The BEST what you can get in this area! And I really mean it.Doesn´t matter if you take voice, instrument or dance class, you will get the bets. My daughter takes music lessons for 3 years and I would never change.And the band program is just cool, the kids feel like rock stars!Can´t wait for another showcase on your stage!

I LOVE Roots! I havent even been dancing here for that long, but so far I have had one of the best experiences of my life.The teachers are caring and loving. All of the students are like a family to me. I love how I can dance in a safe Christian place without being judged constantly. It has definitely grown since when I took piano lessons there when I was 8! Im so happy I picked Roots over all of the other dance studios in Franklin. I would never throw away an awesome experience like this!!

I can not say enough great things about this place. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about the kids and about how they progress in developing musical skills. My son has taken guitar lessons from Matt for the 4 months and has really enjoyed it.

My 12 yr old has been taking piano lessons at ROOTS for a few years now and she absolutely loves it! Her teacher is so nurturing and has been great at building self-confidence in our daughter at the keyboard. I love the mix of classical training with practical, everyday chord reading. At this age, I think the most important thing is for your child to truly love playing their instrument. That has happened for us at ROOTS! I highly recommend it.

I have a 7 and 9 year old, and we decided to try the Intro to Music program this year and my kids have absolutely LOVED it! It was such a great way to let them try out the different instruments and decide (for themselves) what they wanted to pursue. After 4 weeks of 4 different instruments, both kids know what they want to pursue, drums and voice. It has been a great experience for us.We have really enjoyed ROOTS, and the instructors are top notch, and they really know kids. Plus, the staff has been so helpful in accommodating our schedules and sending us friendly reminders. I would recommend it to anyone!

My daughter has participated in dance (class + camp) in the past and is now going on a year of violin lessons at Roots. We have loved our experience there. The atmosphere is so fun and inspirational. The teachers and staff are positive, encouraging and helpful. I have been amazed at how far my 6 year old has come after only a year of learning to play the violin. I highly recommend Roots for anyone looking to help their kids cultivate creativity.

ROOTS Academy has been one of the best decisions weve ever made for our kids. The staff is absolutely awesome to work with and they really know how to work with kids. We have our kids in drums, guitar and dance and its a highlight of their week. We also love the fact that we have our kids in a faith-based environment that reflects our believes as well. If youre looking for a safe, fun and uplifting place for your kids, you simply wont find a better place than ROOTS. Period.

We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Roots! We love that our daughter is doing what she loves in a Christian environment. The teachers are amazing and incredibly encouraging. Weve been to different studios and hands down this one is the most organized, responsive and has the most wonderful instructors/mentors. The only negative - it can get pretty crowded in the parking lot and lobby. We truly love it here!!

We love ROOTS Academy!! This is not your normal music school - it is full of hip, accomplished musicians who love making music and love teaching the next generation. I love knowing that my daughter is getting a strong musical education from someone she looks up to, who is a mentor as much as a music teacher. As a classically trained musician and a mom, I recommend ROOTS to everyone I know!

We could not be more thankful for ROOTS. They have created and environment that is authentic and that has allowed our kids to really enjoy learning their instrument. Living in Music City you cant help but appreciate when something creative is done right! Roots has done it right. We have been at ROOTS since day 1 and we love it.

My 8 year old daughter has had an excellent experience at Roots Academy learning to play the violin. The teacher is kind and encouraging. The facility is great and we love having the recitals and inviting loved ones. The staff could not be more personable and helpful.

We absolutely love Roots Academy!! We have been commuting to their Franklin location for 2 1/2 years and have been very pleased with the progress our son has made there. All of the staff and mentors are exceptional and we cant thank them enough for the time and effort they pour into him!

Both of my children have taken lessons at Roots, as well as myself! The atmosphere is very welcoming, artsy and chill and the staff are all so friendly and genuinely care about you and your children. Both of my children and I loved our teachers and I am impressed at how knowledgeable and talented they really are. They have great teaching methods and really encourage the kids in their giftings. My daughter has taken both guitar and piano at ROOTS for 2 years. It is the best! The mentors not only care about how she plays her instrument, but speak encouragement and wisdom into her life as well. She has come so far as a musician and loves that she can listen to a song on the radio and play it!

Our daughter has been taking guitar from Elle, for almost 2 years now. I love that she has not only learned solid skills in playing, but the encouragement & confidence is amazing. I love that their environment is not a cookie cutter mold. Each mentor works with each student with their skills, talents, & pushes them to go outside the box. The staff is amazing, and they are such an encouragement to each other. I love the positive feeling, and knowing the owners keep true to their character, and faith in giving back to each family as well as the community is just a bonus.

Great experience for my teen daughter. Elle was a phenomenal, hipster(cool) guitar teacher. Easy billing, easy makeup classes, great front desk personnel. Highly recommend!

My daughter takes violin lessons and has the sweetest relationship with her instructor. She learns so much and feels at home with all of the staff. We love Gracie and Roots and would suggest it if you are looking for a great faith based place for you or your child to learn about music!

Our daughters musical development is important to us. Just as she is learning core subjects at school, her musical education is a building block to who she is becoming. ROOTS is a great foundation for learning music and experiencing great role models and mentorship. While she is learning the skills of playing the piano and singing, worshiping God and encouragement is being modeled by the mentors at ROOTS. Because character development goes hand in hand with musical development, we cant see our child taking lessons anywhere else!

Love ROOTS. The staff is so warm and personal -- they try to make sure they do right by each family.....the mentors are outstanding musicians as well and very professional no matter the age of the student. Very pleased to be a part of the ROOTS family!

Ive had two of my kids at Roots for the past two years- I cant say enough good things about the lessons and the staff. My children arent rock stars or virtuosos by any means. However, theyve been paired with great mentors who evaluate where they are, where they want to go, and how to get them there. The staff at Roots have nurtured their love of music and passion to learn. The quality of instruction is second to none. Roots mentors truly invest in the kids- their interest and investment goes beyond the music lessons. My favorite side benefit of the lessons has been the huge boost in confidence from performing at the recitals.

We have been with Roots for 4 years and have seen them transition to a professional yet lively and fun environment for kids to learn not only the mechanics of music (piano in our case) but also to learn the love praying the music, love worshiping, and love using their gifts.

I have been a student at ROOTS Academy now for 3 years. I started taking voice lessons when I was a senior in high school, and have continued my lessons as well as adding piano lessons now that I am in college. The staff/mentors are always so friendly and willing to help whenever I email or call! I travel 2 hours just to get to ROOTS and they are always willing to work with my schedule and my distance! They have given me opportunities to perform not only at their recitals, but at The Frothy Monkey in downtown Franklin. They did EVERYTHING! I didnt have to stress about set up, mic checks, and literally all I had to do was perform. I tell all my friends about this place, and I will continue to take lessons there as long as I am able, and maybe even add another instrument to my lesson list :)

The instructors at Roots are fabulous and they have put the joy back in learning for my kids.
