We had been attending a different Goddard in CO prior to moving to Castle Rock, so this was a no brainer when choosing a school as I knew Goddard schools typically have a good reputation. However, the Castle Rock Goddard has blown my expectations out of the water so to speak. My son had ZERO issues adjusting (not normal for him) and from day one (literally) he has told me he loved his school. He comes home happy every day, not an exaggeration!! The teachers in the K-Prep Red classroom have been nothing short of phenomenal. My sons academic learning has doubled if not tripled from the last school and he has thrived socially and emotionally! The teachers are caring, loving, kind and responsive. My favorite thing about that classroom is they do a Wish You Well wall when classmates are gone for the day and each child in class wishes the missing child(s) well. That says a lot about the teachers and type of character they are trying to instill in the kiddos. We will miss Goddard dearly as my son will be moving to Kindergarten but if youre wondering if CR Goddard is right for you, please know you will not be disappointed in this school.

We love Goddard in Castle Rock! Our oldest son went there and now our youngest son is there. From the administration to the teachers, we see a dedication to loving and educating the kids. Our son comes home every day with something new hes learned. Our oldest son went into kindergarten completely prepared socially and ahead academically. We know Goddard played a huge role in this.

The Goddard School has been an amazing place for our son for the last almost 2 years. The teachers clearly care about the students in their class, their development, and that they have fun and have outlets for creativity during the day, too. Our son continues to meet or exceed each milestone with the help of the teachers at the school during the day.Finding a reliable place to send a child in these days of uncertainty is incredibly special. The staff and owners are making special efforts to follow public health guidance to ensure the safety of our children, which is particularly reassuring to me as a physician. Since we rely heavily on needing childcare, the amount of thought and effort that they have put into their operations makes us more confident about bringing our son in every day. We highly recommend this school to anyone seeking special teachers and staff who care about the kids and families in attendance.

I cannot say enough positive words about The Goddard School of Castle Rock, they have taken amazing care of my infant since we started attending regularly. Shannon is a wonderful owner who has taken serious steps to help maintain a HEALTHY, and safe environment for both the children and the staff during this scary crisis. The extra precautions are very appreciated! The teachers are also phenomenal with my daughter, they take great care of her while I am at work, so it is very comforting knowing my little one is in such great hands. Truly wonderful experience.

We are absolutely impressed with Goddard so far! I feel great dropping him off in the morning knowing hell have a fun filled and educational day! His teachers are wonderful and really made our transition easy. They were very patient and really understood the emotional needs of our son when he first started, giving him lots of love and attention. I love the pictures I get of him during the day and the activities they do are both creative and a great learning opportunity. I can tell already he is just blossoming in his program and look forward to the next couple of years!

Our daughter has been attending The Goddard School for nearly 4 years, and we have loved her experience & growth here. The teachers that are selected to work here have all been fantastic- in fact, I just went to a Kindergarten meeting for the school our daughter is attending next year, and her future teacher commented on how great The Goddard School is- including their teachers & certifications, and how she can pick out the kids who have gone to preschool here. Our daughter is kindergarten ready, & The Goddard School has had a huge part in getting her prepared. Vince and Nancy have always had an open door if weve wanted to stop in and chat. I have always felt comfortable with the security that they have in place to keep the kids safe, and the place is always very clean. They have great academic structure, fun Summer programming, and exciting extras- like a holiday concert put on by our children, and the cutest preschool graduation ceremony ever! Thanks for giving us a great experience for our little girl, Goddard School of Castle Rock!

Our family moved back to Colorado a few years ago and our two young children had never been in a school or daycare type setting. We originally started them at a school that was close by and we had heard good things about. However, from day one we knew it was not the right fit. Fortunately we then found The Goddard School at Castle Rock and quickly made the choice to switch our two toddlers to that establishment. The Goddard School has been amazing and we our so beyond grateful that we made the switch!Despite the transition from staying at home with their mom to going to school full time being a difficult one, the experience at Goddard was night and day different from our first school attempt. We immediately felt so welcomed. The staff and teachers were waiting expectantly to welcome our nervous children. They had spots reserved for their belongings and were ready to swoop in and comfort and show our kids that they were in a safe place. It took some time for our kids to adjust to being in a school setting, but every day the staff were so encouraging and understanding and ready to teach and help our kids learn and grow. As a mother, I was able to drop off my children knowing they were loved and cared for and safe, and that is the best any parent could ask for out of a school.I watched my two children go from crying at drop off, to getting excited at just the sight of their teachers from the car as we pulled closer to the school building each morning. On top of this, our family has been beyond grateful for how The Goddard School at Castle Rock has handled the whole Covid-19 pandemic. We were first of all grateful that they remained open, as both of us work in essential business fields; but we were also impressed with HOW they kept the school open. We were updated with every change and safety precaution they made to follow cdc guidelines. It helped us feel safe sending our children there knowing that the staff were doing everything by the book and taking every safety precaution possible to keep the school Covid free. It is because of their careful adherence to the laws and health suggestions that they were able to stay open and keep the students healthy, while allowing parents to continue working with peace of mind that we weren’t endangering our children by sending them to school during this confusing time.Clearly my family has nothing but good things to say about The Goddard School at Castle Rock! We love seeing all the pictures and daily updates about what are kids are learning and doing. We adore this school and are so grateful for all the staff! I tell everyone I know with young children that I recommend The Goddard School over and over. Sorry this review is so long, but this school really was life changing for our family and we cannot say enough good things about it!

We absolutely love Goddard Castle Rock. We went through some tough childcare situations at first with our baby girl and Goddard was there to relieve our fears. The entire staff made us feel that our baby was in the best hands. I was not a fan daycare at first because I pictured my baby being lost among a classroom of others but Goddard was nothing like that. She received the individual care and attention we wanted. She also learned a lot while she was there. Each week was centered around a learning theme and we received detailed updates daily. We knew when she ate, slept, soiled her diaper, played and what she did every day. The teachers were wonderful and we knew our baby loved being there because she was so happy to see them each day. We were sad to leave due to a move but are so happy we had the wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Goddard to anyone who asked!

We have recently joined the Goddard family and could not be more pleased! My children were at another local daycare and needed a change. Having looked into every daycare in the Castle Rock area, I can say that this one stands out! They obviously take care of their teachers leading to consistency for the kids. The ratios are smaller than other facilities, which I also love. Your child isn’t just a number. My 2 year old is excited to go in the mornings and so happy in the classroom when I pick her up. Goddard also has an outstanding curriculum for both younger and older children. I am confident my older Daughter will have an easy transition to kindergarten. They provide a fun, educational environment involving businesses in the community, such as soccer buddies, which I appreciate as a working Mom. Goddard’s standards are superior and have exceeded my expectations! Do yourself a favor and check it out!

We have been a Goddard family for over 6 years. We started in 2013 when our 7 year old was 1. Since that time we have had a daughter graduate the entire Goddard program 6 weeks to 5.5 years old and a younger son also start at 6 weeks and who is now 3 and a 1/2. We have nothing but good thoughts and kind words to describe the Goddard program in Castle Rock. The owners, Vince and Nancy, go above and beyond everyday and are onsite 5 days a week. They work with families of siblings to provide a multiple child discount and are sensitive to each family’s needs. The staff at Goddard work as a team to not only care for but also teach your child basic skills. Our first grader was very prepared for kindergarten and reported that children coming from Goddard seem to have an edge in their academic skills compared to their peers. We would recommend this program to any family.

We took our son to The Goddard School from age 6 weeks to 6 months and loved their services! We would have stayed longer, but we ended up moving out of town. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about childhood development, and always willing to offer advice about questions we had at home. They were always happy to see our son, and he seemed happy at the end of the day when we picked him up. The highlight of the day was when we received pictures of his activities in email, and read the daily reports on what they taught him. We were very happy with Goddard and highly recommend them!

My daughter absolutely LOVES Goddard Castle Rock. She gets so excited when we enter the building. Goddard has the most welcoming environment. Even though my baby is in the infant room, teachers in other rooms will wish her good morning and know her by name. I can call at any point in the day to see how she is doing. I LOVE the detailed reports about her day, too. My 1 year old creates an art project everyday, which is so fun to see. We even have a room parent who checks in once a month with Goddard news. This room parent also started a parent group blog where we can connect with each other on questions we might have about our baby, things to do in the community or to welcome babies as they move through the rooms. Goddard Castle Rock has been one of the best decisions so far in my daughters educational growth.

Our child has attended The Goddard School of Castle Rock for almost two years. I have a background in education so we initially chose Goddard because of the strong curriculum foundation, student/teacher ratio, and overall cleanliness of the facility. However, the more time I spent witnessing my child interact with teachers, the owners, and other staff members, I quickly realized she was receiving genuine love and attention that she personally needs. We have progressed through three classrooms and each transition is initially hard for me because I have adored each teacher and I wonder if the next will be just as amazing as the last. Well, each of them have proven to exceed all of my expectations. I am truly grateful to Goddard for allowing my daughter to develop early friendships, explore the unknown, create amazing crafts, and believe in herself.

My husband and I are delighted and impressed with the care and education that the Goddard School in Castle Rock provides for our children. In January 2009, we changed from another local day care center that was becoming more of a glorified babysitting service than a true learning facility. After transferring to the Goddard School, we noticed an immediate difference in how our children are treated, what they are learning, and how remarkable the teachers at Goddard are. Every teacher at the Goddard School has a college degree and most degrees are in early childhood education. As opposed to the other day care, most “teachers” were high school students or “certified” instructors. . Goddard School has an educational curriculum and preschool program that follow that Douglas County School system. I know that my children will be well prepared for kindergarten and first grade. We are also impressed with the strict student-to-teacher ratio, the cleanliness of their school, and low turnover rate of their teachers. The teachers genuinely seem happy to be working there and the owners are very attentive to any concerns and questions that we may have. In March 2012, the ownership changed hands to Vince and Nancy Radosta. While we deeply miss Laura Morton the previous owner, we are very pleased with Vince and Nancy in their proactive attitude in creating the best preschool in Castle Rock. They are creating new programs for their summer camp, fun in-school visits from local businesses, reading programs, and replacement of the grass with artificial turf. If you are looking for a quality school where your children will thrive and learn emotionally, physically, and mentally, this is the school for you and your children.

Our son spent three years at Goddard, and it was an exceptional environment for his educational and social growth. The curriculum and activities were enjoyable, but also thoroughly prepared him for kindergarten. The school and classrooms are safe and impeccably clean. Multiple classrooms foster age-appropriate development, and teachers provide individualized attention to each child. Daily reports and periodic parent/teacher conferences always kept us fully abreast of our sons progress. In sum, Vince, Nancy, and the entire staff run a top-flight school. The Goddard School is an exceptional choice for early childhood education. My son has become an entirely different kid in the few short months since he started at GS. He is more social, brave, and tolerant of new environments than he was before he started. He loves to sing and he brings home new ideas and stories and songs every day. He loves his teachers and his friends. Its a clean, safe environment and you can tell the teachers and staff care about every single student for whom they are responsible. Choosing your childs first school is a daunting task but Vince and Nancy make it as easy as possible and really want to work WITH the parents to determine what will be best for each child. The school also offers additional activities, like Parents Night Out, to engage the school community. Honestly, the hardest part will be having to leave when my son is old enough to attend full day school. The Goddard school will not be the cheapest option for childcare, but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and I am getting more than my moneys worth with them.

We have had our child in this school for the past two years (Pre-K and Kindergarten). We were initially hesitant to have our child in a franchise school like this. We had assumed that schools like this were more concerned about maintaining their numbers vs. focusing on each child.Boy were we wrong. We have come away from this experience with our expectations exceeded and a sense of pride that our child attended this school. The Pre-K teachers were very in-tune with each childs individual needs and personalities. The owners and staff are very down to earth and truly care for the program and students. No one there puts on a face - seeing the teachers and staff genuinely care for your child was wonderful. The highlight of our experience was with the Kindergarten teacher Ms. Diana. Ms. Diana set the bar so high (as far as exceeding our expectations) that we are wary of sending our child into elementary school! We certainly hope he gets the same type of treatment and challenge that Ms. Diana provided, but we honestly think having teachers like this will be a rare experience. We are so grateful for the environment she created and how this led to where our child is now socially and academically.

Our 5 year old son is in Kindergarten at the Goddard School in Castle Rock and I cant say enough about this school! Not only is he well-taken care of in an unbelievably clean and healthy environment (extremely clean!), but he is super happy there as well! He loves his teachers and cant wait to go to school every day and actually gets upset when we pick him up after school as he doesnt want to leave (Im not joking!). The flexible times we have to take him to school and pick him up are also wonderful (they are open 7-6) as there are days that we have greatly needed to be able to take him or pick him up outside of regular “school hours.”Ms. Diana is a really good Kindergarten teacher and our son will be extremely prepared and most likely further ahead of the other children when he attends the private school our older children go to. His birthday is near the cut-off and our school encouraged us to keep him back a year. It was a big dilemma for us as to what to do and we luckily found the Goddard school to give us this year in order to evaluate and see where he will better fit in next year. He began in August (6 months ago) not knowing all of the alphabet or being able to read and he is now reading at a beginner level. He is far more advanced than our older children were! He is more than prepared to go to first grade rather than start Kindergarten again. The Castle Rock Goddard school Kindergarten class he is in is a small class where the children get along really well and they learn at a much faster pace due to the one-on-one time and the attention to detail they get in their small classroom. Our son is truly thriving at the Castle Rock Goddard School. I can honestly say he is in the best environment he could be in and the teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. These children are well-taken care of and they are safe and happy. I also want to point out that I am amazed at the life lessons our son learns as well. He comes home with all sorts of stories about the manners and the good-behavior lessons he learned in school that day. That is not very common where children are being taught not only a good education, but a good life-education as well as far as how to be courteous and kind and treat others with respect and care. Finally, I want to point out that the owners are doing this the right way. They are extremely nice, receptive, caring, and they are running a school the right way. It is clean, friendly, safe, and a “family-oriented” atmosphere. I can’t speak highly enough of the Castle Rock Goddard School and I wish our son could continue with them further! We went into it not knowing where to place him due to where his birthday falls and we ended up finding the absolutely BEST possible place he could be in! Thank you Vince and Nancy and all of the staff at the Castle Rock Goddard School for taking care of our son and making him feel so loved, cherished, well-adjusted, and happy!

Vince and Nancy made a very strong impression on me and my husband at first blush. We visited the school during a very critical transition for our family and they welcomed us with open arms. Of course, the most important factors in ultimately selecting The Goddard School for both of our children was the curriculum, teachers, tenure, security and culture. Since we started we have enjoyed seeing our children learn and conform to the structure and guidance this school offers. I very much appreciate the constant communication and daily reporting that is provided to keep me engaged in both our kids development and activities. As I recall, the first week of attendance, my daughter learned about Japan. She could count to 10 in Japanese, learned about their culture, dress and flag.It is important to me to know that my kids are in good hands, that their safety is top priority and that they feel good about their teachers and School Administration. All of these priorities are met at Goddard and my kids are enjoying the leadership and nurturing of all the staff. For anyone looking at Goddard, I would strongly encourage you to consider the value of, Peace Of Mind coupled with extraordinary education for your child(ren).

This review is after 2 years of Goddard and then 2 months of my child being at Reniassance. At first I was disappointed as she was near her graduation from Goddard. I was not sure she was progressing like I thought she should be. After several parent classes at Reniassance, I found my child was exactly where she should be. Goddard and Ms. Michelle had already established a foundation for reading, math and science. Its amazing how Ms Michelle was able to develop a curriculum that gave my child a solid base for entering Kindergarten. Learning styles have changed drastically since I was a child and I have come to realize that this is a far better style for my child. We had great luck with teachers at Goddard. We seemed to always end up with some of the best around. The classes were a bit larger than we hoped but well within the requirments. Also, we were not thrilled with the snacks provided, Chez Its, Cheese Whiz, Rice Cakes, etc. dont have much of any nutritional value. There were days with apples, cucumbers and ranch, so that was nice to see.Safety is our number one priority. Times when we arrived without staff at the front desk was few and far between (probably a bathroom break or a brief visit to a classroom). I forgot my door code so sometimes I had to wait for someone to buzz me in which is great, Id rather wait instead if just walking right in.Parking is fine as long as other parents actually park in one spot. Of course you get those selfish parents that are in a hurry and just whip their cars into two spots.Id see Castle Rock PD making several visits there for the kids. That was great, I love seeing them at the school.Overall we were very pleased. There is always room for improvement but when you actually see what should be improved, I dont think its enough to take a star away. Now, if they could only keep some of those great teachers around a bit longer.

We noticed a huge difference in how our daughter was learning and her confidence level in only a few months. Starting in the Pre-K room we realized quickly the teachers truly care about the kids and have a gentle approach to learning. She was excited about school and when I would come to pick her up, she was often not ready to leave! She is now a Kindergarten Graduate of Goddard! Thanks to Miss Diana and her ability to allow my child to thrive, she is well above the Douglas county requirements for 1st grade next school year. I know she will thrive in her coming years of school because she is truly excited to learn! I highly recommend the low teacher to student ratio of the kindergarten program. My son who is now 3, has truly excelled at Goddard. The atmoshere of learning is rounded out with daily routine items they need to learn to be independent. This has helped my little man become confident in himself which is extremely important in every aspect of life! Potty training was so easy with the teachers help! What a relief. He has so many basics down already including learning spanish and mandarin!!! So impressive! He eagerly chatters off what he did that day when I pick him to go home. His teachers are wonderful and bringing out his creative side. Thank you to all his teachers! We love the Goddard School at Castle Rock!

Our daughter started in the Get Set classroom at Goddard in the fall of 2010. She quickly became comfortable with her teachers and other kids in the classroom. Our daughter is now in the Pre-K classroom. To this day, our daughter smiles big and says hi when she sees her Get Set teacher. In the Get Set class our daughter built on her knowledge of shapes, letters, numbers, and writing skills. Her physical development also improved with the play activities encouraged out on the playground. She soon moved to the Preschool classroom. She developed a strong bond with her Preschool teachers and looked forward to seeing them each day. The Preschool teacher had a very nurturing spirit and gentle way about her (that teacher is still teaching in the Preschool classroom). Our daughters knowledge of the alphabet, letters sounds, numbers/counting, writing, drawing, painting, and creativity skills in general took leaps while being in the Preschool classroom. In the fall of 2012, our daughter moved into the Pre-K classroom. She moved along with a lot of her classmates from Preschool which greatly helped the transition to Pre-K. She learned a great deal (writing upper & lower case letters, counting to 200+, counting by tens and fives, pre-reading skills, art/creativity skills, social development (working through things with friends, expressing your thoughts in a kind way, etc)) while in the Pre-K classroom. We know that our daughter is more than ready for Kindergarten starting in August. We have appreciated the accountability at the Goddard School. That has been a comfort to us. It is also comforting to know there are several people to talk to about any concerns in the classroom. We know our daughter is having a lot of fun with her classmates and teachers while still learning new things every day. The owners and front office staff have been so friendly and make us feel like we are part of a family at the school. We will be sad to leave the Goddard School of Castle Rock come August but are so grateful for all they have done to help our daughter grow and get ready for Kindergarten and beyond.
