My fiancée and I went to Elena to learn a first dance for our wedding. Neither of us had taken dance classes before, but with only 5 lessons Elena was able to overcome that (and my two left feet) and helped us design a routine that we could learn (and great photo opps). With Elenas help, patience, fun personality, and lots of practice, we managed to pull off a spectacular first dance. Ballroom dancing has become my favorite thing I do and so this is my favorite place! The instructors are fantastic and and fun and make learning the dances so much fun. I started out taking just my private lessons but now I attend almost all the group lessons and practice parties. It is so much fun and I’m so glad I walked through the door two years ago!

David, Kelle, Sierra, and Chris are all very knowledgeable about the different dance styles. They create such a family atmosphere at the studio that keeps many coming back. They also know how to make each person shine on the dance floor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was nervous when I agreed to attend my first Friday party on April 29, 2016 but am so glad I did. The party was so much fun that I signed up for their intro class and before I knew it, I was working my way through their syllabus.I had no idea I would enjoy dancing and performing so much based on my previous dance experience, which was non-existent; swore I had to left feet, was way more socially awkward and dancing well...scared me...I didn’t want to be seen back then. Did I mention I also weighed 50 lbs heavier when I started? Signing with this studio changed my life. I have gained so much confidence since joining the fun!I went from being scared to dance to learning and performing choreographed solos and group numbers and have a few regional competitions behind me. I am currently prepping for my first national competition where I get to perform my choreographed solo and compete in a number of rhythm dances.The studio owners and their team are amazing and so welcoming!!! Try out their intro program and see for yourself...you have nothing to lose and soooo much to gain!!! And...I look forward to dancing with you! 💃🎉

My favorite place!

4 years ago before I walked into this studio I had a strong distaste for dance. When it came time to dance in public I would sit out because I felt ridiculous on the floor. I told myself I couldnt do it because I had two left feet, I had no rhythm, and every other deterrent that convinced me off the floor. My life changed when a fellow Marine invited me to Fred Astaire Dance Studios Brandon.I am currently 4 years into my life of dance and I couldnt believe I didnt start earlier. Many students walk in for different reasons and with a variety of personal goals. The Brandon staff and the professional and student community of Fred Astaire are very welcoming, understanding, and accommodating. I have competed; preformed on stage; consistently been to a variety of socials, including salsa, swing, tango, freestyle, wedding, etc; I have learned that the spirit of dance is about having fun, no matter how you look or your skill level. The staff here at Brandon has made dance experience a positive, addicting, and involved one for me. I have learned to pursue life with more confidence and a bigger smile.Dont be like me and wait for a friend to bring you in. Your experience can start now. The Owners and instructors are very Knowledgeable and Professional, a lot of fun!

Ive been coming here for some time and am so very glad I started. The experience has been completely positive, the staff is friendly, encouraging, and extremely competent, and the environment is like the family you didnt know you had (the good kind!). I only wish Id discovered it long ago.

My husband and I love it at Fred Astaire Studio in Brandon. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. We love their teaching technique and feel like we are making great progress. I would recommend this studio for the person who just wants to social dance all the way to the serious competitor! Check it out.

Awesome studio to learn to dance many different styles of ballroom. The studio is run by instructors who clearly love what they do and their energy carries right over to their students. The students are friendly and welcoming. The studio is spacious, nicely decorated and kept at a comfortable temperature (great AC!!). The dance floor is beautiful and the music never stops ~ its always a pleasure to go for lessons and classes and parties. Im amazed at how much I have learned in a relatively short span of time and look forward to continuing my dance education with this stellar group!! I would highly recommend anyone interested in learning to dance or improving their technique to visit David, Kelle, & Alejandro to see for yourself!
