My daughter has been attending SH for the past two years. I cant tell you how much this program has meant to her and our family. She has made close friendships with the children in her school, the teachers are excellent. Positive talk is used consistently with the children, I have never witnessed a voice being raised toward a child. The teachers have helped my daughter develop her social skills and academic skills. Every day I pick her up from school she is so excited to tell me about the fun she had.Fast forward to this year, this school as demonstrated a commitment to their kids. They have initiated appropriate infection control protocols to keep everyone protected. My daughter has developed a better understanding of hand hygiene and germs through reinforcement taught at school. If you are considering a preschool for your child, you wont be disappointed with Sunshine House!

I made the right chose to put my 2 and 3 year old at Sunshine House. They started about 2 months ago and my kids are excited to go to school each day. Knowing they are well cared for and learning new things about the world puts me at ease. I appreciate how attentive the teachers are and you really can see that theyre truly there for the kids learnings and well being. Sunshine cares about the parents too! I LOVE that they send updates via text w/ photos of the kids and the activities theyre involved in. Its a great feeling to know that Im not missing some of the day to day stuff that goes on at school. I definitely recommend this school!

So glad we have our 3 year old enrolled with Sunshine House on Fridays. It is such a great way to end the week - with new challenges and learning experiences for him. The teachers and staff at SH are so aware of our sons needs and go the extra mile to help with drop off transitions, integrations into social settings and development of his confidence to get involved. We call Sunshine House - big boy school - and are very thankful for the positive influence (both socially and cognitively) we see since joining 6 months ago, with our big boy.

I absolutely love sunshine house ! So far 2 of my daughters have gone to sunshine house from the age of 2 until 5! My second daughter will be graduating in June and they both have completely excelled in learning and are above standards for kindergarten. All the teachers actually care about the well being of every child and WANT to make sure all kids succeed. They talk to them at eye level , they are patient when kids need that little extra attention and they are awesome with communication! My third daughter will finally be going in July, I’ve known I absolutely wanted my third at sunshine house at the age of 2 and put her on the waitlist over a year in advance ! I’m extremely grateful for sunshine house !!

Sunshine House 2 is amazing! Supportive, genuinely caring staff, great educational program, safe and efficient operating processes and am amazing outdoor area has made this home away from home for our daughter. Our daughter has nut allergies, and they have a very thorough plan in place for her safety. I feel comfortable and safe dropping her off, and everyone is caring and professional.

Sunshine house has been a very awesome place to have our now 3 year old. She is learning her independence, making friends, and telling us all sorts of stories from her days. The best part is she enjoys helping others and her teachers. She asks out what the teachers do when she is home and it’s all positive. I’m glad she has some strong teachers to help her grow on the days she is there!

My son loves sunshine house! He comes home everyday having learned something new, and I am amazed how much he remembers and is excited to share with us each night. I enjoy the photos and notes I receive letting me know about his day and all the staff are always friendly and engaged in their specific activities. My daughter has been attending Sunshine House 2 since she was 3, she just recently turned 5. Even though my daughter had a lot of book smarts going in, SH definitely aided in broadening crucial social skills and she is consistently on track with reaching her developmental milestones. I highly recommend the Sunshine House 2! My family and I chose the SH2 because of the fun, yet scholastic environment they provide their students. My son comes home everyday and tells me how much fun he had and all the new things he learned. Additionally, I appreciate the unity between the teachers mannerisms, discipline, teaching styles, and personalities. My son loves SH2 and I love the consistency, academic structure as well as the quality of care.

We like Sunshine House because teachers there are always caring, listening and friendly to the children. Sunshine House in Brentwood is second to none. Our second child is attending Sunshine House in Brentwood after our first child had such a great experience at the Sunshine House in Oakley. I absolutely love Sunshine House 2!! My child has been attending here for about 5 months now. The teachers here are nice and genuinely interested in knowing your child! My son has a speech delay, and they are constantly helping him improve his speech skills & independence!Every week they are partaking in new activities that has to do with the letter of the week (potlucks, meeting firefighters & police officers, or crazy sock day).My absolute favorite thing about Sunshine House 2 is that they are AMAZING with communicating with you by either text messages or paper notes!I feel so relaxed dropping my son off knowing he is in safe hands! 💕

We chose Sunshine House initially because their hours complemented our work schedules. But we are SO glad we did! It has been a wonderful place for my son and he has flourished and learned so much there. He is headed to Kindergarten and he is more than prepared. Our favorite things about Sunshine House are the warm and wonderful teachers and their smiles. We love receiving notes from the teachers about what are son is up to and how he is engaging with others. My son loves to play outside in the sandbox and on the climber. We recently moved from Berkeley where our 2 and 5 year old attended a daycare since they were 6 months old so weve had experience with other large daycares. Both kids have been at the Sunshine House 2 for 2 1/2 months and we absolutely love this place! Theyve been in business for a long time and it shows. They work hard to create a safe environment and invest in quality teachers that genuinely care about the kids. We initially decided on Sunshine House 2 because we knew people whos children went here and we are SO happy that we did.How do you trust a school to care about your child as much as you do? How do you trust an unknown group of adults to care for who you love the most? Its a huge step and we give thanks every day we pick her up with a big smile on her little face. Sunshine House 2 is that place where you can be confident your child will be cared for.The first thing we noticed after a few weeks of our daughter going to Sunshine House 2 was that her vocabulary skyrocketed! By allowing all the kids of different ages to interact together, she quickly picked up new words from the older kids. The open floor plan of the school also made us feel much more comfortable that she would be constantly watched.You owe it to yourself and to your little one to take a look at this place. Sunshine House 2 is probably EXACTLY what youre looking for.

This child care site is simply outstanding. My wife and I brought our daughter over from another child care site in Brentwood (starts with a K) due to poor teacher staff a couple of years ago. The staff at Sunshine House 2 is amazing. Not only did they prep her for Kindergarten, they did it in a way our daughter enjoyed going to school every day. They also have added perks like pizza night. I would highly recommend Sunshine House 2 if you are looking for staff that cares about your child and is reasonably priced.

We have been at Sunshine House 2 for about six months. Our son is four and he loves it. One of our favorite things is how the teachers keep us updated and informed with all of things involving our son. It may be a simple note home saying what he did for the day, but its really nice. We can see an improvement in his language skills and he learns new things each day he goes. They do a great job of taking care of him and helping to get him ready for kindergarten.

FYI: this will be long, but worth the read.My family chose Sunshine House solely based off the tour we took. Its great to read reviews, but nothing is like experiencing something for yourself. Upon taking the tour I was told all the wonderful things the school had to offer such as, Healthy snacks, all age interaction ECT.. That was all great, but nothing could have persuaded​ me more then watching my extremely shy son walk over to a group of kids playing after Ms Angel had called him over. At that moment I knew this was the school my son would attend. He has been attending Sunshine House for about 9 months since that first interaction and although the first 2 weeks were tough, it has been a great experience since​ then. I am extremely grateful to each and every teacher at Sunshine House, for all theyve done to help prepare my little guy for Kindergarten. Its absolutely true that the curriculum is nothing unless you have good teachers. Sunshine House 2, has some of the most dedicated Preschool teachers you will meet and the way each and every one of them has a bond with every single child there, tells you all you need to know. We LOVE sunshine house 2. My son has been attending this school since Feb and we can tell that he has been learning a lot. He only attends three days a week but he asks me everyday if he is going to school that day. I like that the teachers are always welcome, always smiling and happy to see the kids coming to school and even saying hi to them by name.One of the aspects that I like the must about sunshine is that they always keep you up-to-date with all the activities that are happening during the day; like the book, song, art activity of the day, etc.My daughter is not 2 yet but she already wants to stay with the brother when we go to drop him off. I cant wait for her to attend too.

After searching many different preschools trying to find one that was fun but had a good emphasis on learning we found this little gem. Of all the places we toured, this one was also the one my daughter loved the most. The staff are friendly and consistent. We have had two kids so far there and both have loved going everyday and had wonderful experiences. The place is impeccably clean, lots of space for the kids to play, and they do lots of extras like sending notes home when they have had good days, texting me pictures of my kids playing while I’m at work, and having family events all the time for us to come to. We could not imagine taking our kids anywhere else!!

Sunshine House has been amazing for us! My son has really enjoyed all the activities, making friends and learning from all the great teachers they have on staff. Our main reason for choosing Sunshine House was for their structured learning - we wanted our son to be ready for Kindergarten socially and academically. They are very organized and there is strong communication between the staff - if I ever had a question about my sons day; the team was always able to answer them. I also personally loved getting texts with pictures and special hand written notes to tell me about his day. They make it a special experience for each child and I know my son will definitely miss Sunshine House! Thank you Sunshine House for a great experience!

I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about the size of the school but that concern went away when I saw how devoted the teachers are to each and ever child. Im still amazed at how they remember all the kids names..and the parents names too! I work full time so knowing that they give each child the time and love they need to grow means so much. My son has been going to Sunshine House for over a year and his language and motor skills have definitely improved and Im confident that hell keep growing and discovering new things while hes here.

My son has been with Sunshine House 2 since Jan of 2017. He has grown tremendously as a student and individual. The school suited his personality very well with all the wonderful teachers support, care and love. The teachers at SSH2 are a gem. They love all of the kids and take really good care of them. My son pointed to all of the teachers picture in the lobby and said all of them are his favorite teacher. He will graduate in Jun of 2019 and is kindergarten ready thanks to SSH2. We will miss SSH2!

My wife and I chose Sunshine House because of all the positive things we had heard from other people that had their kids in the program. My favorite thing about Sunshine House is, how my child comes home singing new songs he had learned that day. I love when he tells me how much fun he had in group that day. I also love how nice all the teachers are. My son loves playing with all of his friends at Sunshine House and doing group time. I would definitely recommend Sunshine House to anyone.

We have been going to Sunshine House 2 for almost 4 years. My older daughter started there when she was 2 and immediately started learning new things. She was very shy and the teachers there were so great with her. My youngest daughter has been there for a year now and loves going. The staff is great and we couldnt ask for better teachers. My son started at Sunshine House (on Walnut) last August. Sunshine was the first school we visited and it was a very easy decision! To say that I have seen changes in my son is an understatement! He comes home each day he is at school with a huge smile and loves talking about all the things he does and learns. He is more outgoing and social, and has already developed special friendships with other Sunshine kids. It is obvious to us that he is thriving as we can just see the joy in him when we drop him off and pick him up. The teachers are always so delightful and they do a terrific job communicating to us parents! I also love all the holidays, parties and programs the school puts on. It is refreshing to find a place that still celebrates all the holidays because those memories are so special to the kids! The teachers work so hard to make it an amazing experience for the whole family and I cant thank them enough for everything that they do. Our family LOVES Sunshine House2. Our 2 girls attend 3 days a week and are so excited each day. We love every teacher, our youngest daughters fav is Mr Justin :) I appreciate the structure and attention to detail. They provide cute themes and thorough assessments regularly for each child. Looking forward to two more years of my girls attending!

The things I am most impressed with at Sunshine House are the attentiveness to the children who need those extra hugs when they say goodbye to mom and dad. The friendliness of the teachers. There are always hellos when I walk through the door. The staff there is very welcoming and really pay attention to your needs. They make you feel comfortable leaving your child. They have an open door policy that is wonderful! I love all the activities they do to get the parents involved and feel a part of the school as well. The school has a great family feel to it. All these are great qualities to a great school. I rate this school 5 stars with no doubts!!

This place is great! The facility is clean and organized. The back yard is spacious and covered by trees and lined by bushes. It creates a nice environment for the kids to explore instead of a playground on some foam pads with chain link fencing.They sterilize the toys daily to stop the spread of germs and sicknesses. My son has been going there for a year now and has only had a few colds.They do a great job at providing you kids choices in what activities they want to do. Art, science, reading, play etc.What we really love is the family interaction. They have a number you can text to ask how your kid is doing, they have family breakfasts, pizza nights, theme parties in the yard, and themed luncheons.The teachers are great and really care for the kids too.

Sunshine House 2 on Walnut has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our daughter is a very high energy 5 year old. She started Sunshine house just before she turned 4 years old. We were unsure how she would do in preschool because she is a known busy body, energizer bunny type. It has been heartwarming to see the ways that the staff encourages who she is, while allowing her to journey through discovering the world in a meaningful way that has just the right amount of structure. I think they have just the right mix of discipline and freedom for the kids,The outdoor area is a huge selling point. I love that rain or shine, the kids get to be outside. To me, thats how it should be! :) Outside they can explore, play and learn,Inside the classroom I really like the way they switch up the creative spaces to keep the kids engaged and excited about showing up. Our daughters eyes light up every time I tell her its time to get ready to go to Sunshine House. This is the best indicator that she feels loved, respected and safe each day she attends. I have interacted with every single teacher there and they are all wonderful, and genuinely care for these kids. Like most parents, I think my kid is brilliant already :) what has been so much fun, is to see her smart little brain connect the dots and truly start writing and reading. Its amazing, and it is a testament to the ways she is learning at Sunshine House.Love this place!

My son started at Sunshine House Brentwood 2 last month and we couldnt be happier. The staff is super friendly and thoughtful, the program is excellent, and we could imagine leaving our son anywhere else. They really go the extra mile to get families involved as much as they prefer to, which is great for us having just moved to Brentwood. Even though its a large group, it has a warm, personal, family feel to it, that I really enjoy. This group is a class act, Im so happy we found them to help us raise our boy!

Sunshine House 2 Brentwood truly is the best!! From the first conversations with Ms Vanessa, the welcoming tour & guest visit dates, we always felt so comfortable with the Sunshine house. The amount of love and laughter under their roof is amazing! All of the teachers are so sweet and attentive. The children are always happy and genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves. Most importantly, our 2 year old had a great transition. I worried that she would never go down for a nap at preschool, but just a few days into it, I received a text photo, showing my sweet girl, fast asleep! In fact, I periodically get photos via text or notes sent home, showing her interacting with friends or participating in learning activities. I find so much comfort in the smile on my daughters face, when she sees the Sunshine House sign each day we attend! We are grateful to be a part of the Sunshine House family!!

We chose Sunshine House 2 after reading many amazing reviews & having a walk through tour with our child. The staff is absolutely phenomenal with our child (all the children, really) & has a wonderfully scheduled curriculum that includes activities to work on with your child at home for the days they dont attend school. Sunshine House has been extremely accommodating, not only with our part-time schedule for our child (now both our children), but also with their communication and help for a newly discovered learning disorder with our child. Overall, if youre on the fence about where to send you child, I highly recommend Sunshine House 2; theyre licensed, bonded & insured and have the utmost compassion and patience needed for young children.

I rave about Sunshine House Brentwood 2 to anyone that will listen! My children have been there for over a year and have grown leaps and bounds. My son will be leaving in June and heading to kindergarten and I know he is more than prepared. Every child is known, cared for, and remembered by every staff member. They learn thematically and have access to tons of hands on experiences. Sunshine teaches to the whole child and to all different learning styles. We recently moved to Brentwood and were in a bind. We werent sure where our older son would go to school and needed a school with flexibility. We were looking for a school with a great curriculum to prepare our little man for kindergarten, a great indoor space, good quality toys, an outside play area and enthusiastic teachers. Wow! This school has exceeded all of our expectations! The teachers are fantastic and keep a good eye on the kids while letting them explore and grow. They can tell what your child has done, not done, tasted (they introduce flavors in accordance to their curriculum) and liked (or not), who theyve played with, what they excel in, and funny stories galore. Their evaluations are thorough and age appropriate. The kids are always happy as clams and look forward to coming back the next day. That they want to come back is a sign of a successful program. We highly recommend Sunshine House 2 on Walnut Blvd. I wish I was 4 years old again so I could go there!

My daugther loves sunshine house we moved to brendwood in september and shes been going to sunshine house since. Shes always talking of how much she loves her teachers and how well they treat her. She loves playing out in the sandbox and she loves making new friends. She has learn a lot since she started going here. THEY ARE GREAT !!!! 👍👍👍

My daughter is about to graduate from sunshine house after being there for over a year. I have to say that this has been the most exceptional education I have ever seen with young kids, they really prepare them for elementary school. My daughter is 4 now and she has learned so much! She knows how to write her letters and numbers, she is recognizing words from books as well! Every week I see how much her development grows and grows, she comes home telling me something new she learns, it is amazing how well this school teaches my daughter. Every time I walk in to pick up my daughter the respect I see the kids have for the teachers really shows how connected the children are to the teachers. The teachers are great with communicating with me at all times! I highly recommend this school for your kids!

Sunshine House is my favorite preschool by far. I have four children, which means I have my share of selecting preschools over the years. I like how whenever I walk in (expected or unexpectedly) the children look happy, busy, and there is always an adult with them. The staff are very professional and greet you with a smile. They really make you feel welcome. The school is always clean and organized. Sunshine House has a lot of little special touches that set them apart from the rest of the schools. Before we even signed up we received little gifts, they offered us a free day to try it out (guest day), they leave special little notes for me when my son has done something great or even if they just thought it would be something Id like to hear, When I walk in I see a picture of my son in a frame with a friend. This makes me feel like they are an extension of home. That is exactly the kind of place I want my child to go to if he cant be home with me.

I am reminded every time I pick up or drop off my daughter what a great decision it was to enroll her at Sunshine House (Walnut). The staff is amazing and the curriculum is supportive toward my daughters development. They go the extra mile to make both the child and parents feel comfortable and excited about the childs schooling. I could not be happier as a parent and based on my daughters development and sharing of her experiences, I know that she enjoys it too! I can see that Sunshine House is creating a positive foundation toward her overall school experience that will last for years and I am grateful for that.

My son thrives at Sunshine House! He enjoys interacting with all the children and teachers and I feel comfortable leaving him in their care. The teachers are always help and attentive. My daughter has been attending Sunshine House 2 on Walnut since January and she absolutely loves it! From the very first day, I noticed an increase in her speech. She was so talkative when I picked her up. I knew we had chosen the right preschool. They even sent me a photo of her showing that she was doing well which instantly put me at ease. So thoughtful! The teachers are all phenomenal. My daughter has really bonded with them. They share stories with me about my daughter and provide great feedback. My daughter looks forward to going to school each morning and even asks to go on the weekends. She sings songs that she learns during circle time and tells me about her day when I pick her up. She knows her abcs and can practically count to 20 and shes not even 2 1/2! I am really happy with their curriculum and love all the themes they do. I had no doubt when my daughter turned two, that I was going to put her in Sunshine house 2. I have many friends that have sent their children there and their kindergarten school teachers continuously say how much they love getting Sunshine house kids! The best part is they help potty train!!! It was the easiest potty training ever! They have an incentive system that motivates the kids to want to learn! On Day 1 my daughter didnt even say bye, she instantly joined in the groups to play and learn. Upon picking her up after her 1st day, she was so happy and wanted to show me everything about her new school! I also loved that on my daughters 1st day, I received a picture by text with an update of how she was doing. This was such a wonderful surprise especially for a new Mom being away from her child for the first time. I was reassured that she was in good hands. The teachers and staff there are really good about keeping you updated on how your child is doing with notes and evaluations. It comforting knowing that I am able to text or call the school any time to check up on her. I cant express how much I absolutely love all the teachers and staff at Sunshine house 2 and how they do their best to accommodate me with any special requests. They have always been so friendly and loving to my daughter. It shows through her confidence and how she is always so happy to go to school. They teach her good manners, cleanliness, how to follow rules, and most importantly how to be friends with ALL kids. I would strongly recommend Sunshine House 2 to all parents! Im confident everyday she is there, that she is in great hands!

We absolutely love Sunshine House! Our son has been there for 2 years. The teachers are so amazing and so friendly. They treat the kids like their own. It is extremely clean there! They have a sanitizing machine, which I thought was awesome! Our son has learned so much and will be entering transitional kindergarten this fall. My daughter will be attending Kindergarten soon and I feel confident that she will make the transition easily. She has learned so much during her time here. My daughter loves their outside play area. Our summers are so hot here but they have an abundance of shade and will set up fun water play stations. My daughter really looks forward to the monthly themed luncheons and all of the different events they have for holidays. I like that they emphasize healthy eating and being active. They also have a monthly Pizza Night where the children can stay late and parents can have a date night. Its always nice to get little notes from the teachers about something positive that happened that particular day. I always have peace of mind when my daughter is in their care that she will be safe and well taken care of. Because Sunshine House has made my daughters first experience with school so positive, she will forever have a love of learning.

I can not speak highly enough about our familys positive and supportive experience with Sunshine House. Our daughter has been there for 2+ years and we are eagerly awaiting our youngest to come of age so that he can join. I truly believe that our daughters experience has helped her grow in more ways than just academically. The teachers there are attentive, caring, creative, patient = and kind. When work has caused me to request an alternate schedule for my daughter, multiple times, they were supportive, patient and were as accommodating as possible. For the first month, every day I went to pick-up my 3 year old and take him home he cried. He cried because he did not want to LEAVE Sunshine House 2 preschool! That alone says it all. He started singing songs at home and asking when we were going back. I am thoroughly impressed with their program. Each day is outlined and parents are offered ways to participate in their childrens education. Every month there is a theme party where all of the staff dress-up and the preschool is decorated. Parent volunteers are encouraged. The staff communicates well and children are never more than a 10:1 ratio. Although shes too young, my 18 mo old, whos now 22mo old, wanted to go, too. She has always been welcomed to all of the extra activities when Ive volunteered, and as a result, will be a future Sunshine House 2 student!

I am so glad that we chose to send my son Sunshine House Brentwood 2. I decided earlier this year to send my son to Sunshine House Brentwood 2 and I am very satisfied with my decision, because the Preschool really goes above and beyond what other Preschools I researched do. The teachers are amazing, kind and really educated. My son is always talking about how much he learned during the day and I am always surprised of how much is actually covered and how interesting the teachers make it for the kids. I have never seen my son so enthusiastic about learning and I really love that the teachers have so many activities to get the kids involved. I love so much about this Preschool and my child is definitely going to be ready for kindergarten when it approaches. I especially like how much attention is given to keeping everything so clean and tidy. My son has a low immune system, but because of Sunshine House’s efforts he has not gotten sick but once. I love Sunshine House and thank you for all that you have done!

My two kids are going to sunshine house. We loved to see how they enjoy their time at the school and sometimes even saying they want to stay longer when we picked them up. This year our son is graduating and starting TK in August.At sunshine house, he has learn so many academic lessons in the past 2.5 years, but the most important lesson that he has learned is patience, respect, compassion, sharing and caring for others. He shows all these great skills at other places like at parks with other kids, with family members and with his little sister. This is one of many amazing things that makes Sunshine House a special place for our little ones.We know our daughter will continue growing, learning and enjoying her time at Sunshine House the same way our son did.

I cant say enough about Sunshine House in Brentwood. Our son has been going there for over a year now and he absolutely loves it. I love hearing about his day and it always starts with what he learned that day. They always give us feedback on how he is doing and will also send pictures during the day when they are doing something fun. The teachers are fantastic and are always super friendly and outgoing.

My daughter started at Sunshine House Brentwood 2 6 months ago and I am so pleased that I found Sunshine House! The teachers are wonderful and so understanding that my daughter is sometimes shy at first and needs to warm up before I say goodbye. Every teacher is so helpful and is willing to spend additional one on one time with my daughter to get her comfortable as I leave. My daughter talks about the teachers and her friends at Sunshine House all the time. I love seeing everything she is learning and all of the crafts she brings home each day. Just in the last 6 months since she has been there she has grown leaps and bounds. She knows her numbers, colors, letters, alphabet and I know it is because of the circle time at school. I am so grateful to the Sunshine House teachers who show my daughter so much love and care.

My son has been attending the Sunshine House since August and he is loving it so far. The staff is friendly, the kids are very welcoming, and most importantly he is learning a lot. I know he is safe and well taken care of in the hands of the teachers at this school. If you are looking for an amazing preschool for your toddler I would definitely consider the Sunshine House!

My daughter Itzel has been at Sunshine House for almost 2 years now and my husband and I couldnt have made a better decision when it came to her care. She has grown so much and we are very proud of her. She came in fluent in Spanish and about 50% on English, within couple of months she was speaking English head to toes. She is very social and loves her teachers and has made many friends. I want to thank all the Staff for all the efforts in taking such good care of her and going beyond to make this place a wonderful experience that my daughter will treasure forever. She truly will miss you.

I am a first time mom. As the time was approaching for me to go back to work, it was a very stressful and emotional time for me. Trying to find a good, quality, clean, safe school/day care you can trust was not an easy task. I asked my friends and family with children if they recommend any school or day care, 90% of them said Sunshine House. So I decided to inquire and visit the facility. I called and scheduled a day to come in. Upon arrival, we felt an immediate warm and friendly welcome. Facility is nice, clean, safe and well maintained. The teachers/staff are all very helpful and very sweet. My daughter Chloe has been going to sunshine house for 7 months now, and she ABSOLUTELY loves it. She loves all her teachers and all her friends. She loves all the different activities, play time, circle time, reading time, all of the above. They have a great curriculum and send newsletters out to all parents about upcoming events or themes of the day/week. They take numerous pictures, which I love. They capture moments that youre not able to be there for. She comes home with lovely drawing and paintings. Overall, sunshine house is a great school/day care. If i could, I would give 6 stars. 😊

My husband and I are so happy we chose Sunshine House Brentwood 2 for our twin girls. Their speech increased exponentially after the first week of school. We are happy that they are learning with kids who are older which helps with their conversation as well as their manners. We also love that the teachers have been there for so long and they are so caring and loving. We are grateful that we can drop our girls off in the morning and be comfortable all day and not worry because they are in great loving hands. Ms. Liz is so caring and loving and she welcomes our girls bright and early every morning! When we pick the girls up they dont want to leave and they sing in the car and talk about their friends and activities they did that day. We also appreciate the little notes we get from the teachers in the girls cubby explaining how they did that day.My husband and I spent months searching over 6 other preschools in the area and we chose Sunshine House because it was the best fit for our girls and we felt like family as soon as we came for our tour.Thank you Laurie, Karen, and all of the teachers at Sunshine House for treating our girls like they were your own.

We were fortunate to send all three of our girls to Sunshine House 2 for a year. They loved being with their friends and teachers, and learned so much during their time there.What I like about the staff is that they truly care about your child. They let you know what they excel at and need to work on, and how well your child is socializing. We’re thankful for the handwritten notes on how our child’s day went, the online pictures of the day’s activities, and the occasional text messages with photos of our kids. They celebrate your child on their birthday, and often hold events such as holiday parties, breakfasts, and pizza nights (aka date night for us).I found it beneficial that it isn’t just a classroom style setting, but still introduces them to the expectations of elementary school. Our girls like being able to learn while having fun at the same time. They get to be creative and use their imagination, all the while learning about their letters, shapes, etc. Our oldest transitioned from preschool to kindergarten very well, and was well prepared emotionally and cognitively.Another important factor for us was that our children could attend part-time. With the costs of sending twins at the same time, it was nice having an option that financially allowed us to send them at all. The flexibility of morning vs afternoon schooling was also helpful when the twins started preschool and our oldest started kindergarten.The communication is very good here. Whenever you need to talk to them, they are responsive and make themselves available. You can easily text them, which I find so handy if I have questions, or they’ll make a plan to call you at your convenience.There is plenty more that I can say about Sunshine House 2, but I think you can tell how happy we are with their services. They treat you like family, and most importantly, they treat our children as their own. Our girls will definitely miss Sunshine House 2!

I cant say enough great things about Sunshine House. My son started about 2 months ago and he has enjoyed it so much! Every single day, he asks to go to school!I was one of those parents who had a really hard time with anyone but grandma caring for my child. My first few days were really difficult. I love that they welcome parents to visit anytime. That alone is a great stress reliever.Since the first day, the staff has been so supportive....to the both of us. Every teacher and director always has a bright smile on their face...you can tell they really enjoy the children and their jobs. Their energy is felt the second you walk through the door.My son has learned so much. New songs, words, letters, games, patience, how to share, etc. English is his second language and the teachers keep a little cheat sheet of words they can use in Serbian, in case he has trouble understanding. When he has troubles napping, they read him books and slowly calm him. One time he had a hard time going down for a nap and the teachers let him hang out with them while they ate their lunch. I never expected that level of compassion!When I drop my son off in the morning, I feel like I am doing something wonderful for him and his development. You are great Sunshine House! Really, thank you so much!

My son has attended Sunshine House since he was 2 and he’ll be off to Kinder soon! He has grown so much over the years and we are so grateful that Sunshine House helped with some of his big milestones – from potty training to counting and letter recognition.. he has truly thrived. We chose Sunshine House because of the play based structure as we believe in learning through play while still having some structure and consistency. All of the teachers have been so great, there are new teachers that weren’t there when he first started but my son has always felt comfortable with all of them. Whenever we had any concerns, my husband and I were comfortable talking to the teachers and they always supported us and had great suggestions/solutions so we never felt overlooked. I personally appreciate the text messages we get if he had a hard drop off or just because! I find myself constantly checking Facebook or Instagram to see photos and it really brings this mom comfort that he’s doing just fine :). Our son is more than ready for Kindergarten this fall and we will miss Sunshine House so much! THANK YOU!!

We started Sunshine House Preschool in Brentwood about 3 months ago. We LOVE it and more importantly my 3 year old daughter loves it. She is always excited to go to school, they are very flexible with working around your schedule, and the teacher to child ratio is great! All of the teachers are so sweet and really care about the kids. they have a HUGE outside play yard for the children and the entire play area is shaded for those hot Brentwood days! I cant say enough great things about this school.

My daughter loves going to Sunshine House. We love the cleanliness, organization, and friendly staff. She has grown so much since she has been a part of Sunshine House. Definitely recommend this school to anyone with little ones. :)

We cannot say enough great things about Sunshine House. Our son has grown and blossomed there. All of the teachers are positive and caring. They often share fun stories about his day and leave positive notes on his cubby to tell us about his day. They have gone above and beyond to make sure he got the help he needed.We also love that he is learning and having fun. He is building social skills as well as academic skills. My son absolutely LOVES going to Sunshine House 2 in Brentwood as I enjoy the comfort and learning environment Sunshine House brings to him. He loves to learn and is always excited to tell me all that he did at school. I highly recommend Sunshine House 2 in Brentwood to any and all parents who are trying to find the perfect fit for their toddler. The teachers are amazing and caring and I enjoy the academic and social skills my son has learned in his time there.

Our second Sunshine House graduation is about to happen in the next 5 weeks. When our oldest went off to kindergarten her teacher asked us if she went to preschool. We told her yes and her response was, You can tell. It must have been a great preschool! As our second graduates we have no doubt that well hear similar responses regarding his preschool education. We are thankful for the time our children spent at Sunshine House.

We can’t say enough good things about sunshine house. Our daughter has been there for over a year now and has excelled  in so many ways. She loves to come home and sing all of her circle time songs with her dolls. She looks forward to going to school and gets excited every time she sees the sunshine sign, even when it’s not a school day. All the teachers are wonderful and know how to make a child feel welcome. The back play area is huge and has great big trees with lots of shade. We LOVE sunshine house!

My daughter loves Sunshine House almost as much as her dad and I do. The teachers and staff are all very friendly and attentive to everyones needs. She is learning new things everyday and making many new friends. Thank you Sunshine House!

We knew this was going to be our son’s pre-school when we found out how clean they maintain it. The teachers are warm and always greet our son when he arrives. My son was having a difficult time with separation when he first started attending. So I have to say that the thing we appreciated most was when his teachers sent my wife a text informing her that our son was doing better, and included a picture of him calm and participating in an activity after we had dropped him off upset and crying. Thanks everyone!

Sunshine house was my only consideration for preschool for my son, based on reviews from friends who have had their kids there. I have been nothing short of impressed with them. I started my son there a year ago when he just turned 4. He wakes up everyday asking if its a school day and is sad when it isnt. He loves his teachers, the friends hes made and especially loves circle time and teaching me the new songs hes learned! I love that he learns something new everyday in a safe, inviting environment! He begins kindergarten this July and Im excited and comforted knowing he received great preparation from a great preschool. Thank you Sunshine House 2!

I have two children in the program here and they have grown and learned so much, my youngest is a handful and he has gained so much independence and is blooming into such a bright child because of his teachers (which he calls his best friend), my oldest son who is currently in their tk program has learned two read and write his name, he can recognize all of his letters in his alphabet. All of the teachers great me by my name and any time there has been a issue involving my children I am always properly notified, the staff is so loving and compassionate and you can tell that they all love what they do and actually are there to put your children first. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a great quality program for any age!

I thank Sunshine House for my sons academic achievements. I believe that Sunshine House prepared him with the fundamentals to start on the right track entering elementary school. I remember his kindergarten teacher was not surprised on how well he was doing when she found out that he had attended Sunshine House. Now with my daughter starting kindergarten I am certain that we will have the same academic experience.

Our daughter goes here and absolutely loves it! We love it too, its a great daycare/preschool in Brentwood & we would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere where your child can learn and grow along with great teachers and kids, A+!!

I chose Sunshine House Preschool for my daughter because the teachers are fully dedicated to ensuring that children have free play time that allows children to be children. The play equipment they have allows children to HAVE FUN. When I walked in, I saw children talking and laughing with each other, not sitting down quietly and passively. At Sunshine House, the teachers work with children and accommodate childrens needs, desires, and curiosities. I really like how they do role playing and theater with young children. I appreciate that the teachers are always in communication with each other, wearing headsets so there is never any adults yelling across the room and they do monitor where children are going at all times.I have experienced another preschool in the area for a week and my daughter was not happy with that other preschool that had a curriculum that was too rigid and too structured in ways that stifled any creativity from children. I am so happy we found Sunshine House for my daughter who loves to sing and dance.

My son has been going to the Brentwood Preschool for a little over a year now. The teachers and staff are so amazing!!! My son loves the school. He has learned so much this past year and we are looking forward to another 2 years!!!

Our girls started Sunshine House 2 in August 2016 after a bad experience at another day care provider. They were so helpful and got our girls in right away. From the very first day my girls have absolutely loved every second with them. The staff is unbelievable and as long as my girls are happy, we are happy. I have seen significant changes in my 2 year olds personality and speech. She is talking up a storm since starting there. The staff truly cares about the children here and it is noticeable. Thank you Sunshine house!

There is no doubt I would rate Sunshine House EXCELLENT!!. My husband and I couldnt be happier that we chose Sunshine House to have our daughter go... but most importantly, our daughter couldnt be happier! It was a long time coming for her, as a stay at home mom the transition for her was hard BUT the teacher, and staff there were AMAZING..They made it very easy for this over protective mom to walk out the door as my daughter was screaming.She loves the teachers, her friends, the lessons, the songs, the activities. She is truly engaged and a part of the Sunshine House family, and now loves school because of it.Sunshine House is a special place because I find they have the perfect balance of child-directed and teacher-directed interaction. The children are able to interact with all children in the school- more realistic in life, than being limited to just their age group. This allows for very special friendships to be formed- they all learn from one another no matter how old.The staff is stable. Very important. We love our Sunshine House teachers. The teachers rotate teaching the different age groups, I think seasonally... that way, the children get to know all of the teachers and the teachers in return are able to contribute in their own special way to all of the childrens development.Other wonderful things to note:-Pizza Nights (where kids can stay late and parents can have DATE NIGHT!),-Schedule flexibility (when your schedule changes, they are very easy going),-Minimal holiday closures-Open-door policy (for parents to volunteer, or just stop by for visit) LOVE THAT!,-Community involvement (participants in several local events),-Holiday RecitalWe appreciate what Sunshine House has given our little girl. A loving environment where she feels safe, has fun, learns, shares, and grows every day. Its truly a healthy well-rounded place. I believe it has enriched our daughters life in so many ways, and for that we are very grateful. THANK YOU SUNSHINE HOUSE !!!!

My Daughter is a little on the shy side, and Im a little on the overprotective side!! So finding Sunshine House 2, was just what we needed!! My little girl loves with a passion going to school!!! She is happy, and that makes me happy!! She has learned so much so quickly!! Her teachers are exceptional with children, and us parents too!! So greatful and thankful!!! We love Sunshine House 2❤!!!!!

Avery started at Sunshine House when she was just under 2. I was worried about potty training, but they have a system down. All of their teachers are awesome (Avery especially loved Markelle, Angel, Alex, Danielle)! I loved getting random pictures texted to me and my husband of Avery doing something cute or funny and even personal notes from the teachers on things they experienced with Avery. Those notes are so awesome. Memories I look forward to reading again some day. They always had events for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and St. Patricks Day. As a working mom, this place put my mind at ease knowing that my daughter was being well taken care of and I could put 100% of myself into my business.

Our family moved here from Pleasant Hill last year, and we were looking for a place that offered balance of structure, learning, safety, and fun. We have two sons ages 2 and 4 and needed a place where we could feel comfortable leaving them at. Of all the preschools toured, we kept coming back to the Sunshine House 2.We enrolled both of our sons and could not be happier with our decision. Everyday after school, our sons would come home excited to tell us about their day, or show us the project they completed. On occasion, the staff will leave a hand written note to let us know how our son(s) did today or if he got a boo boo. I like that personal touch and attention that I feel sets this place apart.The staff has also remained the same for the most part since enrolling our oldest son. I feel this to be important, because it helps the kids to identify with their teachers and not get confused with new faces that come and go. We love all the teachers and really feel that they care about our childrens well being. Our youngest son loves Ms. Olivia and Ms. Kaula.This past June, our oldest son graduated from the Sunshine House preschool which was followed by a huge graduation ceremony! We were both impressed. Ms. Laurie and the staff do a fantastic job organizing and rehearsing the seasonal events. Recently, they held a Fathers Day BBQ for the dads. They also hold events like Pizza night where the kids can stay late giving the parents a few hours for themselves. We really cant thank the staff enough for all they have done for our children.We have nothing but praise for the Sunshine House 2 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that offers learning, fun, and safety for their child.

Sunshine House has been wonderful for our whole family. My daughter looks forward to her time there everyday and has learned so much in the 9 months that she has been attending the pre-K program at Sunshine House. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring; they really go the extra mile in ensuring the students success. Sunshine house is so welcoming and fun that when I drop off my daughter I can barely get my three year old son to leave. He is so eager and excited to start school this fall. When my husband and I first moved to Brentwood two years ago I was 8 months pregnant with our second daughter and decided that it was a good time to start our 2 year old daughter Emily in Preschool. Sunshine House Brentwood 2 was highly recommended by a very good friend of mine that had two children attending and one of our neighbors on the street that had their children there as well. So thats where I started my research, and after all the information I found on the internet, the other rave reviews by happy parents, the several patient phone conversations with the staff, and the tour thats offered at the school, we didnt need to look any further! The administration team and the staff of teachers are amazing! Everyone was extremely warm, friendly and inviting. We had all the time we needed on the tour as well as free play time for our daughter so she felt comfortable (including a free half day trial), a gift including a large beautiful animal book, kids tee-shirt and coffee mug (for me!), a free pizza night voucher, and even a note written right on the board when you walk in welcoming us. I was truly impressed! The school was amazingly neat and orderly for having so many young children. There were different workstations, play-stations, arts and crafts, activity tables, cubbys for the kids, a huge clean kitchen, the bathrooms were all neatly kept with supervision as well as separate diapering service for the younger ones (which we needed then) and the outside playground is HUGE! I was thrilled to learn that there was a curriculum all throughout the day ran on a schedule and catered specifically to the needs of all the children. My oldest daughter has now been attending Sunshine House Brentwood 2 for the past two years and our youngest will be starting soon! She has excelled in her speech, writing, learning of letters, numbers, shapes, socialization, songs, and more. She comes home excited singing songs from her circle time, a cubby full of all different kinds of art-work, projects and homework. She has made many wonderful friends as well as special relationships with her teachers. There are special luncheons, breakfasts, family involvement for all of the holidays, photos, treats and more. We couldnt be happier with our choice of Preschools Sunshine House Brentwood 2!

Our 4 yo daughter has been at Sunshine House for a year now and she has learned so much. She comes home wanting to do circle time with everybody and sings all the songs shes learned.The most improved skill that she learned is writing the letters. She even knows how to write her first name by herself and simple words like mommy and daddy. Lastly, the staff is great to work with and they are extremely communicative about my daughters school performance and behavior. I would highly recommend Sunshine House!

My oldest daughter, Bella, graduated from Sunshine House last summer. She is thriving in TK this year and I cant thank the teachers and staff at Sunshine House Brentwood 2 enough. Not only did she come in ahead of the curve academically, but she also felt confident, comfortable, and socially prepared. The staff at Sunshine House do an excellent job of communicating what your child is doing well, and what they need to work on and putting an action plan into place to help them succeed. I would often get picture of Bella texted to me through out the day or a very thoughtful note from one of the teachers about what Bella learned that day. They also do a ton of fun events for the kids and I love that parents can come and participate too. We currently have our youngest daughter enrolled at Sunshine House Brentwood 2, and it is the same wonderful experience. Our youngest was EXTREMELY shy when she first started there; but its been a little over a year and she has blossomed into one of the most happiest and outgoing little girls now. They also did wonders with her potty training (she is fully potty trained now)! We cant say enough about the wonderful teachers. Thank you for loving and caring for our girls like your own. We are truly grateful!!

I can’t tell enough people how much I LOVE Sunshine House Brentwood 2 Preschool. They help your child learn and grow in so many ways! Letters, shapes, colors, animals, potty training (yes!!!) and monthly themed luncheons are just a few things they offer. The loving staff can’t be beat! They know each child and parent, they take the time to send us pictures or write us notes about how our children are doing.My son attended for two years and is thriving in Kinder! He is ahead of most of his class with sight words and math. My daughter is now enrolled at SH2, and potty training took less than a month! She is the opposite of my son and loves art and all things messy! Learning time, art, free play, songs, they have it all. Brooke can’t wait to tell me what she has learned each day!They always stay connected to the parents with their website and Facebook account. They offer a monthly calendar to let us know the upcoming topics. We try to coordinate our outfits or share items to match the weeks lesson. I look forward to the luncheons so I can volunteer and be a part of their day.They offer fun extras for the parents too, like Pizza night!! Kids stay and watch movies and enjoy pizza with their friends while you have a fun date night, or run errands without the kids. Very helpful, especially around the holidays.Thank you SH2 for helping my kids grow, learn, and thrive. As a parent, I love knowing that both my children are in excellent hands!!

My husband and I chose Sunshine House after searching for months in the Antioch/Brentwood area. Unfortunately, there were not a lot of good childcare centers in that area. We were looking for a place where children spent their day in a mix of individual and group activities. Where each day would include time for games, activities, songs, stories, sound cards, art and music. We were blessed to have found Sunshine House B2 – which happens to be clean, organized, affordable (they even offer breakfast/lunch in the pricing), and flexible! We visited both Brentwood locations - on Chestnut and the one on Walnut (which is where our son attends). Both were awesome - well kept, with very friendly staff. We went with Brentwood 2 (Walnut) because it was larger and the outside play area was amazing.He has been attending for almost a year and began at Sunshine House when he turned 2 June 2017, we were anxious – but Sunshine House and our son were a perfect fit and they did so well together! Sunshine House sent us updates on how he was doing that first week. They sent pictures and small notes home which made it easier on us. The relationship felt positive and trusting. Our favorite things about Sunshine House are the several different hours they offer children to attend, the ridiculously friendly staff (ALWAYS smiling – and uhmmm we all know children can run us CRAZY!) staff is also consistent – we (our little one included) are always greeted by staff, the organization/cleanliness of the place! (this was a priority for me), the various different activities they have planned throughout the year. Although our little one enjoys nearly everyone he meets, he really loves Ms. Liz. Most of the teachers seem genuine, warm, and happy to be there.I would recommend Sunshine House to update the Facebook/IG page daily with pictures and activities and to offer observation sessions for parents to come observe their child while in their day-to-day – something more in depth in where the parent get to see hands on how their child does at school.We love in the direction he is going and how much he has learned and grown in JUST half a year! Sunshine House B2 is a beautiful, safe place to entrust your child to.

My daughter Charlotte has absolutely thrived attending the Sunshine House Brentwood 2. She currently only goes 3 afternoons a week (at 3.5 yrs old) and its just the right amount, for her personally.She comes home daily with stories of the friends she played with, the songs she sang, what shes learned about, and all the things shes done. She adores her teachers, and I truly love the personal notes we get in her cubby on occasion, letting us know how shes doing. I love how every week focuses on a letter from the alphabet in order, and that there are letter-appropriate themes and a song with correlating sign language revolving around that letter of the week. (I check the parent emails sent out weekly so I can learn the songs myself to sing with her at home!)The kids even know me as Charlottes mom when I come to pick her up, which feels wonderful knowing they all know who she is (and in turn who I am). I could not be happier; we feel so fortunate to have found such an incredible preschool. Thanks to everyone there, for all you do.

We have been part of the Sunshine House #2 Family for many years now. Our older son (now 10), started there when he was 2 years old. He is now in 4th grade, and doing extremely well, and we believe it has a lot to do with where he started. We now have a 4 year old son there, and we feel he is already more then ready to start Kindergarden.We love the fact, that almost all of the Teachers have been with SSH for many many years, most have been there since we started in 2005. We also love how all the Teachers at SSH #2 truly make each of the kids there feel like they are their favorites. We also love the little yellow hand written notes we get once in a while telling us a little something cool they noticed our Son doing that day.If your on the fence about what program to send your Child too, I strongly encourage you to have your Son or Daughter spend a day with the Teachers, and all the potential Friends at SSH #2. I know they would love it, just like both of our Boys have.Thank you Sunshine House #2 for taking such good care of our Boys, it is so hard leaving them every morning, but it puts our minds at ease knowing they are in great hands!!!Sincerely,Mike & Kelly Britto

We wanted to recommend Sunshine House 2 because my daughter Skyler P absolutely loves it! My daughter has been going for about 8 months now and has learned so much! Her speach has developed nicely, as well as her knowledge of colors, shapes and music! She is always singing new song, and talking about what she learned that day. Shes only going part time now, and I cant wait till shes full time, just so we can see how much more shell grow! My daughter is in her third year at Sunshine House and she has absolutely flourished! She is always excited to go to school each day with her share item and participate in the many wonderful offerings - circle time, share time, center time, play time (of course!), yoga, bootcamp and Pre-K, among others. We chose Sunshine House 2 based on the learning environment and curriculum, the long tenure of teachers at the school (several have been there for 20+ years!), the facility (lots of room, clean, organized and a great big playyard) and also the very flexible hours and pick-up times. Each day we are greeted by the friendly staff with a hello and smile! The teachers are in tune with my daughters personality, what she has been up to, how she is doing both at school and at home. They can even tell me what she ate for lunch each day! I l absolutely ove reading the notes posted on her cubbie about something my daughter did or talked about on a given day and how she is enjoying the various offerings. The special series like Strong Start where feelings and empathy are discussed and modeled are a bonus. Additional fun activities such as monthly themed lunches and holiday events for Easter, Mothers Day, Christmas, etc. allow for greater parent involvement and participation. Each event is so well planned and cherished. The staff is also very flexible with additional drop-in days/times to help accomodate busy schedules. They even offer breakfast for early drop-offs and a hot lunch supplement each day if your child brings a lunchbox. Regular Friday pizza nights with movie, pizza and dessert is another of my daughters favorite events! We will greatly miss Sunshine House when our daughter moves on to kindergarten this summer. They have been instrumental in her early development and she is more than ready to start school both academically (writing many words, counting to high numbers and sounding out letters in words as a start to reading) and emotionally (building friendships, empathy and finding solutions). Sunshine house is the best preschool in brentwood and very affordable. Since my son has been going there, hes definatly smarter just in a few months. Every single staff member is wonderful and a pleasure to talk to. Always a friendly greeting when we walk through the door. Although my little guy isnt the easiest to drop off, they all make me feel easier about it when i leave and assure me he will be okay. The curriculum is on point and then some. They are very creative with the way they teach the children, and they deliver it in so many different styles for every kids learning styles. I would definatly recommend sunshine house. The staff looks happy to be their and so do the kids. They also keep the facility very clean and farely germ free which is amazing!

Ali is leaving in couple of months to start KG, Sunshine house was like a family rather than school. We couldnt have done it without them.They will be missed.
