Lyssette is a wonderful driving instructor! I felt very comfortable with her while driving; she is very patient and kind. I am an awkward person, but talking to her for two hours was easy. If you live in the IE, take her. :^)The pricing was very fair for the service.

If you suffer from anxiety and need an instructor, I highly recommend Shannon P! I had 5 lessons with Shannon. She was a wonderful instructor. She is very patient and kind while she is teaching. Her explanations are easy to understand and she will answer any questions or concerns you have at any time. She will let you practice until either you or her feel like its time move onto the next lesson or technique. She gives and writes down tips or reminders onto a piece of paper to look at once each lesson is done. During the time I felt down or frustrated, Shannon motivated me and re-explained things in a calmly manner and never showed that she was frustrated with me. Shannon is an awesome instructor and Cantors Driving School is very lucky to have her as one of their driving instructors. I wish I can give more than a 5 stars!

I passed! 😁 As of this morning, I am a fully licensed California driver, and its in great part thanks to Cantors! My primary instructor, Lysset, was absolutely amazing! She had such a friendly and calm demeanor and prepared me well for several situations I might face while driving, even past whats required for the exam. She was also ready to answer any questions I had at a moments notice. My secondary instructor, Greg, was only with me for one lesson, but not only did he teach me several things about driving on the road, he also taught me several important things about vehicle maintenance in general. It was truly a blessing to have been taught by these wonderful people and these classes were well worth the investment! If you or your child needs drivers insctruction, this is the place to get it!

My driver was Lysset she was very helpful, nice, and she explained everything very well! When i was more nervous on winding roads she helped me get out of them and to take a breath and to relax before trying again. She also told me where i could improve in my driving. I highly recommend.

The process of scheduling was very easy and clear. I had Shannon P as my instructor and she always made sure I never left with any questions about driving. I purchased 3 classes from can tours driving school and I worked with the instructor, Lysset who has +10 years of experience working with students to better prepare them as new drivers. Before enrolling and driving courses with Cantors Driving School I carried a lot of anxiety and stress related to family deaths within car accidents. Lyssett was extremely patient, helpful and understanding with me. As the lessons went on I took three courses from August 25th to October 2nd, I can tell that Lysset was able to gauge what type of learner I am whether that be visually or Hands-On. With this information she was able to connect with me as a student and find different ways or techniques that she knew that I would learn best. I found your attention to detail and calm approach very helpful in my journey as a student. I did not leave this Driving School as a perfect driver, ready to take my driving test, as I still need more time to learn behind the wheel on my own and I deeply appreciate the instruction that I received from Lysset. Now Im about to take what Ive learned with Lyssett and Cantors Driving School, and apply it on-the-road.I would definitely recommend this school to people that feel like they need a patient, trained instructor to guide them as a new driver. After my first class I did see that the school would be great for people that are able to practice driving on their own time in preparation for their next class with the instructor to apply the skills that they learned in their last class. With taking into account how much insurance is for the vehicle that I trained in I did feel like the class prices were affordable.I do suggest that if youre interested in cant drive in school to look ahead of time at their scheduling system get familiar with it as I had some trouble learning it. I was very nervous about my first driving lesson. On my first lesson I had the instructor Christy. I had a great experience and made sure to schedule the rest of my lessons with her. She was amazing and made me comfortable. She definitely knows what she’s doing and gave me great tips. Thanks to her I just passed my driving test on my first try very recently!! My instructor was Lysset and I am definitely happy with my experience learning to drive with her. She was calm and firm with corrections and instructions. Learning to drive can be a bit overwhelming no matter whos teaching you, but I feel I probably had the best experience I could ask for, considering I was able to learn pretty quickly and get more comfortable pretty quickly! And when I did well, Lysset would let me know!

Lysset was a very professional driving instructor who helped my teen establish confidence in her driving. She was very calm and always took the time to explain afterwards how my daughter did on each lesson. She was both encouraging and informational. Overall, I would highly recommend Lysset Castellanos as a driving instructor!

I still have one lesson left, but with the prior two, Mrs. Lyssett has been a great instructor for me. She gave me tips on my driving both when I was doing it and pulled over to the side. Once we began Freeway driving, she gave off this comfortable environment in the vehicle, which included wishing my luck and commenting that I did very good on my execution of maneuvers. If I could, I would keep booking lessons with her just for the fact that she boosted my self-esteem and confidence of driving practice. And let me just say, $130 per lesson (if you’re going individually) for 2 hours is a pretty good deal, especially if you’re looking for something cheap, yet very high in information/quality. In addition, I love the fact that they pick you up, then drop you back off at the location that you’re from. I would suggest this school to plenty of people looking for a great lesson and instructor.

I really loved this program because they made sure to remind you when your sessions were in case you forgot, they are on time, and their instructors are very good. My driving experience with my instructor, Christy, was beyond amazing!! I had major social anxiety and anxiety in generally about being in the car with someone I did not know, but Christy made it such an amazing experience for me. I dreaded the thought of having to go through a driving school, but I loved my experience with them. I took my behind the wheel test a couple of days ago, and with Christy’s help, I passed with the smallest mistakes ever. At first i was really nervous before all my driving lessons but my instructor Shannon helped me gain confidence to drive and guided me to become a safe driver. She is the reason I was able to pass my driving test from all the tips she gave me of what to do and what not to do on the test.

Cantors Driving School program was great! Christy was my instructor and she explained everything well and she was friendly. I was really nervous about being in the car with an instructor, but I felt comfortable being in the car with her. I passed my test on the first try :)

Ill be honest and admit that Cantors was not my first choice. However, I ended up buying the bronze package from here: 3 lessons, 2 hours each. It was around $180 (I cant remember the exact price) and for me that was steep since I was paying for it on my own. With that being said, after actually attending lessons here I would say the prices are justified. Their scheduling is very easy and flexible. For my first lesson I had Christy, she was standing in for my original instructor who got sick before our first lesson. When my original instructor got sick, the manager actually called me to let me know, and he asked me if I wanted to cancel the days lesson or if I would go ahead and drive with another instructor. I really appreciated this because not only does that show good communication skills, it also shows that they care about their customers. Christy was very bright, friendly, and patient. She never made me feel bad for a mistake just better explained it and calmed me down. It was like driving with a good friend. My original instructor Lysset was also very friendly and patient. Whenever I made a mistake she would explain again. If I didnt understand a concept she would have me pull over to the curb and she would visually explain the concept to me with her clipboard, paper, and markers. I really appreciated that because I am actually a visual learner and it made it so much more easier to understand the lessons. All in all, I had a very good experience with this driving school and even though it wasnt my 1st choice Im actually very happy that I went ahead and got lessons through them. The service was great everyone was friendly and professional. And Im actually really confident about my driving test that its coming up soon!
