Love this place! Staff always professional and the students do a great job. Got root touch up high lights today, done by Bailey and she did an awesome job. Color matched to perfection!

My stylist Is Laken Day she is awesome. Very knowledgeable of her craft. Friendly and makes having my hair styled. So much fun. The prices are very reasonable. I always like to tip my stylist they are training and dont draw a paycheck for there hard work. The salon is always clean and compliant to covid.

This place is great! I would recommend calling to make an appointment but it isnt required. I walked in, was assigned a student. Showed her the way I wanted it cut and it couldnt have been better. I have a ton of hair and always have it layered and thinned. They also have mani/pedi station as well as eyebrow. They service all. Everyone is so nice and helpful.

After looking at all the schools in the area I decided on Exalt Academy. They prepared me for the busy life of a stylist and give you realistic expectations of working in a salon. They encourage students to do things that they never thought they could do and support you when you meet even the smallest of goals. I can honestly say Im happy I decided to go to this school.. I not only gained the skills needed to pursue this career but a salon family Ill never forget. Bek, Jamie, and Trish are awesome at what they do and they mold students into confident cosmetologists. Exalt was a life changing experience for me.

Attending Exalt Academy is the best decision I have ever made. I did a lot of research and visited every school in the area before making my decision. The instructors are amazing. They take the time to really help you understand all aspects of this career. The instructors as well as all the students have quickly become family.

I have tried twice to come in, each time with three hours until closing time. Both times I have been told that they have no students who can take me. If an appointment is required, I have no problem with that. However, there are two very large signs in the window that state Walk Ins Welcome. Obviously, this is not the case if someone cant take me in three hours.

As a customer: The quality of services is at or above that of most salons. In the rare instances of student learning experiences, services are corrected immediately and without question.As a student: This is the last institution in a 90 mile radius that can still accommodate a personalized schedule for working adults, parents, and non-traditional students. Additionally, this is one of the few institutions that is is achievable to attend while paying- and they offer personalized payment plans. The environment provides both autonomy and support- and an unending opportunity for learning experience with a quantity of clientele that rivals most salons.

I went in to get a toner and a blowout on my hair. She didn’t section my hair for the blowout and didn’t even use the straightener on it had to leave with hair in a ponytail. Not very friendly and my hair didn’t look any different than it did when I went in. My daughter had her nails done and the quality was awful nail polish on her skin and just sloppy painting. Had to leave and have the nail polish removed and redone somewhere else. We will not go back and would not recommend.

I love this school! The student here are friendly and try hard to get you what you want. I have not only learned from the instructors but other students. Working the salon is great practice and a great way to prep for the real salon business. Highly recommend going there for school or a service.

Love the Exalt Academy, staff are so friendly, my wife and I look forward to our hair cuts. The trainer oversees all the students and we love the way they offer encouragement to the trainees. Never had a bad experience and always a super cut at a bargain price.

Amazing experience. Spent a total of 5 hours having tons of old color removed and then hair redyed - so worth it! My hair looks and feels like its the first time its ever been colored. Not even 10 minutes after leaving, I stopped to get lunch and a stranger complimented the new color. Nice people, amazingly talented student stylists.

My first time here. It was mostly a nice experience. The students and staff were very friendly. I had a very complicated color and cut request and was paired with a student by the name of Megan. She was outstanding. The color is vibrant and beautiful and the cut she gave me was perfect for me. She followed every request I had and gave me the only haircut in my life that I have ever looked in the mirror and didnt have a single complaint. I had never had a haircut that fit me and my preferencees so well. However, when students are done cutting, they have a member of the training staff check their cuts. Megan grabbed a staff member and she began looking over my head when another woman picked up a pair of sheers and began re-cutting my entire head. This woman did not say hello or introduce herself. She did not ask if what she was doing was what I wanted, but instead just did what she thought was best. I later inquired as to who she was and was informed that she is the owner. She was far too clinical and not very personable. My hair still looks great but its not the personal master piece that I saw in the mirror. The original cut may not have been perfect but it was everything I wanted. I will be returning because over all it was the best hair experience Ive ever had. I can only give 4 stars due to the almost rude and controlling nature of the owner.

Being in healthcare for the past 10 years I have chose to embrace another path. Exalt Academy has become more than a school for me. It’s like another family. I have learned so much in the past 6 months of being there. The instructors are absolutely as amazing as my clients. The schools owner and instructors have such s huge heart. The behind the scene work they do is unbelievable. I could not have picked a better school to attend.

Horrible place to go to school! Drama all the time! Dont pay in full cause you will not get your money back for the hours you need. I transferred somewhere else and the owner refuses to give me my difference. You work on the floor like a salon every day. They use you for the income coming in from clients. All the students get is tips. Plus I had to do several errands for the owner which had nothing to do with the school. Its a shame I paid in full for 1500 hours only to have to transfer with my 700 hours and not get any money back. Places like this is why you cant be a good person in todays world..

Last time I was in I had my hair streaked. Im still delighted every time I look in the mirror! It looks as pretty as my little grandsons naturally blonde hair that has all the sunshine in it!
