid uneducated adult with no training. The owners, though the wife is kind, the husband is completely crooked making remarks towards me in innapritiate ways, and sending payment statements asking for more than I owe, Ever since switching day cares, my children have been less injured, less sick, happier and healthier kids, and I will NEVER advise any one to take their child to this place again.

Smart Start is a great place for kids to learn. The indoor gym, with the care from teachers who love and cherish each child makes it the best place in Bowling Green to have your child!

Outstanding place and nicest facilities in town! Since my nieces and nephew have started attending I can see so much growth in their personal and verbal skills !

Our son started here when he was 2 because he refused to talk! The staff welcomed him with open arms and really coaxed him out of his shell. This daycare has a wonderful atmosphere and they are all about their kids! All the teachers seem to know all of the children by name, and the kids love them! The program is really about learning while playing. There is a great curriculum in place, my son has learned so much with them and cant wait to tell us what he did that day at school.I have known the owners for a long time, and it was the knowledge of what kind of people the Isenbergs are that helped me be OK to leave my baby in daycare. You really couldnt want better people taking care of your child(ren). From owners to staff, these people love kids and would do anything to make these kiddos day bright!

I love this place and the people who work here! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
