I have known Kim for the last decade. A dedicated professional, she loves to mix her commitment to her students with her love of all things dance and health.

My daughter takes hip-hop twice a week with Kim. It is truly her favorite place to be. Kim teaches technique and fun at the same time. I am always amazed by how many new steps they learn each session. Watching the kids move and dance is really impressive. I highly recommend for anyone who has a kid who wants to dance the entire class and not find even a minute to be bored or unchallenged. Oh and it’s in a nice shopping center

I have to honestly say I am so proud of Kim. She has always had a love of dance and the arts. To see her perform at recital and seeing each child glow w pride and excitement proves just how much Kim loves her job. It is also not just a job for her. Our daughter has been attending Millpond Dance Studio for 2 years now, and we could not be any more impressed! Ms Kim (the owner) is hands down the best around. She has amazing talent and shares her gift with each and every one of her dancers in a fun, yet organized way! The studio is clean and the entire staff is great! “Dance days” have become my daughter’s favorite days of the week. I truly can’t say enough great things and highly recommend it for your dancer, whether beginner or advanced!

My 5yo daughter moved to Millpond dance from another dance company about a year ago and could not be happier. She loves Miss Kim and has so much fun! Not long ago I became the bonus dad* to an 8-year-old daughter that was really into dance. At that time she was taking classes at a large dance studio and had been for a few years. Even though I didn’t have any experience with dance I instantly wasn’t impressed and the parent observation days were just a joke.I was so happy when Millpond Dance opened and we switched instantly without any regrets. My daughter loved it and learned more in one year with Kim than all of the other years combined. There is a difference between someone showing you a skill and someone teaching you a skill. With Kim, I finally felt like my daughter was being taught how to dance and it definitely showed.The recital was amazing and you could see that this studio was not only about dance but also very family oriented and personal. My daughter has taken ballet, tap and hip hop and has loved all three. Ms. Kim is young and fun and the kids love her! Its the perfect type of dance studio: one that can accommodate a dancer who really takes dance seriously as well as one that is great for the recreational young dancer. Kim (the studio owner), has an incredible gift that she amazingly shares with all of her students. She has grace, patience and skill and knows how to transfer her knowledge of dance to her students in just the right way. The studio is clean, spacious and conveniently located with plenty of parking. I always recommend this studio to my friends that are looking for a place to dance again (adult tap) as well as a place for their children to expand their interest in all types of dance.

This dance studio is not your ordinary Studio. There’s no competitive teams or the drama that goes along with. What there is is an encouraging teacher (Kim) who has a true pation for dance, has the patience of a saint, and loves working with kids. The main focus here is to be who you are while embracing dance. I wouldn’t want my daughter anywhere but right here.

Millpond Dance Studio is such a great place! My 4 1/2 year old adores Ms. Kim and thinks she hung the moon! And so do I!! My daughter has worked through stage fright and learning dance skills in just one year! We can’t wait to start back in January!!!

Awesome (WHOLESOME) place for the entire family. My granddaughter danced there before moving out of state and she loved it. Having two older daughters that took dance in Atlanta... hands down... the owner is like no other instructor.

We LOVE Millpond Dance!!! Kim is so engaging with the little ones. She keeps them moving and having fun the whole time. Our 4.5 year old shouts, “YESSSS!” Every time I tell her it’s time to get ready for ballet. Neither of us are previous dancers, but from observing, it looks like she is teaching them some great foundational things in a very fun and energetic way. Plus, what little girl doesn’t t love dancing to Let it Go?!

Our 10 year old daughter has enjoyed 3 years of dancing in Kim’s fantastic classes! She goes 2 nights/week and wants to do more! We recommend Millpond without reservations.

After four long years and too much money at one of the big, fancy dance studios, I was happy to find out that a new, smaller dance studio was opening. After just a couple of months at Millpond Dance, my daughter learned more skill and technique than the four years combined at the previous studio. Kim is truly passionate about dance and even more passionate about teaching.Millpond is rooted in Kim’s love for dance and wanting to share that with others. The bigger studio started to feel like all they wanted was my money. As a former dancer myself, I felt that my daughter should have received a lot more technical instruction, especially with the monthly tuition rates that I was paying. At Millpond, my daughter was finally learning technique and being challenged.After having to take a few years off to start middle school activities, my daughter misses dance and Miss Kim and is hoping to return soon.

My 3 boys have been a part of Millpond dance for the last 3 years!! They love it and love Ms. Kim and Ms. Candace!! My children are extremely shy and they have both been very patient with them! We LOVE millpond Dance!! We found the studio on a whim a little over 2 years ago (for my then 3 year old) and fell in love.Kim, the owner and teacher, goes way above and beyond to make personal connections and build relationships with the students. The studio has provided an awesome dance class experience, but is so much more then that to us! My daughter talks about Ms. Kim all week long and is so excited each Monday for Dance class day!!! My daughter has gained confidence in herself, body awareness, learned how to follow the structure of a class and has so much fun.The recital each year is also an awesome experience. The kids get to perform on a real stage and get to learn about everything that goes into putting on a show!Fantastic studio, fantastic teachers! If we are lucky enough, we wil have Ms. Kim and her dance classes in our future for a long time!!
