First time going here. My son was interested in a guitar so we stopped by the store section and was greeted by Jordan. Made us feel welcome, gave us a tour of the place, was informative and still gave us space and time to decide on a specific guitar. We made a decision on a purchase Jordan was checking us out but this other gentleman that works there Jason was very overbearing over Jordan and didn’t give him a chance to do his job ( count the cash) which my husband had it all organized but this guy kept being annoying and finally decides to count the money himself ….( took him 3x to count the money right.) Sir let the guy do his job he was fine! And I did NOT appreciate Jason playing and mishandling the guitar we were purchasing right in front of us….. very un professional. Aside from that. This place was very welcoming. Jordan did an amazing job! We will be definitely looking into taking guitar and piano classes just because the whole environment of it all was nice, chill and welcoming. Thanks again Jordan!

Our daughter is doing the Music and More summer camp. She absolutely loves it and all the teachers and volunteers. We are now having her do piano lessons with Rachel because she has just loved learning all about instruments. I highly recommend them for your kiddos!

Went to the store today to get my Epiphone Les Paul 2 Special set up. Had been talking to Alex over the phone for a few months, so we started on common ground. Alex knew exactly what I wanted and Im sure the results will be amazing. Changing the tuners to top-shelf Grovers , cleaning the frets and helping the neck get straight. All this work for a very reasonable price!.Very professional staff . Ill bevr

We were greeted so warmly. It was like 21 years had not passed since we had 4 that we were buying and maintaining. We are now, doing electric guitars and villas. The staff those nobody I recognized because makes. Reminded us of rosen, amp cords and pitch pipes. It was not even an upset it was needed and a new carrier for the guitar. I cannot wait to hopefully put our guy in lessons down there.

Extremely helpful staff, great lessons for guitar and bass, great deals, and even better presentation. This is the go to store for instrumental of every variety.

Private lessons are conducted by Well qualified musicians... I recommend!!! Ask the staffs about the free WiFi when waiting...

I bought a cable from here last month and Jason sold it to me, and he was extremely confrontational and condescending. I tried to do an exchange because it just wasnt making a good connection for my guitar; when he sold it he said I could just put the angle end into the amp because I told him I wanted to use the straight end for the guitar. He said that would be fine to do. When I went to do a exchange he was borderline aggressive. It wasnt the fact that he was questioning why I wanted to return but the way he went about it and turned it into an argument where he did not listen to my description of what my problem was and instead kept shouting it works, its your guitar. Let me see the guitar. It works. I was just so irritated with him not listening I just wanted my money back; he said no cant do it, its past 30 days(31 days exactly). He could do an exchange still. I asked him can it be a different brand? He said no, then magically he was gonna let me get a different brand and when we went to do the exchange asked if I wanted my money back or the exchange. So his story changed 3 times!

Had excessively loud rock music blaring the whole time I was in there. They had a decent variety but were pretty expensive on the instruments.

Always here, place is amazing. Cheap prices for loyal pieces of anything you need. Dont spend so much at a high end retail shop when you can come here! All very polite and help with everything.

Awesome place. Lots of percussion stuff and drum stuff. Plenty of pianos, guitars, lots of sticks, drum keys, any sort of hardware you need they have. The teachers are great, especially will the drum teacher. Highly recommend! Do wish they carried more marching percussion stuff, such as heads and stands, but none the less an amazing place that I enjoy going to every time!

Took my teenage daughter whose been playing for 2 years in to look at a possible new guitar while visiting her grandparents. We were instructed to NOT touch any guitars but to ask an employee to hand us what we were interested in touching. They had almost no employees available to do this. Never been in such an unwelcoming shop in my life. There are plenty other shops to spend $500 - $600 bucks in.

When I first called Heather was very helpful along with her associate, I believe Jennifer. Very very helpful and patient with assisting me. So I purchased a harmonica. Was really looking forward to playing my instrument and some of the holes did not work properly. I called the store the following day to inquire about the store to rectify the situation. I do not know who I spoke to but they were not pleasant or willing to work with me. All they said was you can call the company and get it fixed but we do not take such products back, then said sorry and hung up. As a health care provider I totally understand with a viral outbreak going on that it would be very unwise to receive such a product back. But to be impolite over the phone and not attempt to stand by a sold product is bad business. Again, I will say dealing with Heath, the owner, was very pleasant but whoevers was on the phone needs a class in customer relations. I will attempt to call, or visit, again and will update my posting.

Helpful, with merchandise at good prices

My son has been having guitar lessons with Greg for several months and we are only able to do every other weekend due to having a split family, which they were very understanding on at first. Now they have a student that can be a permanent student every weekend so Greg decided to bump my son out of the class!! They dont care that we already paid for the class, they didnt even bother to contact me and let me know!!! My son has been through a lot as it is and now is devastated because he really looked forward to going to class to learn to play the electric guitar. This is to me the worst type of business! Why would you kick a kid out of class because of a new student coming in?!? We have been customers for almost 6 months and now we dont even matter to them! I will never recommend or go to Music Showcase ever again!! If you do decide to go there just know that this can happen to you too!

Not happy with em today at all. They were out of what we needed and when asking about it, the response was....ran out 2 weeks ago. Who waits 2 weeks to place an order when schools are in session? Grr Ugh just not thrilled with em today at all.

Just bought my violin, and took it here to be tuned. I’ve been coming here ever since I was in middle school. Staff are super talented with helping in anyway they can. This place is a great resource for any level of musician.

My son gets piano lessons here and they are very professional and friendly.It looks like the best place in the county to shop for musical equipment. Ive never seen such a wide selection and very well displayed.

My friend has taken his instruments in here for servicing and hes only said good things about them.

The worse customer service, we had a trumpet and was missing parts, kept having the same issues with the trumpet, turned it in, they say they fixed it but kept having the same issues. Music & Arts off of 60 is way better. You get brand new instrument with the case, better insurance and a lot cheaper.

Sold me a $150 Kit guitar for $300. They took a guitar out of one of those beginner kits and passed it off as a stand alone piece. Just get your guitars from somewhere else.

This is a very shady place with a nice looking store. We rented a Violin for a long time. It developed cracks on it, which I was willing to pay for. But they came back with an outrageous amount to repair it, reduced it a bit, and pretended to do me a big favor. Once you rent from em you are kinda stuck (thats the down side of renting I guess). Had to drive down 3 times to resolve this. Wouldnt return phone calls. Finally ended up paying what they are asking as I feel I dont have a choice. Not happy.

This is a great store. My son has been taking lessons at Music Showcase for 6 months aand he loves it. Very curtious staff.

I rented a saxophone from them and paid $1034 dollars toward it. My child didnt want to pursue the instrument further so I wanted to exchange it for a guitar. The salesperson informed me that I could exchange the sax for half the amount I had paid on the sax, but I had to pay $34 for repairs to the sax before I could make the exchange. They didnt have any full size guitars and I was told they would not be getting more any time soon. The only guitars they had were 3/4 size for $249 or half the value of the exchange. I was told that I would need to talk to someone in finance to discuss the difference, but they should work something out for me. After several phone calls and emails I was contacted 3 weeks later via email that the exchange could only be performed on one instrument and that the remaining balance could not be carried over for anything else.Not my idea of a good business practice. Oh, and the guitar I purchased its online everywhere for $120 - $150. So in the end I paid $1134 for a $120 guitar.

My 3 children have all had piano lessons at Music Showcase for the past 14 years. This was like our second home. We had the best experience here with everyone from the store staff to the education staff. My children benefited from years and years of piano lessons from Ms. Jean Hackley. We never had any problems with make up classes or cancels. In the early years, they participated in several Musical Theater programs. We also had a great experience with renting my daughters alto saxophone for 6 years and now we own it. We had repairs done a few times with out any problems. I will continue to shop and recommend Music Showcase to everyone I know. Thank you Music Showcase and thank you Ms. Jean Hackley and Ms. Deb Campos.

Deceptive. The guys there dont seem to know what theyre doing when it comes to guitar prices as it turns out, that or they just flat out lie. There are much nicer local shops around with better selections(and honesty).

This is one of the worst music stores in Florida. They are completely untrustworthy, the instruments are ridiculously priced and very bad quality, and they dont listen to you. I went here to get a bass rosin, rock stop, and essential elements book for my class. The rock stop they gave me broke the first time I used it, the cover on my book fell of after the first month of having it, and after repeatedly saying that I played the bass, they gave me a violin rosin. I highly do not recommend this place. The worst part is that all the items I bought were all over priced. And when I asked them how much it was to rent a bass, they said between $800 and $1000, when at the Violin Shop its only $150-$300.Go to the Violin Shop or Roydon. I will definitely never go here again, and I hope you dont have to.

REVISION: after I brought this review to the attention of the management, they gave me a $15 credit - but the policy is still in place so be aware of this.******I really like the teachers here, but the business itself, I am very disappointed in. Last week we received a call shortly before our lesson time that the teacher was ill and the lesson was canceled. No problem. Tried to reschedule but I am very busy right now with my work and extremely limited in my times that I can bring my daughter to the school (this is why we chose Saturday mornings, its the only time I have right now) Much to my chagrine, I was told that even if I could not reschedule the lesson, I would still have to pay for it - no credit given. The school tried to tell me it is a viable option to simply have two hours the next week, or to schedule two lessons a couple of days apart, etc. A few seconds of consideration will tell you that is not the same value. It feels like Music Showcase cares about its weekly lesson fee more than it cares about having a happy, loyal customer - and trust me, I am not very happy or feeling inspired to be loyal. I recommend that you find somewhere else to take your child.

Buyer beware; we learned the hard way that printed music cannot be returned or exchanged.If this information had been made known at the time of purchase, it would have saved us this inconvenience and allowed us to feel good about returning.We are grateful for Roydon Music being close by and excellent customer service from online resources.

This is one of the best places you can go for music lessons, I took guitar,bass and voice lessons here and it was an awesome experience. They dont have a good selection of quality american made instruments, I dont even think they sell gibsons.

Its really more of a coffee shop(pe). No selection and typical Brandon ennui regarding your needs. I guess I should have said Oh, Thank you for being open and selling us poor unwashed citizens your magical musick, kind sirs. Bad, even for Brandon.

I had a bad experience with Music Showcase in December 2015 after dropping off a used violin for evaluation and possible repair. After many days of the violin sitting there without any communication, I called requesting a status update. The receptionist informed me that their luthier was MIA and that they had no one to make the repairs. I eventually took the violin to Roydon Music where they evaluated and repaired the violin the same day.Fast forward to May 2017 - my child now needs a larger violin. I called Music Showcase since they have a fairly large store, and I inquired if they had any used violins for sale. The receptionist told me no, but that she would pass my information onto Joe, the manager. Moments later I receive a call from Joe who informs me that he has quite a few and more in a warehouse for sale. I said great and asked for pricing which in return he said he does not have any pricing for the used violins, but asked what I was looking to spend. I thought that was odd, but he said he would call me back after he pulls out a few of the violins. A bit later I receive another call from Joe and again I asked for the costs of the violins which in return he asked again for what I was looking to spend. I decided to take a drive over there to see what was going on and upon arrival the receptionist showed me over to the violins Joe had sitting aside. All the tags had a very quick scribbled price on them and were horribly overpriced for them being used and small student sizes. I asked Joe several times why he did not give me the costs of the violins over the phone to which he could not give me an answer. Lesson learned. An instrument for sale should cost the same to any person who walks in the door. Be suspicious of a business asking for your budget and refusing to give you the cost of an item. The situation truly felt like a car lot!Avoid this place! Very shady practices! Check out Roydon Music or some place else.
