My son was at the summercrest facility for just 6 months and had 22 accident reports. He is now out of there! I thought it looked like a nice place and I liked the fact that I could watch him on camera but boy was I wrong! On March 1st (2 weeks before his 2nd birthday) my son got his finger slammed in the bathroom door and the tip was 3/4 of the way off and was broken. He was sent to children’s medical center in Dallas and almost lost the tip of his finger. They had to put him under and reconstruct his finger and was placed in a whole arm cast for 3 weeks. The bad thing is no one could tell me what exactly happened. It was the bathroom door where the cameras do not reach.... also, on many occasions I witnessed the children climbing up on book shelves and leaping off and it looked like no one even told them no, the kids were pretty much running the class, a broken bone waiting to happen. Also, he got a stomach parasite while attending, I could not prove it happened there but another child had it to. Please beware!

My son goes here, and he loves it! They work with kids so much. It is a great place to start your child off in daycare!!

My son attended this school for 3 to 4 months. In that time the door was unlocked for 90% of the time, it was “broken”. I sent my fiancé who they had never met before in to pick up my son and they released my son to him without checking his I.D, his name, who he was anything. My son is 4, he could respond happily to any one. That doesn’t mean you should just release a child that’s in your custody to someone without knowing who they are especially with a door that has no lock on it and NO ONE ever by the front door at all times. Also there is an iPad that is at the front that the parents are supposed to check the child in and out from, the entire time my son attended this school I never used it, not once, because no one ever told. At one point I saw another mom use it and I asked the lady at the front desk if I was supposed to be doing that and she said “yeah I’ll show you tomorrow” and went back to what she was doing. Not even slightly concerned for my sons well being. Also the time he was here he couldn’t count to 20 without skipping like 5 numbers, he said his days of the week all out of order and also had little girls that literally drove him crazy hanging on him and trying to kiss him with no back up or help standing up for himself from his teacher. Last but not least they have a video camera in the rooms, my son has been unenrolled for 4 weeks now, I still have acces to these cameras at a school where my son no longer attends. That scares me and it should scare the school too!! My son has been at a new school for 3 weeks, he can now count to 100 with no help, say his abcs, knows his days of the week, can spell and write his name and does all of these confidently and happily because his teacher that he has now takes pride in him. I wouldn’t recommend this school to my worst enemy.

My wife took a tour of this facility. Asking questions about our 5 year old who is autistic and didnt seem to have any issues.. then the day my wife goes down to finalize the enrollment we are told that they are not equip to handle a 5 year old who isnt potty trained. Seems to me like they are refusing us due to my child being special needs..

Terrible. Employees are treated unfairly. How does this place have a 5 star rating? I don’t want my child around an ant infested facility. Management is rude. Lincensing needs to investigate on this place ASAP.

Full disclosure: Our kids never actually were enrolled here. This review is based purely on my first impression and tour of the place. However, I felt compelled to write a review since Google reviews seriously led me astray here. My husband and I were needing childcare for our 4 and 2 year old boys and decided to take a look at the Kids Kampus Creative Learning Center off of Vicksburg Ln in Burleson. We took a tour of the facility on 10/10/2014. Not impressed at all and I got bad vibes as soon as we walked in. We were ignored for a good 5 minutes before someone came to help us, then during the tour I noticed a number of troubling things. First of all, the layout of the place is RIDICULOUS. Its hard to explain but basically the rooms are attached to each in a way that in order to get to the furthest room, you have to go through almost ALL of the other rooms. Its just an awkward set up. The rooms (some have half walls) themselves were MUCH too small for all of the children in each classroom. I found the whole place very claustrophobic. The 2 year olds do not get naps to sleep on, just their blanket from home on the floor. The 3 and 4 year olds sleep on cots all together in a dirty, musty gym-like building, that seems solely used for that purpose. I will say their playground was average/adequate. They do separate the toddlers from the preschoolers and the equipment seemed fine. But the inside is just AWFUL. Also, I toured during their lunch time and saw what kind of food the kids eat. That particular day I saw them eating a tortilla with what looked like bologna and ranch. GROSS. Did I also mention how claustrophobic and small the place was? The whole place seemed like a fire hazard. The staff, while friendly enough to me, just didnt give a professional, attentive, or educated appearance. Im not being snobby here- just keeping it real. There are several awesome child care centers in Burleson but this place is not one of them. Its dirty, unorganized, and has terrible food and no cameras inside the facility that I know of (cant speak for the other locations). No chance in hell Im leaving little ones here. RUN AWAY!!
