I remember going to school here in 2007 i was in 6th grade. It was fun but this school is crazy af they were fights literally every day. I remember when my brothers friend use to talk to some girl and i guess she said something to her brother that was out of hs and he came to school with a knife lol if you cant stand up for yourself dont come to this school

I honestly loved going here. The teachers where rlly good and if I needed help they would help me as soon as possible and I ended up coming out with straight a’s for the first time ever. Vibots was rlly fun too and a good experience ^^

I used to go here 6th- a few months in 7th and I loved it so much, I still do and I cant describe how much I miss it and how much I want to go back. Going to this school helped me so much with interacting with other people and helped me gain a scholarship. Im forever thankful for what this school has given me. Yes, there were fights, but they always took care of it and always let us students have fun because they understand us. The lessons were so easy to learn and I understood it so much better than my other schools ive been to. The teachers are so welcoming and amazing. I remember all the field trips and fun activities we all did as a school. Theres countless amounts of opportunities in this school to do what you love like band, student ambassador, robots, etc. I wasnt social, but I still felt loved despite of how I felt. Im so much more educated and Im only hoping to go to this school again for my last year, its impossible to completely describe how much I miss everyone, the staff and students. Thank you so much for making me feel worth it and Im so thankful I was a part of this school.

I am a student at mclane middle and the school is by standards is kind of bad. It is also good, the Robotics program is worth high school credit and our robotics team is one of the best in the country. The school has had some records of bad events including: the pepper spray incident, lighting trash cans on fire, and so on. To be honest the chance of getting bullied is a 50-50 and its really bad if you got the unlucky 50%, then on the other hand its full of wonderful teachers and very nice staff. The complaints is uncanny, but this school is rather good.

I am a student at McLane middle school its my first year Im in 6th grade and I hate that everyday I have to go to a school were teachers dont pay attention to what the students think it or say even if its good or a question about something

This school is really bad. Fights, drugs, altercations with teacher.Someone has to cuss out someone otherwise it aint no regular day. I was a student there and the school is really terrible. Ive been in a fight with this girl because she was talkin ....So I socked her up real good. Drama is another thing there. Oh, and just to clarify Mr. Oliver aint the principle anymore. Your students will get hurt if you go there -_-People have bad behavior.I know many people that are evil and rude and disrespectful and other words Id like to saybut I know Ill get in trouble.I will say names....but I decide not too.Parents/Teachers if youre offended Im sorry.But dont be surprised if your student has a black eye, scar, bad grade, etc.

Please dont send your children to this school. It is the worst school my child has ever attended and its a shame it is still operating as is. Good teachers so not want to and would be crazy to work here, so no chance for a turn around that I can see

This school isnt that had as people say it was. This school has a high expectations for the students goals that have to be reached this school is pretty good. Far as the fights go every school theres going to be a fight so why talk about McLane theres other schools too.

I loved it at Mclane, it was a fun year I had an I plan to come back this year but like they say if you child can not stand up for themselves they probably wont like it at McLane although it is a great school to me it is only my opinion... everyones is different based on their ability to make friends an defend themselves physically an by talking back if your child is shy an will not say anything back they have a 50-50 chance of getting bullied the teachers their are great some are lazy an do not teach good but most of the staff an teachers are great for the exception of the few I mentioned. To truly succeed and have a good year your kid will need cool clothes an shoes and the ability to talk back and defend themselves I know it is sad but true so.... If your child is unable to have or do that I do not recommend them coming here if you dont mind if they get teased or bullied. As we head to 2016 it is most about popularity and if your child does not have that they will be miserable and it is not only at this school it is at all schools so for you parents that say education is most important indeed it is but without popularity you kid will be truly miserable so do your kid the favor an buy them nice clothes an teach them how to talk back or defend themselves if you want your child to look back upon these years an say they were the best years of their life😉

Huts do is not as bad as poke day it is yes there many be 2-3 fights a month done people cant control there anger issues and done think there all that but robotics is what keeps our school from being and all f school its Mosley the people from Tampa and I get did graded there like a and bs which is awesome so u give rate 5👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌠

I must say this school is a devent school coming from a student that has gone to this school, i would say this school has gave me the best experience of what to face in the real world. Unless your child is a loner and has no friends then their shouldnt be a problem with him/her going to this school. As long as he/she stays out of trouble and does their assignments then they should be perfectly fine. Grow up people take it from a person who experienced the real thing.

Went to this school when i was a teen very bad school very unprofessional teachers and staff i had one teacher assistant was mad at me cause i did not do something she told me and she whispers to me (if you dont do what i say i will lie to the principal and tell him you said you aint gonna listen to me cause im black) which i did not say that... i barely talked let alone spew racist insults lol the teacher was black i am white her name is ms.sanders very nasty rotten woman

Horrible, horrible, horrible. mclane would have teachers yelling at the good kids and being nice to bad kids. JUST REMEMBER NO HATS OUTSIDE. like what rule is that ? Jus dont send your kid there for their own goood. send your kids to another school.

Im a student at McLane and Im in 6th its a great school the people who put bad reports on this you people must live under a rock for all I know I got into fights and Ive been in iss 10 times so far cause me getting into fights or something like that, but at this school its easy to get out of something what you stared but you gotta be lucky if you do get out of something cause some teachers would report you for no good reason like my 8th and 4th period teachers they report you for no good reason but still this is a good school.

Its a school with out any real rules and I full of mean selfless students that have no respeke for teachers or students and itself have more security and the teacher and principles are dissrespectfull to the stysents that have good grades and are responsable. Even though pepole fight and mclane is know as a ba school not really though there r some good pepole and teahers but i still prefer guinta all my bffs r there but some of my friends r at mclane

My prayers were answered when I received a call that my daughter was accepted into a magnet school program. Rude staff and NO communication.

Too many problems at this school to list. Most of the staff act as if they do not care anymore, Im hoping they at least did at some point. And its a sad fact that the kids are a product of their environment...meaning home. I can only imagine the parenting/lack of in some of these homes. If you can avoid sending your child to this school, do it.

One of the worst schools in the county. The drugs, fights and inappropriate behavior between the teenagers cannot be controlled. The administration seems to be afraid of the students. Something really needs to be done to clean the school up.
