Our family absolutely loves Castle Academy! Our 1 1/2 year old is excited to go to school everyday. The daily logs, photos and video access allow me to check in often. The owners have done a fantastic job to keep this daycare open and safe during the pandemic. We are very grateful for Castle Academy!

We absolutely loved our experience here the first year of our daughters life. The one sad part about leaving Colorado was leaving this daycare as they really were amazing. I cant imagine trying to navigate through COVID with the responsibility of taking care of others children, and I feel theyve done a great job keeping everyone safe and healthy. If youre searching for daycare, you dont have to look any further.

An amazing place. We are very grateful to have Joel and Jody in our family. Jessica who runs the front desk is precious. My son loves it and learns a ton. The teachers are great too, and they know what they are doing. Every time I pick up my boy they are always engaged in some beneficial activity. And for Christmas they had Santa and a real reindeer. And the tuition is affordable.A real place owned by real people. You probably wont find a better place in CR, especially if you live in the Meadows.

Joel and Jodi, you have FAILED my son miserably by teaching him a lesson that in times of trouble and difficulties he is nothing but nuisance to the teachers and school. We’ve been trying to work with you but you offered no plan or suggestions on how to help our son adjust to a new class, after moving to a new town, home and a school. After two weeks you pretty much made up your mind and labeled him as troublemaker, instead of offering helpful solutions. Your lack of genuine care, compassion and love for a child is very apparent. I’ve heard a positive comment about my son ONCE (other than ‘he’s been good’) during the time he was there, and that’s only because I was probing. He’s been at another school consistently for two years where teachers cared for him and helped him to excel academically. He was loved, valued and supported by his teachers. The ratio was exactly the same as at your school. I’m very saddened to see this, we’ve heard so much good about your school. You had a chance to make a difference in my son’s life and you failed miserably! Disclaimer: infant room teachers were great and very loving towards our baby, but I haven’t even been able to say ‘thank you’ after somewhat hostile reception when I went to pick up my kids belongings. So if you’re reading this Roxann, Rosa, Jenn, Leah and Lauren – Thank You for everything!!!

I wish I had found Castle Academy earlier in my kids preschool lives. Unfortunately we only got to complete one year before kindergarten, but it was fantastic. Everything from the light, bright, modern facility to the loving caring teachers, to the lunch and snacks being included, to the playgrounds, to the communication overall has been outstanding. My son has learned to read and write before kindergarten. We will miss you Castle Academy! Thank you!

Our daughter has been at Kids R Kids since 12 weeks old. We have had a wonderful and positive experience. The owners, teachers, and staff have been warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The curriculum is impressive-our daughter is learning sign language, and developing motor and social skills. This center is truly amazing and we look forward to having our daughter continue to grow there. Thanks to the owners, teachers, and staff for all you do!

I have my two children, a preschooler and a toddler, at Castle Academy and have for over a year and LOVE it!!! The teachers are wonderful and the office staff are all wonderful people and they all show they truly care about my children. I had no plans on leaving my kids in daycare past preschool but since they offer Montessori based Kindergarten, I am absolutely leaving them there through Kindergarten. I would recommend Castle Academy to all my friends and family. My favorite perk is that I can watch them online throughout my day so I can see what theyre doing if Im not able to be with them.

Our 17 month old daughter has been at Kids R Kids for 3 months and she loves it! We are pleased with the staff, curriculum, and the attention that our daughter receives. An added bonus is the camera system that we are able to view throughout the day. Its nice to check in and see what our little girl is up to. We would fully recommend this child care center to everyone!

We have sent our sons to a couple of different schools in Castle Rock and Castle Academy is by far the best. My son is thriving both educationally and emotionally at their school. The teachers are incredibly friendly and so positive with the kids. Ive also noticed there is very little turnover in the staff at Castle Academy compared to other preschools. Most importantly, the owners truly care about the kids. While this is their business, it clear the care of the kids is first and foremost. Its also important to note that CA is more affordable than most of the other schools in CR. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Weve been very impressed with Kids R Kids. Jenn & Roxann went above & beyond in taking care of our daughter! Even though there are many kids in the class, they do an excellent job at providing individual attention & love to each child. Our daughter was sad to move on to the next room because she developed a genuine bond with those teachers. However, she is now enjoying her new room with new friends! We were amazed with all of the arts & crafts they make, indoor & outdoor activities that are provided, & sign language that she learns. The Watch Me Grow website makes us feel like we are a part of her day and is reassuring for parents to have access to watch. Our daughter loves going to Kids R Kids, and we know that she is well cared for every day!

Word of warning! We were totally floored to learn, by email, that our 4 year old son was expelled from Castle Academy after only 1 month. This past Wednesday they said that they want him OUT by the end of the week. What was his crime against humanity? Merely behaving like a typical 4 year old having a tantrum (kicking, hitting, throwing things etc…). This testing behavior was something I thought that we were working through with the school, but apparently this school operates on a zero tolerance platform. Please do not risk sending your children to this school. I believe that there is a greater than 90% chance that your child would be fine here, and the facilities appear to be excellent. However, please consider the potential consequences of being one of the unlucky ones. Research has shown that children below the age of 5 who are expelled from school have a greater chance of receiving unnecessary medical and psychological evaluation, unnecessary medication, have a greater chance to drop out of school or face other academic disciplinary action in the future, and even have a greater chance of ending up in prison. Please search for “preschool to prison” articles. This is because it is essential at this age that children receive love and compassion from their teachers. This is a period where bonding to teachers is very important. This school sent my son the message that he is not wanted there and by doing so may have set him up for irreparable psychological damage that may haunt him all his life… thanks a lot Castle Academy. I was so wrong to trust the well-being of my family to you!A school that is unable to deal with NORMAL 4 year old behavior should not be in business and may do more harm to children than good with their self-serving practices. They simply do not care and their teachers are children themselves who lack the experience to deal with ANY children in a consistent manner that could be considered safe for the child or that has the best interest of the child in mind.My incessant prayer is that the Lord will deal with them as they have dealt with us.

Choosing a daycare was very difficult for us and I always find reviews helpful so I felt the need to write one.We are so pleased with our experience at Castle Academy. Our daughter has been going there for 2 weeks now and I cant say enough about the ladies that take care of her in the infant room. Today was the first day that I didnt watch the cameras at all and I had absolutely no anxiety about her well being. Every time I pick her up the staff is so welcoming and she is always happy. Im so glad that we have found this place. If youre trying to decide on a daycare....GO VISIT CASTLE ACADEMY

Called 3 times in the past month to get information about their facility. 2 times left detailed voicemails. I never, ever received even a call back and only was contacted back by email once I expressed my frustration. Just blamed their voicemail system. Definitely not a good look for a business. If we did that at my job we would be fired.Their facility might be good. But their customer service is awful.

WORST DAYCARE IN CASTLE ROCK!There are far better places to go in Castle Rock to take your children. The center was great when we first started and this last summer they lost a lot of there teachers and hired a lot of high school students. The center started to smell and things were a mess. The final straw was when my we had an incedient with one of the teachers who hurt my son. The center would not show me the tape it was never working and when I was showed the tape they tried to fast forward through it. I was told he was being terrible every day! But was never called or informed or any behavioral issues until this happened. He is now in a better school and no issues.

Castle Academy is by far the worst daycare and has the worst owners I have ever experienced in my over 15 years working with children. I recently had to withdraw my 2.5 year old son after 3 days (one day having camera access) after witnessing my son being pushed to the ground, kicked, punched and picked on by other kids, 4 incidents (THAT I SAW) in one single day. I know that it’s normal with the age here and there, but when it’s a constant issue throughout the day and not being handled properly, children are affected by this and don’t feel like they are safe if the adults watching over them aren’t going to correct the issue. I realized something was wrong after the second day drop off. My son was in another daycare before this and sadly we decided to find something closer and chose Castle Academy. The first day my son waltzed in the room excited to make friends. The next 2 following days he was screaming and crying and clinching onto his dad not wanting to go back. This was NOT like him and we have never experienced this before. Little did we know, there was a reason for it and I don’t blame him at all for not wanting to go back. We received camera access the third day and I was in tears watching him being isolated and bullied all while teachers were just using this time as social hour between adults rather than socializing and playing with the KIDS. A majority of the day was spent free for all rather than activities working together. My son was left playing by himself because each time he went to go try and play with other kids, they were pushing and hitting. He never ever ever had issues other than the occasional sharing at his previous daycare. But this was one incident after another, and I can’t be surprised since the kids were left to do their own thing and absolutely NO structure what so ever. After emails back and forth with the owners about this and them claiming they only saw the ONE incident that a teacher came, after about 20 seconds (as I’m sure my son was screaming since he was being kicked non stop on the ground after playing by himself) I went in later that evening with time stamps after checking the texts I sent to my child’s father about this. The one that disturbed me the most was my son was walking by outside and 3 kids attacked him and pushed him to the ground punching him and as he was trying to get away they were kicking him over and over and OVER, and after watching the video on replay with Joel, the OWNERS response to this behavior was “Well what can I say, boys will be boys”. I was startled by his response and said “excuse me?? I don’t care what gender my child is, I’m not okay with this kind of behavior”, he replied with “you’re not okay with boys wrestling????” in the most condescending way. These boys were NOT wrestling around, my son was walking by when 3 other kids pushed him to the ground and started kicking and punching him for no reason. Instead of thanking me for bringing this to his attention and addressing the issue, he would rather make a snarky comment about how this behavior is okay and then tried to blame my son. Total narcissist behavior and putting the blame on anything or anyone else rather than realizing what was wrong and fixing the problem. I can GUARANTEE you my son has never hit and never put his hand on any kid first, my son pushed a kid away after being hit numerous times, but other than that my son was never physical with any other child. The fact that this is the OWNER and he is condoning this, all while turning a blind eye to it makes me want to put the word out there that you as a parent need to watch for warning signs. I should’ve checked with other local parents who had the same issues and took their children out, I should’ve read the bad reviews that all came to be true. Stay far away from this place and if your child currently goes here watch those cameras.

My daughter was supposedly fired after starting her first 10 minutes on the job (of her very first job) because according to Jodi she threw attitude when I asked her define throwing attitude she responded with rolling eyes. Two days after she was fired she received a text asking if she could work today. Clearly, this facility disorganized and unprofessional. If that is how they treat their staff then I wouldnt consider putting my young ones in there.
