Absolutely disgusting experience. I booked the pool during this pandemic at 2pm so my children have something to do on saturdays. I ran late at work and got there at 2:30 pm instead of 2 and they were closed at the reservoir. No phone call asking if we were going to make it or anything. I had a CONFIRMED appointment and have the phone call log to prove it. Now my kids have to have another boring Saturday. I HATE to excite the kids just for them to be disappointed. I WILL get my money back. I have tried to book the pool during the week and all the tell me is that camp or the swim team is occupying it. WHAT AM PAYING FOR THEN?! TRASH!

After enrolling my child in the Summer Camp program for this years program, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of organization and communication between staff and parents. The staff is majority young adults and teenagers who oversee the children during their experience in the program and I was not pleased with the lack of a controlled environment for children who are taunted and picked on. The original director, who has an outstanding background and experience with children has since moved on to another location since enrolling my child into this years summer camp. The new directors were not concerned or willing to acknowledge why I felt the need to remove my child from the program half way through the summer and there was no resolution given. I would not recommend anyone enrolling their child into the Reservoir YMCA Summer Camp.

I like this location honestly because there’s usually less people there when I go. The weight machines are new enough for me and they have everything for a good workout. The Flowood location does have a better variety of machines if you like to change up your workout.

Small Y, but they have enough equipment to get your workout in. The outdoor pool is nice in summer but aging. Great location right in the Rez. They have childcare there as well.

If you want your child bullied and picked on relentlessly, send them to the Summer Camp here. We were looking forward to the summer program due to the swimming and all the activities but it has been an absolute disaster. The K-1 class/CHILDREN cuss like sailors, hit/kick other children and name call like nothing I have ever seen. Dont bother telling the director or the counselors if you have an issue or your child is being bullied because they are a bunch of incompetent children that could care less. I do not recommend the Summer Program to ANY parent. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here if you want what is best for your child.

The indoors staff was not overly helpful or friendly. However the pool staff was awesome.

The directions are indeed wrong. Google has used Lakeshore Drive, not Lakeshore Park. The YMCA is actually off of Old Fannin Road, which turns into North Shore Parkway between Spillway and the Rez. Near the Reservoir. Please be sure to take this into account if you are using Google Maps for directions.

The original directions took you all the way out on like Burnham road. I updated the location so if it kept the update it should take you by the Kroger off Spillway.
