Teachers CARE and are Christian guides for the students. The low student to teacher ratio allows an exceptional learning experience. Learning about Jesus is ongoing at Immanuel.

My son attends elementary school here and we have been so blessed by the attention and individual care that our son has received. He is thriving and loves going each day. He sings worship songs constantly, loves to memorize his verses, participates in hands on learning every day, and we absolutely adore Mrs. Clark! We hands down recommend the smaller classes, the Christian environment, and caring staff at Immanuel.

My daughter is in first grade at Immanuel, and we could not be happier with our decision to send her there. The school has a true community between the grades, and the kids have such a sense of their own identities, spiritually and scholastically. They all are challenged to their own needs. My daughter is growing every day, most importantly in her walk with Christ, but also in the way her daily work is tailored to her. I never would have imagined my shy daughter standing up and giving presentations, but that’s exactly what she does in first grade. She’s reading, writing, and completing math far beyond what I would have thought in one short year. She is not only pushed, she is encouraged and loved every step of the way. She is learning daily that she is a Daughter of the King and loved wholly by God. Her spiritual growth since starting at ILCA is immeasurable. We are thankful for a staff that pray for every single student by name. Based on our experience with our oldest daughter, we will continue to send all of our children through Immanuel. We love our school!

We are so thankful for this school. Our three kids are receiving a fantastic education -- they attended ILCAs preschool as well -- and are surrounded by a staff that loves and cares for them like family. We love the individual attention they get because of small class sizes, and the opportunities to participate in sports and the arts.

My children are passionate about being Immanuel Crusaders and they all love the Lord. They are given many opportunities to learn in Christ and serve like Jesus. We are pleased with their elementary academics and the promise of a higher education in high school with great teachers and coaches.

UPDATE 1/4/16:After seeing my review the administration reached out to and updated their policy in regards to the mandatory enrollment fee to use online payments. Apparently they will be providing the option to parents rather than making the online payments mandatory. This is much appreciated and I felt heard about the complaint I had. While it was upsetting for the higher administration not to get back to me after emails and calls it was nice to know the person I see on a daily basis kept my issue at the top of her priority list.I did want to add that the preschool director is amazingly kind and communicative with parents. There are weekly emails from her in regards to the activities at the school and that allows parents to participate more than most of the schools weve had experience with.Previous Review:My son has now been attending the preschool for a whole month and while I am quite impressed with teachers and amount of care and concern they show the children I am not impressed with policy or administration.I was told online payments were available during my tour of the school however it was not mentioned that they were mandatory and to make online payments you would need to pay a $50 fee on top of 2.75 percent fee for each transaction. This amounts to roughly $265 during a calendar year in addition to tuition. When I spoke to the preschool director who is lovely she mentioned I would need permission to opt out of the online program from the school director. I emailed a week ago, called the next day and left a voicemail, and still have not heard back from anyone. When my husband paid the bill in full with cash he was told there would be a $50 for the online program. I understand that this may be affordable to some parents but I feel God calls us to be a steward of our finances and to pay an additional $264 per year to pay someone is not a lesson we should teach our kids. Convenience should not trump good sense when it comes to finances. Hoping someone will call me back.

My Children have attended ILCA for years. I can honestly say that even though I graduated from the Union school system, I could not imagine my children ever attending another school. The teachers are incredible and show not only passion for teaching, but loving compassion for the children. Every student has the opportunity to pursue their individual interests, whether that is athletics, fine arts, academics, etc... So many times children get lost in the crowd and are afraid to pursue what they love or are told they just arent good enough. This school gives every student that chance to pursue their dreams and is a true gem and a blessing to our community!

Immanuel is absolutely the best experience for my child. My daughter scores consistently 2+ grades above her level in all subjects. In addition to her academic competencies, I am assured that the Bible teachings are there daily. My wife and I can highly recommend Immanuel to everyone who is seeking a great education Pre-school thru grade 12 to be paired with strong Lutheran doctrine. That is why we have been there since 2004.
