Where do I even start?!? My daughter was made fun of countless times by the facility and her pupils. She comes home crying every single day saying how she hates everyone and how they bully her. As a parent I want my child to have the best experiences and going to this school was not a good one. I tried going to the principle but he shut the door on me. How Ridiculous! I will be transferring my daughter to a better school. Their standards for hiring teachers are incredibly low. My daughter had a bad test score so I went in and was talking to the teacher and this teacher was so unintelligent that I could teach that class! I am an accountant and I could teach better than that teacher! Wow! I am completely unsatisfied with this school and my daughter will be going to a much better school next year! I wish there was a rating lower than 1

I had to stay due to the hurracaine Irma recently at this school. The staff members were wonderful. The cleaning crew, cafeteria crew were excellent. So grateful with them. They had a smile in their faces regardless of the situation. I felt safe and I had what I need. I am 6 months pregnant and my husband had to work regardless of the weather. I didnt feel alone thanks to this school members. I never stay in a shelter before but you made a huge difference. Thank you again. God bless every single one of you. Messed up! This place is a nut house. No control over anything. The streets are a parking lot, literally. People just stop anywhere and let kids out. Kids streaming across the street in a half dozen places without even looking up.Inside isnt any better. Staff doesnt return phone calls for three days, if ever.There are a few good teachers but they dont help kids with much. Just shove information at them and pile on homework.

I work for the school district in transportation and I have to say that the registrar, Veronica Bostic, is a complete bully. When I was unable to give her information for a student, because they had just started school a half hour prior to the phone call and wasnt in the school system, she argued with me and basically was trying to tell me how to do my job. We have to follow our own procedures and policys. She then asked for my first and last name. Basically another threat from a school district employee against another one because she didnt like my answer. Great way to keep friendly relations within the school district employee family!

Great school, if you are being bullied here I would be surprised. Buildings are nicer than BCS or Saint Stephens which I attended both and the teachers are well qualified. If you dont like this school you dont know what you are talking about. The lunch is OK but other than that if you are not in classes for dummies everything is awesome.

Manatee High School is a great school. A man said that He couldnt wait to get the hell out of there. Well I want to ask him some thing. Has he gone to any other schools besides Manatee? Compared to a lot of other schools, Manatee High School suceeds in education, social events, and athletic events. Bullieng is not a problem there, and it is also located in a good area.

Defunding this school is quite apparent since half of the teachers AND administrators are themselves less intelligent than most students. Im 53 years old with a Junior this year. Each year becomes more deplorable than the last. Dress code: They are making the girls dress like Muslims - unless they are cheerleaders, of course. They are more dedicated on how your child dresses than educated. God forbid your child isnt hanging an ID card off his/her chest and being identified as a Natzi prisoner.My child is an A student with many friends so there isnt bitterness - there is bitterness towards hiring ones who are not even qualified to work at Burger King!Greatly disappointed in this school - can you tell?

I truly do love attending THE Manatee High School, and could think of no better place Id rather spend my high school years.

Had an ID in a pocket after sweating doing PT and forgot to put it back on. Someone stopped me and sent me to detention even after I pulled it out and explained the situation. 10/10 BEST SCHOOL OF THE YEAR.

Due to an oversight by the staff anybody who had taken the AP Lit or AP Lang test this year had their score invalidated. If they fire you know who Ill change it to 3 stars.

A lot of bullying happened when I went there. Of course, staff turned a blind eye to that. Usually it was preppy kids from Anna Maria that bullied.

As a proud parent of a Naples High Marching Band student, I was shocked to learn from multiple sources how deplorable some students and parents behaved while interacting with our band on Sept 12, 2014 as guests on your field. My daughter and some other drumline members were cheering on your drumline on one of their performances when my daughter was told, in front of witnesses to shut the F up and leave before I hit you by a male Manatee student not once, but twice made threats to punch her in the face! The worst part is the parents who witnessed it were so busy shouting obscenities at our football team that they completely ignored what was happening right in front of them! This is how you treat your guests? How you teach your children to treat your guests? And ladies no less? They were being supportive of a rival band and cheering them on. And being the classy ladies of Naples High school that they are, they kept their mouths shut and simply walked away taking with them the permanent memory of how Manatee High students present themselves and how NOT to treat any guests of NHS Golden Eagles! And you can bet that if your band is ever in OUR house you WILL be treated with class and respect, because WE ARE THE GOLDEN EAGLES, WE SOAR ABOVE IT!

I went here in 1989, all i can say is after all this time i still dont have a degree, After so long i feel i have gotten treat better den everyone else t. teachers are so nice 2 me and i feal i have gotten and a decent education: my mom has passwdord to my grade account so she yells at me, but she kick me out 4 years ago after she said ::u are never going to learn or grow u stupid *********:: since then and i have lived in doghourse and for end of review all i can say is a relly like the coocking class i have taken for the past 6 years it has given me knowledge to flip da egg.PS. i can count rlly well watch me1234567892.I rate skool 5/7
